Powerful slams into the ground would belly the weight of the creature before him as the stone walkway was destroyed with each powerful step. A mass of black, covered in what appeared to be chitin, and wielding a massive blade was bearing down on the seemingly lone target. When Kyyrk decided to go on the offense, it wasn't so much that the beast didn't plan for it. It didn't care. In the second it would take for them to meet, it would swing its massive blade over head as it intended to crush him with the weight and force of its much heavier weapon. A blow that just missed the warrior as he deftly side stepped the monster and struck with his now light imbued blade. What he might find curious was that when his blade struck it seemed to recoil and the armor would almost sizzle at the site of impact. The light itself would almost shimmer like something was wrong with it, but he probably couldn't be sure. The arrow however would very much get the beast's attention as the bright flash would cause it to look away and snarl like it was being provoked. But what they might catch if they were paying attention, was that as the wave of light energy crashed upon the monster, it would seem to shimmer and turn dark along with the armor once again sizzling. Something it seemed in the monster was corrupting the force light around it, but doing so definitely caused the beast pain. And so with crash of crumbling solid rock, it ripped the sword out of the ground as it turned to both of them. As Kyyrk's lightsaber would come flying towards it the monster would simply bat the weapon to the side. It stared intently at its target, approaching slowly like a wolf might a deer.

That's when another beast of the Unmaker would arrive, flying through the air as it tried to tackle The Monster. The result however would be it being caught just before impact, a single hand clutching its throat the monster would slam it into the ground and unleash a massive force scream. Flesh, chitin, and any other tissue would be stripped from bone before the bones themselves shattered under the wave. And that problem being dealt with, it would once again eye the now two prey before it. The one with the bow had drawn its ire, but Kyyrk was the one it wanted. It would raise its sword once again, this time however it held its position. It would bring the blade overhead as it gathered itself, before slamming the blade into the ground with the force to cut apart literal tanks. It would generate a massive blast as rock was thrown in all directions, the monster taking most of it heading towards the spaceport, but the two in front of him would be caught in the line of fire as the deadly shrapnel would cut through the air. And as soon as the strike was finished it would take a flying leap directly at Kyyrk, hoping to distract him with the shrapnel. Its body would contort in the air as it flew towards them both, intending to bisect them in a single cleave.

Herald of the Unmaker: Magog
Life comes at you fast.

One moment, you're razing a city to the ground - and loving every second of it. The next, the screeching roar of high boost engines is deafening your ears. At least, that was the scenario the Young Wolf found himself in.

While he was not daft enough to believe that he would be able to freely rampage without any resistance, Seren at least thought the skies would be his. After all, by all accounts, the armada had all but attained space superiority. He assumed this would mean he could focus on baiting out the world that had stolen his sibling. But he was wrong. Dead wrong. Shortly after the inferno finished burning from the mouth of his drake, the roar of engines arrived on the horizon. He barely had enough time to turn in midair before his scales were on fire.

The initial salvo of bullets rained against the beasts' hide. Some pierced and found their mark, illiciting a pained SCREEE from the drake. Others bounced harmlessly away. Seren attempted to guide the beast to tuck in its wings and dive - perhaps it could draw some of the ordnance towards the vulnerable city below. They wouldn't get the chance. Something louder, faster, and larger than the bullets exploded against them. All Seren could see through the beast's eyes were fire. All he could feel was agony.

BOOM!

The missile's impact rocked against the drake's form, causing it to plummet to the earth. It crashed clean through the top a shopping centre, collapsing the entire structure in the process. Seren was buried beneath the rubble. Alive, yes. But buried. He groaned and struggled against the weight of the building which was now atop him. He attempted to move the beast's wings. Pinned. Attempted to shuffle and claw. Nothing.

Fury escaped both their mouths. Heat blossomed and billowed. Fire cascaded. And a fresh wave of inferno swept forth. From above, it was easy to control the chaos. To aim and spread the destruction in a specific direction. But from underneath a building's worth of damnation, the fire spread in all directions.

Though grounded, the City would continue to burn.

Dragon is shot down by Draconis, is now spreading even more fire through city - indiscriminately. Flames are approaching most ground combatants.

GOLBAH HILL

The Overliege was furious.
It was seldom that the Vampyre lost composure. Seldom that he allowed any level of frustration to color his actions. Whether it be during the sessions of the Viceroyalty or when addressing the Court of Ukio - Agravain was a man known for his temperance. Yet today? He was a shadow of his former self. The culprit was the news clutched firmly within his grasp. A datapad which was bringing the latest about Ukio. Like most worlds within the Confederacy, it was under assault. The larger invasion forces had pushed through the nation, making a bloody advance upon the capital. Yet, the worlds not directly in their path were not spared. Ukio found itself home to a host of demonic entities.
And his people were not faring well. At all.
Their native defense fleet had been decimated. Their homeguard was being torn apart to the last man. Survivors were now holing up inside his palace for a last ditch attempt at survival. And where was their Overliege? Stuck in a damn shuttle on Naboo. Outside of the vessel's windows, he could see the source of the delay clear as day. The Vicelord, his Exarchs, and the Queen were debating. It was clear that the leader of the embattled nation was attempting to convince the Queen to board - and she was not having it. Fine. Why should the evacuation of the rest of the Viceroyalty be stalled on the account of one person? Capital be damned. Agravain rose from his seat, scowling. He did not stick his head out the door in an attempt to rush them, but rather slammed his fist down upon the ramp controls.
With a solemn hiss, the ramp retracted - drawing protest from the politicians within.
"If they wish to stay, so be it - we must get to our people." he demanded.
The pilot, however, was having none of this - causing the Vampyre to ignite his saber. In one deft move, the pilot was felled and the blade was levied against his younger, and far less spirited, co-pilot. "Launch. NOW!" he demanded. The co-pilot stammered, nodded, and fired up the engines. At once, the shuttle ascended - so quickly that sparks flew as its form dragged against the ground. The alteraction happened so quickly that attempting to stop it would have yielded no different result. And as the vessel ascended into the heavens, Agravain breathed a sigh of relief. His saber extinguished and he settled his gaze upon the datapad, intent on sending a message home.
He would never get the chance. There was more than one reason for the delay - the first being the Queen, the second being the monumental Armada in orbit. The battle yet raged - and there was no safe window for departure.
By the time the co-pilot realized, it was already too late. He cried out. Agravain looked up from his device - just in time to see turbolaser fire raining down upon him.
He and the Viceroys aboard shared a single thought - for a man's final thoughts should be of home.

