"Better not be a bunch of cows..." (open to all!)

Naboo's forces that's quite the story, admirable. What made you want to join Naboo's forces
Quite the question coming from a young lady such as herself. He would answer the woman's question, it wasn't everyday that he had conversations such as this.

"Well, my mother saw it as an opportunity to get ahead in life. That, and she didn't want me to be a politician like her so it was a mutual agreement that i sign up. The rest really, is history."

Jae Jordan, I will have to remember that for the future.

"Again, pleasure to meet you Jae." He extended his hand as well in turn for a handshake. A polite little lass as well.

Myles noticed her take her datapad out and examine it very briefly. She was looking for work too. Perhaps they could both oblige one another by spotting opportunities, heck Myles could even use another ace for a job to handle the risky maneuvers.
"I know that if i need an ace, which i more than likely will. I would like to be able to reach you. You would be able to maneuver better than I would"

He observed the look on her face; gesturing that her datapad may not have the information or data she would have liked.
"Guessing that you didn't come here for conversation huh? Well Tatooine is a job pool for pilots. I can guarantee we could find a job, or maybe i could find you one. There are bigger cantinas that would have higher traffic and more saps that would need someone with your deft hands to maneuver a ship. It has worked for me a couple of times, so there is not always a guarantee."

He wanted to be optimistic but he didn't want to make empty promises. That was the best he could do. I sure would like to take Jae on for all future jobs, but I am not even sure if future jobs will come my way.

Jae perked up immediately and without hesitation nodded her head in agreement to the idea of herself helping Myles out with any sort of mission that required a risky trick or two with manoeuvring a spacecraft. "It would be my greatest pleasure to help you out on any mission requiring an ace pilot!" She chirped, a little more excited than expected, who knew how long she'd been waiting for any sort of job opportunity?

"No I didn't plan on coming here for chit chat, I was originally hoping to get some work in whilst I was here." She sighed but continued paying attention to Myles as he proposed an intriguing and promising idea of bigger cantinas that would definitely have more to offer her, job wise. "That, sounds like a great idea. At this stage I will go anywhere for a job opportunity." She didn't feel as deflated as she did two minutes ago after looking at her blank data pad, perhaps things were finally going to get somewhat interesting around here.

"Not only am I completely bored to death and therefore requiring a job to do. I could definitely do with some money in the pocket." She laughed shortly before thinking about what she'd do with the money, assuming they managed to find a job. She knew she wanted a ship of her own. There were times when she was so desperate she sometimes considered stealing one from a hangar, more than capable of doing so. Though she decided against the stray idea, she didn't want to start getting all these bounties on her head and be known as a 'ship thief'.

It was almost solid now, Myles had another ally in the galaxy, a young ace pilot. In some ways her determination and her eagerness reminded him of himself when he was a younger lad.

"Glad to hear, I may check out Mos Eisley spaceport, may be able to find a job there perhaps?"

There wasn't really much happening in the cantina at that time, people were coming and going and there was squabble here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary. This cantina was starting to be a dead end for opportunities. Perhaps they could take a transport to Anchorhead then ship over to Mos Eisley. Myles' ship was located in a locked hangar bay here where they were. Perhaps if the lass needed a ride, he could use another ace aboard to wherever she wanted to go.

Boy she can read my mind, thats for sure. "Heh, I believe i could use some money in my pocket as well Jae. Money doesn't bring happiness but it sure damn comes close to it"

"You got a ship? If not, I have one if you would like to try for another system. Really, I am just here to dip my toes in the sand to see what's out there."

Myles didnt run into good leads usually on Tatooine, but there would be a first time for everything. He pondered more for a moment before relenting to letting the young woman speak.
@Jae Jordan

Jae was more than content with the idea of having another ally around the galaxy, though she may not join him on every mission, having another contact to turn to in dire times made her feel better, and knew Myles would always be ready to help if the case arose.

