Public Beyond the Wall

The woman ran right to Subject 73 Red and through what little control that she could muster, she attacked him, seeing that Leenic Ellsil was also at the ready for it. Not that it mattered. Her only way out of this was clear. "Kill me! Please!"

Lori's attention shifted towards a familiar voice, backing away from the others, she couldn't believe her eyes as she saw him. "Curtis!!!" She broke out in a run towards him, almost knocking him over in an embrace once she got to him. "I'm so glad that you're here too! Wherever here is. Have you any idea where we are?" Questions began to pour out of her in rapid succession.

Yet all that excitement and overall feeling of joy was short lived. A high pitched screach, followed by clicking was heard, coming from the opening in the wall. And then it appeared. A terrifying creature standing 8 feet tall appeared. It's legs were arachnid in shape, ending in a singular sharp claw on each. In truth the creature seemed a mixture between an insect and a machine, neither of which gave her comfort.

And just when it couldn't get worse...it did. A dozen others came billowing out of the opening, heading straight towards them all.

Lori didn't have weapons, and neither did some of the others. She couldn't even tap into the Force. All that she could do was break into a run towards the trees. Maybe there she'd find some weapons, or at least something that could be used as one.

[Leenic Ellsil]

Leenic glanced around at the chaos unfolding around him and flipped his knife in his hand. He saw the creature and the horde of people, but decided to go help out Red. "Hold on partner, I gotcha!" He said, grabbing the woman in a chokehold and pulling her a little back from Red. He then tossed her to the ground and scrambled backwards as she begun to stand up. He then turned his head towards Red once again and asked "What are we gonna do?"

The woman ran for Red, and he had to react quickly. He grappled with her, then Leenic helped him out by grabbing her and throwing her. "Thanks, mate." Red told him. The woman started to get back up. Leenic asked him what they were going to do. "I'll incapacitate her." He told Leenic. He rushed towards the woman and swept her legs out from under her. As he did that he brought his right hand down on her brain stem. He also brought his left knee up. The resulting force of the blunt hit knocked her clean out. She was still alive, just unconscious, and would have a terrible headache. Red did the move in a way to prevent her from getting brain damage, or a concussion.

Then, Red heard the screeching. He turned his head to the sound. He saw the huge monster. Oh great, just perfect. Then, more came out of the opening. It just kept on getting better and better. Red picked up the woman, and draped her over his shoulders in a fireman's carry. Red thought about their options. "And now, we run." He said. He took off after Loreena. He ran for the trees. He was slowed down by the weight of the woman, but he wasn't going to leave her for the monsters. Besides, she might have answers. And so, Red ran into the trees, going for cover.