It's pure chaos.

Ashes rained down on them, shrill screams filled the air, as did the stink of burning flesh, wood, and stone. Ancient structures that had withstood the tests of time were brought to their knees and terrified civilians mobbed around the rescue transports.

Briana stared at the world she once loved, hardly able to keep track of everything that was happening around her as she followed closely behind her Master. Images flooded through her mind; individual members of her family with one of these beasts hovering over them, teeth and claws at the ready.

Dread seeped deep into her veins, and as the first wave of enemies fell, another wave immediately seemed to fill in the ranks behind those. Physical pain was not something new to her, but even still, she felt the muscles in her arms tiring, aching beyond anything she’d ever felt as her mind returned to the battle in front of her. Her attacks had grown stronger and more ferocious as she’d drifted off into her thoughts, and crimson snaked down her dominant arm.

She was unsure if the blood was hers, or if it belonged to someone else.

“On me,”

Briana heard the yell, breaking concentration to glance over at the man waving for them to follow. Her foot slipped through her vertical strike, body hitting down on the ground with a solid thud, forcing the air from her lungs.

This was it, she thought, her heart racing with fear, knowing there was seconds before she was overtaken.

But, then… nothing.

Opening her ocean blue eyes, she saw Valery positioned between her and a familiar face... or shadow.

“Hisashi!” the relief in her voice was evident, the young Sal-Soren swelling with hope. His presence was the confirmation she needed. Her family was still alive out there.

Courage cloaked her shoulders and a fresh new determination steeled in her to keep going.

Quickly, Briana scrambled back to her feet, leaving plumes of dust behind her.

“More than a friend, he is family. Hisashi can help us escape… friend of yours?” she asked with a wry grin, sprinting over to the man who’d called out to them before, expecting that the shadow canine would follow.

“Hisashi, we have women and children here with us that we need to get to any remaining transports. Can you show us the quickest path ahead?”

Doing her best to control her descent, Allyson Locke realized her mistake of letting Taiia's hand go. She wasn't very good at this type of control, but thankfully Kyyrk was paying attention to his surroundings. The sudden deceleration of her fall hit her like a trunk, knocking the wind from her lungs. Her controlled descent allowed the Spy to watch as the creature absorbed her light arrows. It seemed to still be in pain from them, but the way the Force seemingly corrupted against its flesh. There had never been something like this before. Even with Carnifex or the Zombie herders, she's run across with the Maw.

The Force light hurt them, but it hurt here and became something else.

Allyson landed as gracefully as she could on her feet, but there wasn't much time for her to nock another arrow. Beasts continued to attack while the giant monstrosity she had fired at continued. Making her way over the devastation of the port, Allyson summoned another arrow and fired it towards a pack of beasts that threatened a group finishing their boarding of the shuttles. The light arrow flew towards its target, splitting into 3 smaller arrows and finding its way between the pack's eyes. Everything was a mess, and Allyson couldn't fathom a way out of it. Chaos burned, surrounding them, and a part of her wondered if Taiia had known this was going to happen; maybe this was why she didn't want to disappear into the core.

"Go Allyson, Taiia will need your help elsewhere. I'll distract the beast for you to escape." Kyyrk's voice cracked through the overwhelming disaster around them. Looking at him, she took a moment to think about his offer. If she could run, she'd be able to be with Taiia. It meant that if they were to die today, at least she would be able to see her one last time. While this sounded ideal for the lovesick hero, something had called her here.

The Corellian shook her head and smirked as she pulled another arrow from the Force and fired it towards a charging monstrosity. "And let you have all the fun?" She quipped, moving closer to his position. "Anyways, even if I wanted to leave, Taiia never had a free moment to show me much of Naboo. So you're stuck with me." Allyson shrugged and gave the man a wink; at least if she was going to die, she'd go out herself.

Looking towards the larger beast, the one that seemed to be more sentient than the others demanded their attention. He had been the target she saw from above, but as she saw before, her arrows did nothing to quell his approach. The weapon raised high, the Spy braced herself for what was to come next. Fully expecting some sort of blast of dark energy, the sword slammed into the ground, causing her footing to shake. What came next was unexpected. A blast deafened the madness around them. Instinct took over, and Allyson stepped back to dive behind a partially collapsed wall. Chunks of ferrocrete crashed against the barricade, "You've got to be kidding me," Allyson mumbled under her breath. When she stopped hearing the collision of debris, she looked to Kyyrk, "Uh, I'll distract, you do something about what he's got in his hand?" The weapon was going to be the biggest hurdle they would have to face. Its sheer size was enough to level a building, as the display proved. Poking her head out, Allyson pushed herself, focusing on the Force light once more; an arrow formed, firing off and like before splitting into several as they aimed to pelt the beast in several places along his body. If anything to be an annoyance, that would allow Kyyrk any opportunity.

Arianna and the Model 3's slashed and slashed at the Abominations, with her Lightsaber in an aggressive, chaotic frenzy, sinking deep into a profound bloodlust as she cut down various demons coming out of the portal.

The Model 3's were all over the city fighting now, the Skeletal, infamous War Droids that had slaughtered almost every Bryn'adul in the Super Construct at Danuta ripping into the Demons and invaders with abandoned. A cluster of Model 3's entrenched in any street made it very difficult for the Demons or those taking advantage of the Unmaker's plunderers to advance, and thus, increased flow of fleeing Civilians. Her flesh shuddered as she ripped them apart by with her blade, wanting only more blood, more death, almost foaming at the mouth to get to the next cut, thoughts covered by a sheen of red, red Saberstaff constantly moving and shearing body parts from Torso.

