Beach Day [SJO, Allies, LS]

The was what happened at times, when you came out of the woods, so to speak, and allowed yourself to settle somewhere for more than a few minutes. People came out of the woodwork. It wasn’t always a problem, but when you existed as long as Starchaser had, then one could run into some situations of where and why you knew people.

Not that it was a problem here, but between deployments, there were always those people who you would run into and then be shipped across the galaxy. Having a more firm location to hang onto, Kashyyyk, D’Qar, Sullust, Eira Pechal, it definitely helped focus people. But once Stardust approached, Coren couldn’t help but be friendly, even if his attention was still on Celeste and how to get her to go for a swim.

They’d get there.

“Whats got you out here in Silver space, Stardust?” He asked as he looked from the Twi’lek to Celeste again. He could feel the approach of the child, Atticus, and did offer up a smile. Not that they were properly introduced yet.

Star looked between the two...had she interrupted something? A grin played upon her lips as she chuckled to herself before speaking

zeltros, I uh..im queen of the planet, been so for...year or so

She had lost track of the years, it had been a long time for sure, turning her attention back to her old friend she let her smile return

what about you? Last I remember...you know what I cant even remember the last time we met that was...jeez least a decade or more yeah?

It amazes stardust, just how long you can go between talking to someone and meeting them again. Could be a day, could be years....but when your as old as stardust and seen a few fall in battle time didnt matter at all only if you saw them again

A day at the beach? Auteme couldn't wait.

She'd begun to feel a little cooped up after the few weeks she'd spent at the Jedi Temple here on Kashyyyk. Who knew she could get bored of books? She hadn't, honestly. But the fresh air here at the beach was something she'd want to enjoy for a while.

As soon as the teenager touched the sand she kicked off her sandals, letting her feet make imprints in the sand. She'd found a swimsuit among her things -- pretty lucky, wouldn't want to not swim. At the moment that was hidden under a bright green poncho, which swayed in the wind slightly as she walked down to an open area of the beach.

Auteme threw down her bag, filled with the various things she felt she might need during the day. She grabbed a towel and set it down, then sat down, her eyes scanning the various beachgoers. A bit of nervousness crept into her mind -- there wasn't really anyone her age around. No one she could talk to, at least, no one who wasn't already talking. She wasn't a Jedi, but she was at an event held by them. Once more out of place.

She frowned slightly, starting to mess with her short brown hair, wondering what she should do... a little shade would be nice, too. Or maybe a glass of juice.

Kashyyyk was one of the planets Sigyn liked the best. It reminded her of her own home planet, Midvinter, just warmer. The heat was one thing she had not adjusted to yet, therefore she was a bit uncertain when she was told that many of the jedi were going to have a beach day. Sure, it sounded nice, but staying out in the sun was not a thing Sigyn was used to. Nevertheless, she decided to go.

Since it was a beach day, Sigyn had decided to wear a simple blue bikini With a shirt over. The shirt was mostly because she was not used to wearing so little, and felt a need to have one. She had also decided to let her spear stay at the academy, despite the fact that she took it almost everywhere she went. But what she did bring was sunscreen. A lot of sunscreen.

Arriving at the Beach, she was not sure what to do. You could Count on one hand the number of beaches she had been to, and she didn't know many of the jedi well yet. Suddenly, she felt a good smell coming from somewhere. Someone was grilling. This made her realize how hungry she really was, and she decided to follow the smell.

Not long after, she found the Source of the smell. Sigyn approached the grill, where some People already stood, talking about how well they could make Food themselves. Walking up to them, she thought this could be a good opportunity to get to know some of her fellow jedi a bit better. "The only Food I know how to Cook is the Wildlife from Midvinter, which won't impress many from the rest of the Galaxy. But that looks really good," she said while looking at the different meat the man in the Group had grilled. "I'm Sigyn, by the way. Sigyn Vanir. A New padawan here." She smiled at them, and offered a hand to those who might want to handshake.

That looks pretty good.” Horus leaned over Elyane's shoulder, offering her a warm smile as he took her drink into his hand. He offered her a warm smile while taking a sip of the fruity drink. It was a little sweet for his tastes, but he liked it. Setting it back on the bar in front of him, he looked to the bartender. “Can I get a Corellian Ale?” The bartender turned back to his stock, searching for the particular beverage the you man had ordered. Horus placed his hands on Elyane's shoulders. They were soft and warmed by the beach sun. He could have kept them there forever if he had a mind to.

