Strengths:
- Heavy guns: No one can doubt that this tank comes with heavy guns. A lot of heavy weapons to destroy everything in its path. The Behemoth Mk 2 has the armor to follow up with it too, just to be on the safe side.
- Rugged: The Behemoth Mk 2 can take royal abuse and keep on going. She is designed with redundant measures, re-enforced pipes, and the ability to just keep on even under wicked levels of damage. She stands up against the most inclemental weather without so much as a whimper of protest. This tank can and will go the distance.
- Command Center: The Behemoth mk 2 has everything that is needed to be a mobile command center for tactical operations. Ardgal has everything that he needs in this workplace to be able to conduct these fights from the front.
- Treads: Unfortunately, it was all but impossible to give the Behemoth Mk 2 the guns it possesses and keep it off the ground. Repulsors just couldn't keep up with the strain, or were too big to be logistical. So the Behemoth Mk 2 possesses treads. This tank has a pretty slow turn time and her Maneuverability is tragic.
- Fuel: The First generation of the Behemoth was a gas guzzler by nature. There was just too much to power to keep it fuel efficient. The second isn't much better. She still burns through fuel way too fast and has half the deployment radius of your average tank before requiring a pit stop.
- Heavy Boy: The Behemoth Mk 2 is even heavier than its predecessor, and because of that, it takes up even more space in cargo holds.
- No Air Conditioning: Heating is not a problem aboard this vessel. The Behemoth Mk 2's generator feeds most of its heat waste into the cabin to reduce any possible detection. While this is great in the cold tundras of Hoth and such, its pretty horrible otherwise.
- Exposed gunners: The FRG Hellion gunners have to stand on the side railing thing. If these guns are mounted, then these guys are not protected by the Phirk armor of the Behemoth.
The First Behemoth was a wonderful work. The tank was designed to be the gem of Ardgal's army, and while it was this for quite some time--Ardgal's skills and knowledge in weapons technology has increased. And then it became apparent that the general needed a new land command vehicle.
First, Ardgal started by taking notes of what worked and what didn't for the Behemoth. The tank really never failed tragically or what have you, it just never seemed to fully perform either. So, for starters, the man upped its gun game--by quite a bit. Ardgal kept the Electromagnetic plasma cannon since it had become a close to his heart weapon. But to that he added a gravity gun.
