- Intent: Create a companion droid for Max Wayne that can help with adventures, but still perform independent actions with Max, as well as increase his own skills with experience and as Max adds to his programming throughout RP.

(Concept artist EA Games) - Role: BD-2U is a companion droid as well as assistant to Max, helps with slicing, and goes with Max on all adventures.

- Model: BD Unit - Explorer Droid Class
- Appearance: When folded down BD-2U sits at approximately 45 cm. However, when fully extended his body can reach between 60 to 70 cm. He has grey and red armor plating, with some carbon scoring and age showing on the edges of his plating. There are exposed wires along his legs, but these seem to have been upgraded and replaced just before entering Max's possession.
- Name: BD-2U or "Blue"
- Loyalties: Companion Droid for Max Wayne, extremely loyal to Max.
- Notable Equipment: Scomp Link, Multi-function repair tool, long-range scanners and sensors, extensive memory core, and holo-projector.
- Skills: Detailed terrain mapping, life signs detection, long-range sensors, beginner level slicing, computer and droid maintenance skills, as well as some basic shipboard computer repair skills.

- Personality: Even though Blue's entire personality and operating system were wiped prior to Max purchasing him, he has already begun to display loyalty and cunning. He is generally friendly to new people, but due to experiences with criminal elements, he takes time to trust new organics.
- Weapon of Choice: Blue does not have or use traditional weapons, he does, however, have a small multi-function tool that contains a fusion welder and eclectic pike that is primarily used for system repairs, but can be used in smaller close-quarter combat functions, such as burning or electrocution an opponent as well as to ignite flammable substances.
- Combat Function: While Blue does not use any weapons, he is agile and cunning. He can jump and bound around to distract an opponent as well as to avoid weapons fire. As well as use his holo-projector as a possible defense. In close quarters his multi-function tool can cause damage or pain.
- Scomp Link - BD-2U's operating system was almost completely wiped before purchasing by Max. He has since installed a basic slicing program as well as general computer efficiency to allow Blue to use his Scomp link as efficiently as possible with his current programming.
- Advanced sensors and scanners - Originally designed for exploration and surveying, they provide Blue with quick and accurate information about the surrounding area.
- Mobility/Size - Blue is small and relatively lightweight, being able to be easily carried by Max when needed, as well as being able to fit in smaller and cramped spaces. He is nimble and able to jump and move with ease in a wide variety of terrains.
- Limited Programming and Abilities - While Blue has top-of-the-line systems, his operating system and programming were wiped making access to much of his functions and abilities limited. Max is slowly working on either building or acquiring new programming and has been installing them, but this is taking time.
- No Weapons Usesage - Blue does not have or use weapons.
- Strength - Blue is not physically strong, especially in comparison to other droids, and has limited carrying capacity due to his size.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Little is known about Blue's history prior to coming into possession of Gatto, the information broker that sold the little droid to Max. When Max acquired Blue, he discovered that not only had the droid's memory been wiped, but also much of his operating system and core functions had been erased as well. This has left Blue with limited abilities and needing to be reprogrammed to gain back much of his functionality. Upon further inspection, Max has discovered that while Blue's software is basic and almost non-existent, his hardware is state of the art, just non-functional without the proper programming. As BD Units are rare and not in common production, very few resources are available for programming this model of droid. Max has been forced to write the necessary coding himself, or modify programming to work for Blue. This has greatly slowed down the progress of accessing his higher functions.