How are you liking the beach? A bit different from the ones back home.” A joke. The beach back on Illyria were seldom used for recreation. The planet had been at war for so long that most of the beaches had been the sites of many battles. It made for a poor vacation spot. Horus leaned on the bar beside Elyane. He didn't have much on, just a pair of sky blue swim trunks and a pair of shades resting in the nest of curls that made up his hair. Horus lowered his shades over his eyes when he turned towards the sun. His body was considerably tanned as it was. A year of Apatros could do that. When last Elyane had seen him he had been in good shape, but now his figure was more defined and mature, matching the thin layer of hair growing on his chin.

It was nice of them to invite us. I never thought we'd end up at a beach party with the Jedi.” He said, chuckling a bit to mask the genuine surprise he held.

"Sittin alone with a frown? That's no way to spend your time at a beach." Kahlil settled in the sand beside [member="Auteme Denko-Durren"] , offering a warm smile. He had arrived with [member="Eenia Vahn"] just a little while ago, but seeing a new face feeling uncomfortable, well. It reminded him of his first experience going to a beach among strangers. There's nothing more awkward then feeling alone at a party.

The young man was dressed in a simple pair of swimming trunks and a long sleeved button up shirt. Despite the warm temperature he kept his torso covered. Had to, too many scars that some folks might want to know more about, and Kahlil didn't want to talk about that. Not here at least. He turned his attention back to the waters, closing his eyes to just focus on the sounds of the waves for a moment.

"I'm Kahlil."

Auteme was slightly startled by the boy -- she'd been looking in the other direction. She really should pay more attention... but at least now she had someone to talk to. "Well I can't say I came here with anyone to talk to," she said, her frown turning... well, upside-down into a small smile. Her green eyes swept over the young man beside her, studying him. The only thought she had was her odd wonder at why anyone would wear a button-up shirt to a beach. "And I'm not all that familiar with anything around here. Adjustment issues," she said with a small laugh.

She sat back, propping herself up with her elbows as she looked out at the water. "Nice to meet you Kahlil. I'm Auteme. Pretty new here, as I said. Are you a Jedi?" The teenager still had no real idea on how to sense such things -- maybe she'd ask later.

Once again, Ahron found herself in a new place, surrounded by new people, and she had absolutely no idea how or why she was there. She should really lay of the drugs, but the drugs were too useful. Thankfully, the Mandragora hadn't told her to stop taking her drugs, and therefore she just kept taking them. Thankfully, this time, she was somewhere that had a benefit. It was warm. Warmth was nice, there was water nearby, and thus Ahron had spent the first 20 or so minutes at this beach digging. Creating a nice little sand platform, then ditching her robes, laying on said little platform, and all but melting into it.

Was nice. Warm sun reflected off warm sand. What more could a cold blooded creature ask for? Her two lightsabers lay on the platform with her, always touching her. A close eye could see that the quills along her spine had what looked like glass tied, weaved, and all manner of other attachments to keep them there. On her stomach, head flat with the platform, tongue sticking out slightly just so she could stay aware of the people around her. It was entertaining to say the least. Now the question was...

... What else could she do here?

Kahlil nodded to [member="Auteme Denko-Durren"] , glancing from the corner of his eye to the woman. "New to the order compared to many, but yeah. I'm a Jedi." He came a long way, and to finally be able to say he was had taken a lot of soul searching. But the young man smiled wide, taking pride in the fact that he was now a Jedi, truly. "There's a lot of new folks here. To me, at least, and I've been in the order for a couple years. It's amazing how little interaction you end up getting with some of the folks."

A small shrug. "I could introduce you to some of them I do know, if you'd like?"

"Well, I'm sure the Jedi are happy to have you," she said with a smile. Auteme had great respect for the Jedi, and it seemed that this man was proud to be among their number. She definitely wasn't ready to join them, though.

She nodded at his comment about little interaction. After all, the Jedi traveled the galaxy to do good and all that -- likely alone for long periods of time, or at least not among many other Jedi. She suddenly felt a little guilty for dragging away Kahlil -- surely he had better people to talk to. "Yeah, makes sense... I traveled a fair bit, I've only been here for a few weeks, but I don't know if I'm gonna leave anytime soon. Might as well make a few friends," she said, returning Kahlil's smile.

