  • Many types of sensors: The sensor system combines many forms of sensors into a singular compact package, giving the common soldier the capacity to have a large amount of information at their finger tips.

  • Resistant to EMP: Due to the shielded nature, and the materials used in its protective casing, the sensor system is resistant to the destructive force of EMP.

  • Can turn off: At any given time, the sensors can be turned off, or just a few types active at any given time.

  • Flash Bangs: Normal flash bangs can disrupt sensors for a time, and these are no exception.

  • Hazards: While resistant to EMP, if the user is inside places an intense electromagnetic field, or places with incredible amounts of radiation, many forms of the sensors are rendered inoperable due to the background static.

  • Can be seen: The active sensors create pulses of energy that can be tracked and seen by other sensor types.

  • Range: Due to the micronization of the sensors and the limited space, most of the sensors have a max range of 1.6 kilometers, with an effective range of one kilometer. A good number of the chemical sensors, and the like have a range of only 200 meters, and a handful of them are good only up close.

Information is the key to success. The more people can know, the more they can plan the more likely they will meet with victory. Following in this idea, the Beta-Class Sensor Suite gathers a large number of sensors and micronizes them, creating a small, portable sensor system up to date with the latest technology and advancements.

It creates a system by which a massive amount of data can be pushed upon the user at any given time. To help regulate the data, a small droid brain was integrated into it. The entire system was insulated in reinforced duraplast, used insulated wiring, and shielded circuitry to help stop damage from EMP and electrical surges and the like. However, it's range is some what limited, due to the sheer number of components, and the smaller size of most of the data gathering devices. Over all however, it is a good system, capable of filling a wide number of needs. However, it would take a lot of practice, training and getting used to, to be able to utilize it correctly.