Meanwhile, as per her instructions, the Model 3 units around her had been taking the blood and body parts, arranging them in specific, complex patterns.

Arianna leapt back, flesh shuddering as a Demon swiped at her. A shield water blocked it, followed by a watery tendril springing from that shield, grabbing the Demon's neck and snapping it.

Arianna reveled in the slaughter, and especially reveled in decimating those criminal elements that had come to loot Naboo of its wealth. She was angry at them for reasons she didn't understand, wanting only to slaughter and slaughter until there were none left. A hissed spell from her lips brought multiple lightning bolts down upon the beasts that came out. Formed water tentacles swiped and smashed through Demon and invader alike.

Arianna ceased her Bloodlust long enough to focus on her original purpose...

"Grandson, please hold them off..." She instructed...

"At once..." The Nuetralizer captain acknowledged, concentrating mass volleys of fire on the Demons.

Arianna, in the meanwhile, focused on the Force, and began to chant. Small little arcs of white energy arced off the arranged body parts, casting onto the edges of the portal, trying to weaken it's integrity...

The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday

Duran coughed, blood splattering onto his armor, as he sat against the collapsed wall, his hands slowly moving to his helmet, unlocking it before he threw it to the side, breathing in the air around him as he looked around at the waves of creatures that were being held back as best as possible by the multitude of defenders on Naboo.

All he could think of was all the things he had done to get where he was, of all he had left behind to protect the people there. Duran had spent his life becoming the soldier he was that day and had seen plenty lose their lives in countless battles and wars. He was just another number, another statistic that would be quoted in some speech if anyone even made it out of there alive.

Some would remember the man that had given everything for the protection of the Confederacy, those who would make it off-world and survive the fall. He knew that his memory would last with some for the rest of their lives, but he knew many would forget the soldier, as all are soon taken by time.

Duran watched as the large bestial creature was taken down by some force, his mind was blanking too much to truly focus on the battle that raged around him, he struggled for every breath. The soldier had been left there, the squad he had fought with having long since left the man to bleed out onto the streets of Naboo, he knew they would've tried to save him if it wasn't for the situation they were in.

His eyes focused for a moment as the flames began to swarm their way towards him, their wrath indiscriminate as it slithered like a snake spreading as fast as a rushing river as seemingly everything before him was engulfed in the flame that this creature had produced.

Soon the soldier was engulfed in the flames, the last licks of life trickling from his body as he took his last shaky breath.

Williams breath was heavy, the sweat and blood dripped from his body as he stood there, hunched over like a creature, his eyes narrowed towards the monsters that scurried before him, raising his arms he slew them in swift blows, his body grew weary, cuts and wounds covered his torso, even his uniform sat in tatters.

Come now, you know that you are on your last legs, if you truly want them to survive, let me take the reigns, I will save them, I will save them, ALL. He heard it, the voice of Horak-mul crept into his head as he stood there, every ounce of his power drained from the sheer number of netherworld beings that he had to contend with.

William looked toward the sky, his breath shaky as he closed his eyes, he knew that he had nothing more to give, but he knew if he did not continue on with the fight there would be more countless deaths. He knew if he did this he could be lost forever, but he hoped that Hulak-mul would grant his last request.

His being glowed whilst a new stream of energy reinvigorated him, his eyes glowing a more fierce red as he opened them wide his eyes narrowing towards the beasts before him. His form moving as swift as a panther he sliced the throats of the beings before him, watching them crumble before him.

The battle was renewed he fought tooth and nail, taking down countless hordes of the creatures once more, a wailing noise rousing him from the bloodlust as he watched a large creature fall from the sky, landing upon the earth out of sight. William knew that something was happening just beyond his vision, but he did not know exactly what.

Before he knew it flames swept across the land before him, even the foe that he was in battle with was caught in the flames as they raced towards his form, in an instant he created a bubble over him, the flames licking over the protective barrier as they raced off behind him towards more of the beings of the nether.

Without hesitation he used his ability in the force to capture these flames, diverging them from the parts of the city and out towards uninhibited zones around him. To others, it would seem as if the flames had hit a large wall and split off in different directions, but at the heard of the wall was William, at least what was left of him.

The dark orange saber hummed in the air loudly as Dreidi inhaled deeply and thought about her next move. She was deciding to be in the thick of combat, but she wasn't sure how to approach this. Asaraa hadn't really trained her for big invasions, but who could have truly trained her enough for events like the ones going on. Dreidi was confident that no one suspected that the CIS would come under threat or attack, it was a safe haven, it was her safe haven. She was going to fight hard to protect her home from the invading forces. Her mind shut down the emotions, she couldn't breakdown, even seeing the houses around torn down, the buildings that she had often seen on walks and pondered the lives of the occupants inside. Now they were just debris and ruins, her heart had sank and was broken but her mind was sharp on a single goal. Revenge. Taking on these beings and showing them why messing with her home was a bad idea.

After the strike on Rhand, Dreidi knew that she was suffering some trauma and struggles with the fact she had been in a literal orbital bombardment and barely survived. Her therapist often told her that she needed to consider taking some form of medication for the mental harm the attack had on her. However, she refused, she couldn't bare to take any more medication and would just sit there, staring at the Naboo plains thinking back to that day. She had stayed behind to fight, to save as many people as she could back then. She could have left with Kristyl and been safe but she decided to run back out into the fray and risk her life. Something she had clearly never learnt from since she was doing the exact same thing now. Here she was risking life and limb in order to fight the creatures and try saving people best she could.

