Bespin Brawl OOC

I apologize in advance, but I believe that you misunderstood some parts of my last post when writing your own. Beast fired three shots from the underbarrel grenade launcher (which is loaded with thermal rounds) of her blaster rifle at/around/behind the barrier where FN-999 was taking cover. Basically, what she's doing is trying to negate his cover by arcing her shot over it or letting the splash damage from the micro-grenades effect him when they explode upon impact. For reference, they kind of act like a noobtube from MW2, although semiautomatic.

I would also like to know how FN-999 managed to dodge the three shots that Beast fired from her grenade launcher. For one, Beast immediately fired three shots from her grenade launcher after seeing FN-999 jump behind cover. She took no other actions between the time when she fired her first 3 shots from her Jackal ACR and the period when she fired 3 shots from her underbarrel grenade launcher. Also, when FN-999 was behind cover, I recall that he was assessing his injuries rather than looking to see if Beast was still firing.

I don't plan to bring any troops (aside from Beast). I'm not sure what [member="Tobias Wrynn"] is doing on his end, but I imagine that he isn't planning to bring more troops as well.

I'm just starting to lose track of who's doing what, and I deeply apologize. It's hard to maneuver my trooper to dodge a rifle, grenade launcher, and then a bloody giant creature while maintaining plot armor. In my attempt, I tried to simplify things, while overlooking that you had used grenades. Instead, I thought you had continued to fire your previous rifle, and did not detect the weapon change.

I will try to find a middle ground where FN-999 isn't wiped out by the three to six grenades coming his way and utilizes his military reflexes, while also being realistic with his condition.

Hey, you posted before your turn BTW. The posting order lists you as coming after [member="Tobias Wrynn"] (who was intended to be next), not before. It's a very good post and I don't want you to delete what you wrote, but please remember to adhere it in the future.

I apologize for the inconvenience, there merely seemed to be a post shortage, and I didn't want to be the one to kill the thread.

It's fine, I was just waiting for a post from [member="Tobias Wrynn"], who precedes me in turn order, and in his absence, it's fine to fill the space up.. But I'll get a post in today, just to even things out.

Was the gunship not inside of the hangar?

If you're using a mortar we can assume it has a high ceiling, and thusly its more than likely its a long hangar not short. Just exactly how fast is the gunship that it can turn around and blast off away from a super structure like Cloud City?

EDIT:

Also, the Bryn'adûl entered the Administrators Palace via the Apex Overlook, negligible detail - but yea.

The gunship was actually just outside the hangar's rear doors, opposite to the edge of the city, but I counted Tathra's leap as making it on anyways. Additionally, the hangar is on the outer edge of Cloud City, so even a damaged military gunship wouldn't find any issues to leave the city from that point specifically.

The geometry is the problem here. Got a bit confused as to where we all are. As you said, you left the hangar, then exited the facility to a non-descript locale. Kind of left me confused as to where everything is as you could be left, right, up down ect.

I think we're alright.