Auteme nodded. "If it's not too much trouble. Lead the way." She began to get to her feet, still loving the feeling of the sand under her feet.

With everything that had been going on lately for Eenia, it was nice to be taken by the hand and pulled away from everything that was bogging her down. It was always so easy for [member="Kahlil Zambrano"] to pull her away from the facade she had going on for herself and genuinely return her to the bright and bubbly woman that she was. So when the decision to go to the beach was made? Eenia had eagerly agreed, and arriving had not disappointed her a wit.

The last trip the pair of them had made to a beach for social reasons had created a connection for the blonde with the salty waters. She was hooked, the beach was a place of sanctuary, even with other people around. Enough so that Nia didn't even tease when Kahlil pulled away from her to go and socialize. She was perfectly content just looking out over the waters that matched her eye color, and while she had dressed for the occasion, for now the white swimsuit cover she had worn remained in place over her frame.

No right now all she wanted to do was stand there at the water's edge and truly be and feel serene without anyone else influencing her one way or the other.

Kahlil got to his own feet with a nod, grinning to [member="Auteme Denko-Durren"] . "Admittedly I only know one person, but she's probably the best person here. Easiest to get along with and such." 'And such' was a huge list on how he felt about [member="Eenia Vahn"] , but he wasn't about to go on a tangent to someone he had just met. No reason to scare a potential Jedi off. "She's why I was able to stay here and become a Jedi."

After dusting off his sand covered shorts he lead the tanned woman to where Eenia stood, waving to the blonde. "Hey! I got someone you should meet!"

When it raines... it pours.
Dressed for the occasion Samara grabbed a towel from her canvas tote bag and spread it out on the Kashyyyk beach, then sat down atop it while kicking her sandals off and setting them aside. She wasn't sure if [member="Tyrell Caphey"] was going to make it, but the Jedi Healer hoped the Antarian Ranger could join her.

The blonde was still sporting a tan from their vacation to Spira. Now that trip with the Tarisan to the ocean resort was definitely one to remember. Samara could hardly think of anything else or a particular someone. Meditation was not helping either. She was so lost in love. Maybe this is why the Jedi of the Old Order did not allow attachments. They were a distraction... but were relationships really? I mean, finally the Liann felt alive inside for once and took a little more pride in her work too. Everything just felt like it had more meaning.

Sea green orbs hidden behind dark lenses perused the area along the shoreline and they fell upon the young child of the Chief Healer. He was so full of energy, innocence, and wonderment. Samara casually mused if she would ever be a mother someday. It had never been on her mind until now. The thought both excited and scared the Jedi Knight to death.

He looked over to Celeste and gave a quick little smile and shrug. Sure, he was hoping to more tease and flirt on the Jedi instructor, but he had a long list of people he dealt with, and running into them all wasn’t unheard of. He gave the instructor a wink before looking back to Stardust.

“I think I did hear that, but I’ve been on the warpath for a while. The Alliance fell, and their worlds were needing help. Silvers and Outer Rim were helping, but a lot of them, we needed to help ourselves.” We here being the group in charge of the Alliance in Exile. They were looking forward to Sullust again, but even before that, they were getting soldiers on the ground, extracting people into the fleet, and helping governments ease into the change.

However that went.

“Been a while. Fall of the Alliance, and the time between then and now. Got myself into a bit of the nomad life, and wandering. Trying to rally the Jedi and rebels where I can. So, making trips in and out of Kashyyyk isn’t unheard of for me.”

"Well, she sure sounds like someone to meet," Auteme said with a smile. Seemed that Kahlil was close with whoever this woman was, but she wouldn't probe. The teenager followed along, eventually spotting the awfully serene-looking blonde at the edge of the water. She felt a little bad disturbing the young woman.

She offered a friendly smile to the girl. "Hi! I'm Auteme, it's nice to meet you." She was a little annoyed by Kahlil's introduction of her -- surely he could be a little more polite... but whatever.

[member="Kahlil Zambrano"] [member="Eenia Vahn"]

Eenia felt it when Kahlil drew nearer to her, and her body half shifted in his direction in response. A warm smile slowly lifted the corners of her mouth, and even when her gaze drifted to whomever it was that he clearly intended for her to meet, the smile remained in place. She didn't however make the pair come all of the way to her. Nia stepped away from the shore's edge and closed half of the distance that had been between them and herself.