Jae nodded, liking the sound of heading to Mos Eisley spaceport, it sounded as if there would be a job or two lying around. Though to be completely honest any place would have better opportunities than the cantina she currently resided in. "Perhaps I might tag along with you to Mos Eisley spaceport, assuming that's alright with you." She got the feeling the two were quite comfortable with each others company though she didn't want to push any boundaries and seem intruding. "I have a feeling we'd be able to pick up some sort of work there."

She laughed, partly nervously and partly stalling to try and figure out an answer to his question about a ship of her own. She felt as though having a ship of your own was somewhat vital for people in her line of work, travelling from here and there and sometimes just escaping those who were pissed off at you. Jae was slightly embarrassed to not have a ship in her possession but she was definitely working towards it, as soon as she wrangled enough money that was going to be her first purchase.

"Uh, no I don't currently have a ship of my own . . .yet. That's why I've been looking for jobs preferably ones that'll pay decent, though those jobs are either normally more risky or require more skills than I am capable of." She explained. "There was one job I was about to take up, payed a very good amount, but I realised I'd need to be able to slice into stuff. And I only know how to fly." She finished, laughing and shrugging at the end of her statement.

Would that be alright? Of course it would. Been a while since I worked alongside someone.

It was settled for him then, depart to Mos Eisley and see what work they could find. Myles pocketed his datapad and ate the rest of his jerky. It's go time.
Myles knew they could find work there, as there were more spaceports and more cantinas that would sure have the crowd. If they played it cool they could get something small in no problem.

"Well, you will get there. If you want I could take you to another system if need be."

He didn't want her to be stranded, so he felt kinda bad. Their best bet was to take a transport to Anchorhead and go from there.

"Can you maneuver a speeder then?"He said to her. Speeder would be a faster method of transport but could be more dangerous. He examined his datapad in anticipation for her next response.

@Jae Jordan

"Another system may be helpful, gotta figure out where I'm going next though." She replied, her brain got to thinking as the words came out of her move, thinking about possible systems to travel to.

"Mos Eisley spaceport would be a good bet to try and find some work though. I'm open to try it out." She finished on an optimistic note, hopeful that she'd find a job of some sort, perhaps she'd need the help of Myles in the end.

She smirked when he asked her the question, "Course I can." She replied, once again, cocky. She hopped off the stool to stretch for a minute before turning to Myles and apologising, "Sorry, I get a little too cocky at times." She apologised with a guilty smile on her face, like that of a child's when they know they've done something wrong.

Smart gal. Making plans before travellin' to other systems.

Myles nodded his head at her remark. Perhaps they might run into each other on a different planet someday.

"Good, good. Ill be shipping out here in an hour or so. My speeders aren't military grade but they will take ya from point A to point B."

Although Myles loved having exotic toys, he often sacrificed those for quality, durable and cheaper alternatives in the long run.
"I know we could find something in Eisley, finding a job there will be a walk in the park"

Myles pulled a piece of parchment out of his vest pocket; a map of the area. He analyzed the best route to Mos Eisley, avoiding all Tusken Raider encampments and avoiding sand storm hotspots. Only route that presented itself was a canyon pass that ended up on the outskirts of Mos Eisley.
"Should only take a couple of hours max. Ill loan you one of my speeders. Be sure to grab any survival equipment should you have any; namely food and other items. I have the camp equipment. You never know what could happen along the way."
He wasn't trying to sound ominous but he had a bad experience one time that almost killed him on Malastare, he lacked any equipment that day and almost paid for it dearly with his life.

Kid has heart, protege material right here
He chuckled to himself as he gave a brief reply "That's fine, your more than confident in maneuvering a speeder. Being cocky sometimes ain't a bad thing, shows that you have aptitude and know-how in certain ways."

He folded the map and pocketed it before paying the rest of his tab out
Smiling at [member="Jae Jordan "]again he offered "I am payin' for hers too"