As she turned a corner, Dreidi saw another creature, she growled low and threw her Lightsaber at the monster, which embedded itself in the back of the creature. Rushing forward, Dreidi could feel the Force build momentum, she had never really used Force Speed in this manner but she was racing down the street. Before she bashed straight into creature, Dreidi jumped and used the kinetic energy that she had built up in the run to power a strong kick to the monster's face. She felt the crunch in her leg as she fell back to the ground and rolled away safely. Springing back up, Dreidi pulled her Lightsaber back into her hand and stared down at the creature. It was splayed out on the ground, unconscious. She dropped her Lightsaber as she straddled the creature's chest and slammed her fist into its face over and over. Her frustrations bubbling to the surface as she just pummelled the monstrosity as hard as she could, not even using the Force to make her punches any stronger. Just surrendering to the anger for the briefest of moments before she breathed in hard. Her chest burning with need to breath, she realised she hadn't breathed during the freak out. While her hits were solid, the creature was still alive. Not for much longer, she thought as she let out a strong Force Scream that blasted against the creature's head hard. She kept the scream going till she could tell she had killed it.

Adjusting herself as she stood, there was no remorse, no mercy in her eyes about what she had done. They were just cold and calculating. She pulled her Lightsaber back in her hand and continued her search. It didn't take long for her to find another opponent, however, this one was bigger, stronger than the ones she had faced before. It didn't matter in her mind, she had killed the others, she would kill this one too. She moved forward with her attack and aimed her Lightsaber to cut the right leg of the creature. However, as she threw the blade, the creature dodged the attack and turned to face her, abandoning the victims it was already attacking. Cursing, Dreidi realised that her own skills were being met and she needed to be trickier and more creative in her fighting. It was holding something that looked like it would be a hammer though, it was no design that she had seen before. Swinging the hammer at Dreidi, she dodged the first attack with ease and narrowly avoided the second, feeling the weapon's power she knew a single hit would mean her death. Best she could do was take the weapon out of commission and then focus on dealing damage to the creature. Pulling her Lightsaber back into her hand, she twirled it several times as she thought about her plan of attack. She could attempt to yank it out of the beast's hands though she was unsure she could pull harder with the Force in comparison to its grip.

Her second option was to just set it on fire and see how much of a distraction that would cause the creature. Switching the Lightsaber to her left hand, she raised her right palm and spoke the incantation again, feeling the magick, she was able to unleash another torrent of fire that blasted the monster that was stunned, stumbling backwards. Ending the incantation, she quickly switched back to the Force and tugged on the hammer, sending it scattering down the street. There was a moment of pride, while it wasn't anything complex she had done, she had switched confidently between the Force and Magick. Question would be could she do it outside of near death experiences really. However, she didn't have time to think on the matter, instead she rushed forward and jumped, aiming to attacking the eyes and blind this monster so she could fight with a clear advantage. Just as she went to slice, a giant fist came into view and slammed into Dreidi's body. Sending her flying backwards, the Padawan landed hard and rolled around limply. How did she miss the counter attack? Was she so focused on her victory that she let herself be blinded again? Her body ached and she could feel several ribs were cracked. Setting her on the backfoot even harder now.

Wincing and gasping for breath, Dreidi grunted and cursed at herself, she needed to be strong. Stronger than she had been on Rhand, she needed to fight and win. She couldn't run away, not again, never again. Rising to her feet, she swayed slightly and slowly steadied herself looking over to her opponent which seemed to be laughing and sadistically enjoying her suffering. Something that just fuelled her strength more, she inhaled, assessed her injuries which there were a number but she didn't think any of them were too bad, bar the broken ribs. Igniting her Lightsaber once again, she moved forward and while she was slower in her movements, her actions were careful and deliberate. Able to avoid the worst of several attacks leaving her with minor cuts and several bad bruises while she sliced and diced the creature in return. Her first step towards victory was when she cut its right arm off at the elbow. This gave her the confidence to attack harder and stronger, cutting the left arm off, then a leg before she used Force Scream to disorient the monster and jumped to slit the throat. Killing the creature instantly. When she landed, her ankle gave way and she could feel it scream in pain, not broken but not happy with her either. Though her whole body was screaming at this point.

She knew she needed to stop, to leave but she couldn't give up, She wouldn't give up on her home. Where would she go if she left Naboo? As she stepped forward, she spotted two guards that Asaraa had under her command, cursing, she knew why they were here. They were looking for her, during all of this, Asaraa would have sent guards to find her. However, Dreidi tried to outrun them, a mistake since they barely looked harmed as she was a broken mess. They caught up to her quickly and stopped her walking forward.

"Hands off me, I am going to continue fighting. You can't stop me." Dreidi snarled, she sounded more like a feral animal at this point.

The guards looked at each other then one turned to Dreidi, "your Master insisted that you come with us, and the state you are in, you cannot continue to fight unless you wish to die here!" The guard spoke with nervous energy.

Dreidi stared at him, her eyes stared into his soul as she gripped her Lightsaber tightly, "my Master sent guards to stop me doing my duty. If she wanted me to stop fighting then she should have come here herself, Asaraa knows that I can take care of myself." Dreidi was attempting to act as if her injuries were minor, downplay till the adrenaline wears off.

"We must insist Lady Xeraic, you must come with us. We will take you by force if we must." The guard spoke, his tone serious and a slight threat though nervous of her reaction as well.

"Hmph, I don't think you could take me by force if you trie- Hey! Set me down!" Dreidi shouted as the guards easily carried the frail Dreidi and ensured that she could not wriggle free without causing herself more pain. She let out another Force Scream in frustration, pain finally taking its toll on her body as she was carried to safety. Forced to leave the place she called home.

Her vision was limited, the ick covering her visor obstructing her views as she tried to stretch and push against the bench that she was pinned behind. The sound of gunfire, screaming, and utter chaos blending with the comms going haywire with calls for help or screams filled her ear.

Her concentration pulled this way and that made it difficult to filter everything as fire filled the sky.

Her stomach dropped as the little window she had to see seemed to get further and further away. She felt suddenly very small in the world. A creeping feeling of familiarity causing her limbs to freeze up. Dread took a slow hold as it pushed out her will to fight. Like a slow dip of the toes into a frozen lake.

She couldn't fight against the consuming feeling of having been here before.

The rational part of her mind barely reminding her she had never been to Naboo before as her vision blurred. Blended and shifted. The ichor shifting from its splatter to jagged rocks and debris in an unsettling hue of orange and crimson.