"Hi Auteme," she greeted and she extended a hand out to the teen. "I'm Eenia, and it's very nice to meet you as well." There was sincerity in both her expression and her gaze, indicating that she wasn't just trying to play nice but genuinely pleased to come across someone new. "I don't think I've seen you before, how long have you been on Kashyyyk?"

She watched as Coren sent a wink her way, and she merely blinked in response. Celeste turned away from the conversation between Coren and Star momentarily. She happened to notice the familiar presence of one of her fellow Silver Circle members, [member="Samara Raine"]. It was good to see that the young Knight had come down to the beach, she hoped that Samara would have a chance to relax and have some fun, too. She gave her a small wave and a smile, and then glanced to Atticus as he tugged on her arm.

“What is it, Atti?” She asked, brows lofting.

The small boy pointed to Celeste's tote bag, where the snacks were always kept. With a smile, Celeste drew a few of options out – a container of fruit, and a bag of crackers. Atticus took a few pieces of melon and began to munch, his little feet kicking at the sand as he sat.

A soft smile formed on her face, listening as Coren mentioned trips to Kashyyyk. Yes, she had seen him a couple of times lately. It was rather nice to have her friend back, almost like old times.

“Queen of Zeltros?” Celeste asked, canting her head at Stardust. “Goodness, that sounds like quite a job.” She added, smiling.

She listened to her old friend, sounded like him for sure the one to gather everybody and fights for what is right. Chuckling she sat back and sighed

I've been around...done different things hell I could write a story or two ended up with the silvers after they came and took the sector zeltros was in..

Sipping her drink she looked over to celeste and laughed a little nodding in agreement

it can be! But when you've got advisors and a husband who knows how to deal with the political stuff you find it a LOT easier to do things

With that she laughed again before settling down

what do you do celeste? Kinda curious now

It was funny, they lived on a beach. But while Josh did prefer the homestead, there was something about having your friends all around that gave Kashyyyk's beach it's character in this instance. Perhaps that was why he had suggested to Ra that Jason take a break from his training to have a beach day out with the rest of the Silver Jedi Order. Not to mention there was lots of food, and despite how old Jason was getting... The five year old had never lost his voracious appetite. He ate like a space Spartan, and with how much he ate, might very well fight like one too one day.

Josh had just come back with a few hot dogs and burgers from the grill on a set of paper plates, setting them down on the beach towel as Jason, who was sitting beside [member="Riamah"] couldn't help but stare at them with his mouth watering. Josh couldn't help but laugh a bit as he set them down. "Well, dig in! There's plenty!"

Honestly A'Runda had a hard time believing that there could be so much greenery on a planet. He'd heard of worlds covered in water, but worlds covered in trees was pretty crazy to him. But he wasn't here to look into and appreciated alien flora. Nope. The Tusken was hear to try and teach himself how to swim. If not that, then at least get more comfortable with large bodies of water. If he was on Tatooine a place with this much permanent water would be a holy landmark to Tatooine natives.

A'Runda's garbs are both very unusual for him, yet, culturally appropriate. He was also wearing a full face, black visor, aquatic breath mask to both conceal his face with the rest of his body and for the off chance he gets dragged out by the turbulent waters.

Standing on the beach the Tusken was limbering up for his charge into the water. He was truly jumping into the deep end here with trying to learn how to swim. Since oceans weren't the kindest waters with newcomers. But he had to remember, what, or more specifically who he was doing this for. [member=Damsy Callat] managed to keep her cool when he saw who she really was. The least he could do was try and understand what aquatic life was like. After stretching and getting himself hyped up A'Runda marched forwards and charged into the waves. "For Damsy!" The Tusken cried out as he pushed into the water. However he instantly underestimated the strength of the waves and as it crashed into him it tripped up his legs and he fell face first into the water and sand underneath. Getting into an immediate panic he began flailing around in the water as the tide brought him further into the water slightly. But he thought the ocean was trying to eat him! "HEEEELLLLLLLLP!" He shouted, while flailing all four of his limbs in every direction. He didn't care how much he was disrupting the event, he needed help. Because he could probably seriously die from this.
