- The BCR-X10 includes a number of module components; its original scope, which function on up to x200 zoom, can be switched out for similar components with low-light vision, heat-tracking and electronic signatures.
- The barrel can be switched to change the effectiveness for range. Longer barrels lead to more accuracy the further the target is, but also lowers the impact of the bolt.
- The BCR-X10 can be modified to support either slugs or standard power cells. Unorthodox modifications include darts and gas cells, but any attempt to do so would be at the agent's own risk.
- Silencers for both power cell and slug-firing versions are able to add on; these add to the stealth of the weapon but lessen the range and stopping power.
- LONG RANGE: The BCR-X10 is most effective at long ranges, places where the user can safely pick off the enemy from a distance.

After the formation of the Ministry of Secrets, it quickly became apparent that adequate equipment would be needed for the highly specialized and dangerous operations that would be taken on by Crows and Ravens in the Ministry. Thus, it was left up to one very enterprising Rook to create a new sniper rifle who's name and report would soon become infamous throughout the galaxy -- thus, the BCR-X10 was born. Designed to be extremely modular so it could adapt to an individual's mission requirements, the BCR-X10 has scopes that can effectively target up to a kilometer and-a-half away (and that's just with the standard versions), slugs that can punch through most armor and barrels that can change the range and effectiveness of the rifle. It is truly an Assassin's best friend.