A face dominated her vision. Arms around her as it felt like the world was crushing her suddenly. The sting of tears in her eyes causing every part of her body to tense. The fine hairs rising in equal parts fear and need to run. To get away. To find someone. To reach out for something that felt intimately familiar and so very foreign.

Her mind playing tricks as she found herself caught in a memory of a thing once forgotten.

Not seeing the real, her now tiny arms struggled against the mechanical arms. In her mind struggling against the body that cradled her. The pinned feeling of the bench rubble piled atop her own body and her protectors. She wanted to scream but couldn't find her voice.

Choked in realization of then, and in the real world now, that she was going to die.

Her mental image was stuck on Corellia. During the cataclysm that had torn everything from her. Pushed down and forgotten until she relived the experience.

She choked a breath, fumbling in her spot behind the bench, not seeing the real as she tried to wrench herself free of the memory. The body unmoving as she tried to get the arms locked onto its frame free of her being.

Panic was quickly setting in as she struggled to catch her breath. Struggled to get free. Struggled so she could live. To escape.

To see someone.

Her voice failed her still as she drew short and inconsistent breaths. She had to reach out, had to scream. The urge to accept her fate trying to overpower the will to live as she struggled on. Something nudged at the back of her mind.

A familiar power that held a hand out in her memory. Salvation if she only took that offered hand she'd ignored for so long. Something she hadn't acknowledged until someone had stated it plainly to her ringside.

She reached out on the only avenue she had left. The force beckoning her to call aid from a familiar thread that hadn't been plucked since her lost memory came rearing its ugly head. The warm feeling of a familiar hug. The soft tinkle of a charm as the line was cast to Allyson Locke Allyson Locke .

A name that was new and old sprang forth.

'Al, help me! Please!? Where are you!?' She reached out hopelessly in the force. Words she had failed to say so long ago when she was numb, shocked, and unable to think as someone collected her and sent her off as a refugee to Stewjon.

A call for help that had finally been made 15 years late.

He knew that scent.
As the beast turned away to shred the monster that had attacked it, Kyyrk paused. He had known this being before. A vision crossed his mind. A ship, traveling at full speed. Ramming into the opposing vessel. A contract cut short. Kyyrk recognized the scent of the being before him. Lost on Naalol. Or so they had believed. Kyyrk had cheated death enough times to know that death was not the end. But it would seem the being before him had paid a steep price.

"Sergei."
Voph spoke quietly, barely a whisper as he watched the beast tear into the other. That changed things. If there was a chance he could save his once-ally, he had to try. He looked at Allyson, hearing something calling out through the Force. A faint whisper in the cacophony that was the battle. A plea. "I'll handle this. Your destiny lies elsewhere, Master Locke. May the Force be with you. And keep Taiia safe for me." Then, as if he had expected it, the ground around them exploded with the force of the monster's blow. Kyyrk's hand outstretched, and the small fragments of rubble whirled about him to create a shield.

Allyson had one final idea for him, a distraction. An opening to do what needed to be done. Though he did not know the spy well, nor she him, it was evident from his tone that he did not expect to survive this battle. He looked down at the blade in his hands, and deactivated it. Kyyrk closed his eyes once more, preparing himself for what was to come. It was as if the world had slowed around him, and he became acutely aware of each and every imperceptible detail. The Force welled within him, waiting for the right moment. When the beast was almost upon him, Kyyrk threw his arms away from him, a massive surge of Light radiating out from his position, sending stone and shrapnel along with the kinetic blast of pure energy.

His blade shone brightly once more, a blade now protruding from both ends. But this was no ordinary blade. In fact, the blade was not that of a lightsaber at all. What shone from either end of the hilt was a beam of pure light. Kyyrk was in no position to cleanse the darkness. But he could burn it away. It was his only chance.
"SERGEI." His voice boomed across the Plaza, aided by the Force. Burning was his last resort. If this truly was the fall of the Confederacy, they would need all the help they could get.

Kyyrk anticipated that the beast would attack again, and so summoned another ray of light about his off hand, preparing his light-blade in the other. He crouched defensively. The Sword the beast wielded screamed out to Kyyrk. It, as much as its wielder, was alive. Kyyrk could see the thousands upon millions of souls held within. If he could get the Sword away from Sergei, he may have a chance.

A chance.

The situation all around them was deteriorating by the moment the enemy was seemingly endless meanwhile both droid and organic were being whittled down by the horde. Taiia shouted out a command for all nearby to hear "Fall back to the palace and hold your line there, bar the doors for as long as they will hold." she stepped forward and turned off her lightsabers ignoring the protests of those around her, even those of the droids as they slowly began to follow her directive.

The redhead turned off her lightsabers and let them fall to the ground, light began to form in the palm of her hand before flattening and lengthening to take the shape of a bow. Before she had met Allyson the idea of a bow would have been odd, now it seemed natural. She silently lifted the bow and as she grabbed the string and pulled back on it an arrow slowly took shape starting from the tips of her fingers on the bowstring. The point of the arrow glowed brightly, brimming with the power of the force yet Taiia poured more power into it.

All the while the enemies were not idle they rushed forward toward Taiia eager to fill the vacuum left by Naboo's defenders as they withdrew to the palace. Perhaps some of them understood what they were walking into but regardless they had little time to react as the arrow was loosed golden light arced across the palace courtyard before slamming into the first of its victims, however, it did not stop there it went through the first, the second and any behind them though as it did it began to widen slightly carving a path of destruction through the enemy though it seemed to only slow them for a moment.

Taiia's eyes moved to the direction she sensed Allyson in, she had intended for them to both be here together but something had caught Allyson's attention. Seeing she was fine at least for the moment emerald eyes turned back to the enemy as they seemed to be slowly reorganizing. A small voice touched her mind, gentle and familiar. She was not in the habit of listening to strange voices but this one, was important.

