LOA Best I Do This [Semi-LOA]

Putting this up to say that life's taken a bit of an unexpected turn over the past week, and it's been affecting my ability to post... moreso than my squirrely brain does normally, and more than my increased work hours have been an adjustment already, this month.

Y'all have been wonderfully patient with me, and I love you for that... but sadly it isn't gonna let up for the foreseeable future. With...

• my partner in the hospital awaiting bypass surgery (meaning taking the time to visit and I'll need to take on more during his recovery)

and

• my work becoming more demanding on my time, soon (I'm trying to edit my commute to make this a bit less awful)

....there's been an obvious need to alter my routines to manage everything, and for my neurodivergent self, that's no easy feat.

So, all that said, I still wanna write with everyone (I need a creative outlet for my sanity, after all!), it's just taking a little time to figure out what that looks like, given everything.

Maybe this will - gods forbid - make me write just one character...

Update:

My partner's surgery finally happened and it went well, so that scary part is out of the way!

As for me, I'm adapting slowly and have been getting on top of things. Also, with the worry about the surgery having dissipated, things are looking a little better. I feel less overwhelmed.

That said, still semi-LOA; I'm missing writing/collaborating/conspiring, so if that happens, it happens.

I lost my job middle of last month, which is a relief more than anything, 'cause the schedule I was keeping just wasn't sustainable, but other parts of my life are going well. My partner is almost entirely back up to his usual activities, and we've added three kittens to our home.

So, with many things back to whatever the heck 'normal' is, and with yonks more time on my hands, I'm returning... slowly, and keeping things small. For now that's just two characters - Rik Perris & Vizion Trozky - and a small number of threads; we'll see what I can manage to keep up with.
