Meant to do this when I first joined but I got caught up in designing my character. Never really know what to say in these things, but here goes nothing!
I joined this site on a whim if you can believe that. Just finished a year long Dark-Fantasy campaign on another site and was sort of looking for a bit of a change before heading back into the realm of Gormhorst for the next installment of said campaign. A friend of mine said this site was pretty neat, I took a look, and fell in love with it!
I'll say out front I prefer fantasy settings, but Star Wars is an addiction of mine. Something about the Arthurian and Sci-Fi elements mixing together in the way they do just grabs me. Yes, I even love the Phantom Menace. That being said I think the EU material (Or Legends if you prefer to call it that now) is far better than the stuff in any of the movies. The NJO series and Thrawn books are especially great in my opinion.
Other than that? I guess I can say that I've been Rping for a long time. I love just about every type of RP. Forums are great because of the number of people you are able to interact with, but I still like running tabletop games when possible. I even LARP a bit every now and then. I'd like to do it more but I have to drive a good distance to get to the locations. Warhammer Tabletop has to be what I enjoy doing most though. Maybe not painting the game pieces, but the rest of it is awesome.
And...that's about all I can think of without delving into the cringy awkwardness of talking about my personal life. We all know no one wants to hear that....right?