With a heavy breathing ravaging her she turned. Diana was covered with the guts and life blood of her enemies as her ragged breathing showed her stamina decreasing. Her arms tightened, bolts and flesh alike. As she tightened her grip around her blade and pike, she felt drenched already in sweat and viscera but she turned to the girl. She seemed so small as she took her first life. It wasn't fair... no one should have to endure this but yet she did. Her position in this galaxy large would be that of a bringer of peace with heavy hand. Or whatever else those future hands would carry.

Diana took a step. Her metal hand stretched out she embraced the girl and whispered in a soft voice to her. Soft words to remind her they had no time, and that it would be ok. She needed to go on. There were people to save that needed them. As her voice steeled she muttered words of encouragement and let her go. A distinct amount of hope for this girl steeled in her mind. Not once had she had the chance to look upon someone and see herself. But one day this girl would be strong and sure of herself. Today was yet to be that day, and unlikely to become it.

She turned. Before they could enter the building a pair of bulking monstrosities stood before them. It looked as if horror manifested. It was unlikely to be anything nature intended as such. Tendrils long enough to wrap their own body, girthy and snaking between the slug like body. Engulfed by a skeleton that seemed to bear a resemblance to that of an insect. The woman felt nauseous. These monsters were not one she wished to engage with. But she had too. Unsure if the other girl with her would be able to at that moment.

She let out a war cry. An unflattering collection of guttural screams as the eyes that glowed with the force turned white. Her hair turned from the red to grey as her skin faded to a pale ungodly white. Her hands swiped the air with lightsabers in hand. The two blades almost like batons as the woman pulled from her reservoir of energy. Expending a large amount of her leftover energy to pull her will into reality.

Thin ice formed in the air. Like caltrops they appeared and grew in size. Piercing the soft skin and invading the bodies of the monsters as she stood before them. Her visage that of a banshee she watched as the skin of the slugs turned to ice, piercing their insides and biting away at their tissue as it decayed from the cold. As soon as she did it it disappeared and the woman fell to a knee. With that her energy was all but depleted. It was beyond unreasonable to have used this much power but she felt she had need to. Show the girl that she was safe... and maybe even proof to her that one day she would be able to carry this burden herself.

Location: Naboo, Theed City Streets.
Belongings: Knights Obsidian Leathers | Asaraa's first Lightsaber.
Companion: Diana Sophistica Diana Sophistica .

Objective: Defend the Capital.

It was all so much to bear, the weight of an entire city being ravaged by an enemy unknown to the young teenaged girl who seemed to be caught up within all of the chaos. While combat had been an inevitability, Kris hadn't expected it to come nearly so soon. She hadn't felt prepared for it.
Fire swept throughout the city streets, an eruption of heat, flame and debris wiping out entire storefronts and city streets full of fleeing people, like an endless explosion that, from Kristyl's position, she could only look on in horror and wonder what sort of monstrosity had unleashed such devastation. She didn't want to have to find out.

The hand of her Master touched down upon her shoulder, and all that was passing her by so tremendously fast, suddenly slowed as Kristyl turned back to look up at Diana Sophistica Diana Sophistica with a look of shock, uncertainty and fear for the moment. Diana was a much stronger woman than she herself was, and their time recently on Pii III had proven the Emerald Flame's command of battle throughout their first days training together.
To be reminded of her company was reassuring but most surprising was the brief embrace and the words offered to the younger of the pair; Diana hadn't struck Kristy as the overly compassionate sort, certainly not one for comforting hugs and that sort of thing. It would be something that Kris wouldn't forget, something to be ever so grateful for where all else seemed lost within conflict.

There would be no time to linger, nor to offer her Master any due thanks for the support. Diana was forced to turn back on the encroaching menace while Kristyl pushed herself to recollect her nerves, and then follow on after her. There were people suffering all throughout the City from the sounds of screams and anguish that flooded the clouded sky above. Burning buildings and sounds of weapons fire made it difficult to piece together what the situation looked like overall. Were they winning? It didn't feel like it. Why had they been attacked and who was behind this hell?

A discharge of light and energy caused her to look back to her Master, who dispatched two more horrid looking monsters in a display of force, unlike anything Kristyl had experienced before. It was a stunning display, and yet Diana also looked terribly exhausted. "Are you alright!?" She asked, rushing to Diana's side before seemingly deciding that there wasn't time to sit and talk it out; "We can't stay here..." she added, taking a hold of her Master by the wrist and trying to encourage her to keep moving in her apparently weakened state. Kris didn't want anything happening to Diana so soon after just starting to get to know her. People were dying out there, and she didn't wish for Diana to be one of them.

From what Talohn could tell, Leea and the rest of the crew were hopefully on the way. He just had to hold out until the ship arrived. Defending them would be a lot easier if they were on board the ship instead of in the middle of the street. He could also hear Ruby calling for reinforcements, but he couldn't do anything. The soldiers with him were trying their hardest, but Talohn knew the line wouldn't hold without him. They were surrounded on all sides right now, and explosives were getting low. He opens his comm channel to respond to Ruby. "This is Talohn Verd! I can't get to you without the line breaking! Just try to hold off a bit longer! I have a ship coming in that'll open me up some freedom." He spoke into his helmet's built in holocom as he made his way to the other end of the circle he was holding to stand above one of the courched down solders. After taking a few seconds to aim, he lets a hail of bullets fly at the legs of the undead horde, reusing the strategy they had agreed on. When they started falling, he pulls yet another detonator off of his belt and chucks it into the horde. The resulting explosion plasters the alley wall with crimson red as various body parts rain from the sky above them. "What a fuckin mess." he hisses to himself. Normally, he would draw enjoyment from such an explosion. Right now? He was too stressed to enjoy anything.

He then turned around just in time to see a flying implike creature swoop in and carry off one of the men before the shotgunner could properly blast it. Sharp talons rend, leabing the lower half on the floor while the torso is carried off, the legs simply crumbling to the ground. he instantly aims his rifle once more and opens fire, mowing down six of them before they can push through the new gap between the men. "Dammit shotgunner keep your eye on the SKY!" The situation was getting hopeless. They were attracting the attention of bigger and bigger predators. He wagered he only had about five minutes left before the line broke. The men were getting tired. The cathar once again opens up the comms. "If I don't get help here, I AM GOING TO LOSE MY FUCKING SH-" It was at that moment in which words came through directly to his channel that made relief wash over him. he wasn't just get reinforcements, he was getting Shuklaar. "FINALLY. You my friend are getting SO MUCH catharese wine for this." He excitedly sputters into his commlink in response.

It wasn't long after that the cavalry arrived. A hailfire of plasma and dusruptors thinning the horde and clearing the streets, allowing Talohn to lower his weapon for the first time since this cataclysm started. He allows himself a sigh of relief as he takes the current magazine out of his gun and loads in a fresh one. Shuk lands beside him just as he cocks the rifle. he smiles under his helmet. "Late? If I died, you would have been late. And....I wouldn't exactly call this a mandalorian welcome. I was using anti kiltik horde tactics. This was actually a catharese welcome."

Already, more were arriving. it was never ending madness on these streets. It's then that the horizon caught ablaze, the ground shaking as the dragon made impact with the ground. He could see it, a tital wave of fire making it's way towards them. Ruby, he had to get Ruby. "Shuk! The flames are coming. I need your crew to knock over those two buildings. It'll make the fire go over us." He points at three large towers in the path of the fire. "I have to handle something." He hands off his TDW off to one of the nearby men. It would only weigh him down. "I'll be right back." The telltale sound of a lightsaber igniting is audible, along with a blue glow as he draws the blade from his belt with a twirl.

"Talohn Atar coming in." Says, speaking into ruby's comm channel. What he was about to do would expend a lot of energy, but he had to be fast. The force flows through him as he intensifies the use of his force speed. At the same moment, his rocket boots ignite and he instantly blasts into the air in a barely visible blur. Then, silence.

After a second of silence, those in the vacinity would hear it. Whistling that echoed through the air over the screams and gunfire. After a moment, it would be visible. A suit of gold and silver mandalorian armor coming down at such speed that the air resistance was visible. Ruby, though mostly blind, would be the first to hear an audible crunch as the cathar once agan made impact with the ground, boots absolutely pulverizing flesh as the beast that had her pinned is crushed to literal bits. Not even a second after, Talohn's lightsaber slashes outwards in an arc, clearing out everything around him as the blade goes through them like butter. With a split second of the horde being clear, the crushgaunt in Talohn's free left hand activates, and he grabs the bench, tearing off the part that's holding Ruby in place. Once she's free, he takes a stick out of his pocket and throws it on the floor to activate a deployable cube shaped shield that surrounds them. He does it just in the nick of time, as the fire washes over them moments later. The dome protects them while the horde surrounding them is consumed in flames. "Friend saved." Talohn speaks over the comms to Shuk, panting slightly. He then offers his hand to help Ruby up. should she accept it. "Sorry I kept ya waiting. Take a second to regain your senses, and then we'll get to the others."

Servants of Hisashi: Hellhounds
NABOO - GROUNDSIDE

The Canine's ears perked up.

For a moment, a Jedi stepped between the shadow beast and the young Sal-Soren. Hisashi did not take this as a threat - but rather had his beast decline its head in greeting. He was not a threat, nor was the extension of his will. Thankfully enough, Briana was able to quickly provide valuable context. She jogged over to his shadowbeast's form, and the canine briefly nudged her leg. Dogs had a mind of their own sometimes, that was certain.

She continued forward, guiding the beast over to a group of survivors. By now an all-out war had erupted, obstructing their paths. And if the comm channels were any indication, the main spaceport was lost. These people needed to get off world and fast. Briana turned to the beast - to Hisashi - for the way forward. The beast dipped its nostrils to the ground momentarily, sniffing as its master pondered.

The spaceport is lost. The hospital is our only chance. They have transports for high priority situations.

How did he know this? Once upon a time, a young Sal-Soren decided to nibble on something they were allergic to. One expensive transport ride later and they were being treated on the moon. If luck was in their favor, those same transports were still present. Follow me!

The beast bounded forward, attempting to take the path of least resistance. Along the way they'd find plenty of creatures to fend off - but at least this would be lighter than plowing a path through the largest battlegrounds.

NABOO - EE'EVERWEST ESTATE

Hisashi himself did not have the luxury of standing by to monitor the progress.

Upon reaching the frontmost entrance, he was greeted with a rather gruesome sight. A monumental serpent of pure white was devouring a vessel whole. The shinobi could hear the cries of the wait staff who were trapped within. Baring his fangs against the beast, he unleashed a focused column of flame. The searing heat roiled harmlessly off of the serpent's scales - but it was enough that its attention was turned towards Hisashi and not the staff.

"COME ON!"

NABOO - EE'EVERWEST ESTATE

Tunnels. Escape. Got it.

Abel did not need to tell his ashen-haired student what to do. Over their time together, there was an unspoken understanding. A bond. In times of peace - when her mind was not her adversary - they could swap glances and burst into peals of laughter. He could raise an eyebrow and she'd know exactly where to go, what to say, or how to proceed. Or vice versa. The pair were cut from the same cloth. Truly understood each other. And thus, when Osenia rushed over to the statue, Luna was close behind. Her saber was ignited - defending the noble and getting the feth offworld was the play.

As for the Knight, he found himself outmatched.

It was an admission that burned against his heart and soul. He could have fought any man - or number of men. But this? This was beyond him. Beyond his strength. Beyond his ability to counter. The most they could do is survive and escape. Even now, monstrosities crept forth from the Estate, bearing down upon them as they attempted to dive into the tunnels. Osenia activated the electron wall - but some could simply fly over. It was a nightmare. Abel inhaled a breath.

"Luna. Illyria. Oleander. Make sure she gets out alive."

There was a finality to his voice. A wrathful acceptance. When it was his time to enter the tunnel behind them, he instead closed the path behind them all. His lightshield and lightsaber burned in defiance as he stood vigil over their escape. The Fangs of Hell roared against him, and he roared right back. His blade sang an angry song, carving a symphony of bloody notes. Beast after beast began to fall. Carved by his blade. Crused by his power. Bashed by his defense. Yet more came - and more fell.

If survival was all he could do - then he would make sure they lived.

UNMAKER
NABOO - ORBIT

Can you feel that?

A tone as wrathful as a star's inferno burned within the Gen'Dai's mind. Darkness as absolute as a black hole rattled through his veins. The colossal being coughed. Stammed. Clutched at his chest for a reprieve - yet there was none to be found. Gath knew this feeling. He had been subject to it once before - and on that day, he knelt before the master. But why was this happening now? Was the Unmaker displeased with their progress? They had done everything right. Everything in accordance with his will. Why was he made to suffer now? "W-Why?" he wheezed, attempting to find air. The Unmaker's wicked voice spoke yet again.

My old adversary stands below. And yet you stand here, playing with the enemy's toys.

Gath's eyes widened. Darkness clutched the edges of his vision. "We did not know. We-"

That is alright. I will take it from here. Shhh. Shhh. Rest.

The Gen'dai's lungs burned. His heart raced - and slowed. His form descended to the fleshy earth, thundering down with finality. The digital child covered its mouth in surprise. Shock. Fear. Gath was gone - robbed from existence. Yet the Unmaker's will remained. It was such a waste to let a body like his go unused. And thus, the Darkness seeped into his veins all the more. Soaked into his muscles. Contorted. Twisted. Molded. All into a shape far more fitting.

The Unmaker rose.

This will do. His thoughts echoed within the chamber, as if uttered by a mortal tongue. Each syllable was as a thunderous roar, and the child retreated. Cowered. The Unmaker's burning eyes settled upon her.

Don't be afraid. I don't bite.

He cackled as emerald flames coalesced about his form. In an instant, he was gone. But where?

NABOO - GROUNDSIDE

You always did favor the bow.

A voice thundered above the sound of battle. And above, the heavens broke once more. A final breach opened - and from the abyss slipped forth the Unmaker. He stood as a titan, towering over even the tallest man. There was no flesh, only bone. And yet, mere bone crushed the ground beneath his feet. Monstrous steps were taken forward, rattling the earth as he strode. And both eyes, burning crimson with malice, settled upon the form of a woman. A bold, defiant, and infinitely stupid woman. A literal pain in his side for millennia.

Too stubborn to stay dead.

This time, you will not live again. This time, I will end you.

The seething promise was met with an accusatory finger. A skeletal appendage aimed directly at Taiia Mataan Taiia Mataan . The Darkness obeyed his whim - a storm of lightning burst forth to rid all Creation of Medjai.

Even as the voice spoke to her, Taiia could feel the rising darkness of the threat that came from beyond. It was ancient and beyond any of their ability to contend with. she drew a breath and turned her eyes above her as the sky was rent open. What emerged was something she could never have fathomed, yet she knew who and what it was. The voice continued to speak with her, only within herself could it be heard. That Medjai was still near, was reassuring but what unnerved the obsidian lord was the instruction she was being given.

The light that had been shaped into a bow seemed to break and shatter into countless pieces in the palm of her hand, quietly the redhead descended the palace steps toward the Unmaker. Taiia closed her eyes for but a moment to steady herself yet never stopped her descent. The enemy ahead of her would no doubt sense the rising power within the obsidian lord. Taiia brought her right hand up in front of her and opened her eyes before placing her left hand over it. There was a bright pulse of light as her right hand tightened around a newly formed hilt she slid her left hand away from it. As this was done the light coalesced into a golden blade.

She paused and waited, the attack came swiftly tendrils of lightning were racing across the gap between them, the sword was still raised as she placed her left hand against the blade. There was a tilt of the head as the lightning slammed into the blade, a small force barrier was utilized in conjunction with the sword to deflect the lightning in multiple directions. When the attack subsided she moved quickly, flipping the sword around swung it from the ground in an upward arc, as she did the sword emitted a blade of light that shot from its edge toward the Unmaker, seeking to split the being in half.

"You have done enough harm, leave while you still can." the warning was not hollow, Medjai had a plan and Taiia's power was growing by the moment. Could she explain what was happening? No, not in the slightest but she was doing what Medjai assured her would keep her and her friends alive.

It took time and experience to manage one's powers well. It wasn't within the realm of Diana's mind to let the girl see her weakened. But she did, and she had to. A warped face looked at the ground as the whole situation seemed to shift before her eyes. It wasn't that Diana wasn't used to being exhausted... but this was new. It was so new to be this tired that she wanted to sleep almost. But as she heard the voice of her Padawan she looked at the learner with eyes that seemed to have a faded glow. Her eyes, one green and one faded by scars looked upon the girl and watched her with a desire to look tough. But as she failed that she just nodded.

"I am alright. Just need a moment... we have to leave... now."

She made the decision in a split second. It wasn't going to do anyone any good if they died. They couldn't face the armada and Kristyl wasn't ready yet to defend them both. It took the rattling of her arm as she looked back down. The connections within her mechanical arm failed and from the rapid frost it had now done something that had not happened before. Springs loaded themselves and cracked. Gears found themselves hard to remain intact as a tear formed where the arm met the flesh. Her skin teared in small blisters around the place where the cold had frozen the metal. It took only a second and as fear spread through her body the metal of her body turned useless. Her arm shook off like a toy as she stood on a leg and a glorified peg-leg. Her feet gave no feedback as the rubble underneath it painted the never ending struggle soon to befall her. Every step unsupported, she leaned on the girl.

"I'm sorry... you will get to practice with my weight for a bit... lets get the Hare. Use whatever you can. Be safe. Lets move out."

It took a little effort but with the remains of the academy behind them, she vocalized to her communicator, with a voice that sounded more sure of herself then she felt she spoke:

"Captain to Red Hare. Ensure pick up with support systems full. Full danger so ensure Blue Octopus takes my primary function upon arrival."
