Black Ghost in a Grey Mist (Master Needed)

[member="Talos Riga"]

Veino steeled himself, adding more bricks to the walls, and reached out to the Echoes, greeting one with a firm politeness. This mind was his and his alone. He would share his knowledge if they shared theirs. They would sense his compassion and sense of right, strengthened with the steel rod of resolve. He was not to be dominated by their numbers or their strengths.

A strange feeling slammed the mind of Talos as he hit the wall barring Veino's mind. The wall of compassion, justice and resolve was strong and it reflected the light of the Echoes in on themselves. They started to change color. From green to a pale blue. They appeared to be understanding the emotions laid out before them. In their understanding, the Echoes began to share the depth of their collective knowledge with one another and with Talos.

A fading feeling of confusion lingered as the technique maintained strength between the two Force Users. Talos couldn't understand why it was working, but he was willing to take it as far as he could.

Veino stayed calm, sensing the change in the Echoes and their attitude. It was more effective than he had suspected, but perhaps not entirely so. Most beings responded kindly, or kinder than usual, when treated with compassion first. It was a risk, of course, but everything was.

He wasn't entirely sure of the entirety of everything happened, and he wasn't going to risk lessening his wall to check. It was taking complete concentration to maintain, and sweat beaded down his neck.

All at once, the Echoes shared their collective knowledge, expanding the field of power flowing between the two FU.

We are willing to share...We wish to know more...We are power...

The Echoes unloaded their power onto the two users, hitting the walls they had created to maintain the connection. Pressing with so much power, a Master must have been behind it all.

Veino fell backwards as the power hit the wall, essential shattering it, and crashing through him, sending him adrift in the Echoes. He seemed to fade for a moment, and then a memory tugged himself back.

I pledge myself to the Jensaarai for I have found true love in the protection of those I love. His favorite part of the Jensaarai code. It struck a cord within him that had become his own mantra. His sense of self strengthened in the crowd, and began to float among them, rather than be tossed about.

The blast sent both FU flat onto their backs, the Echoes exploded into each of their minds. Talos felt Veino stabilize in the chaos of the overflow. Within the sea of knowledge lay the minds of Veino and Talos, treading through the swirl of Force energy between them. The host mind of Talos watched as Veino found his center in the chaos and in turn, the Echoes began to stop as they also found their center. A memory that held them to reality, to life. For Talos that was the day he became to host of all of these souls.

We seem to have found the center point of this technique, find Our tie to life and We will succeed. We see all of the knowledge between the multitude of Our lives.

Veino nodded. The echoes had a point, They had indeed seemed to find the center of the technique. Did it require two people to be accomplished though? Or would Talos be able to manage it himself? That would be the question in which they were both students.

"Indeed, We have. The question now is what to do with that knowledge, don't you think?"

The knowledge We gain, is Our own to do with as We see fit.

Talos stood, the Echoes floated about him, We are in control of Our knowledge...We shall keep, teach and use as We please...You are welcome to Our knowledge...

With a flick of his wrist, the Echoes dissipated and flowed into his hand. A brilliant ball of green smoke swirled in the gloved palm of his hand. Talos turned back to Veino, palm open. As if offering the knowledge within his hand up to his master.

Veino hesitated, studying the light, not sure which course to take, but he nodded, and reached his own hand out, holding it palm down a few centimeters above.

"I am honored by your generosity." He bowed his head slightly in acknowledgement, surprised at how well it had gone.

The swirl in Talos' hand flowed forth into Veino's, and seemingly poured into his skin. Based on how it felt to Talos everytime, Veino should feel a cold chill run from his hand up his arm and into his brain as the Echoes made their way into his mind. Were ther to be a walls, they would gently press until allowed in.

The knowledge they carried were mind altering abilities of the Force. Mind Trick, Force Fear, Force Illusion, and the ability Talos learned from the Aang-Tii that allowed them to move objects like telekinesis but without actually using the Force.

Veino felt them press gains this walls. Many of the walls in fact, and he hesitated, uncertain of whether or not he could trust them, but he relented and dropped the walls. The information seeped in and settled inside his brain, carries by a chill that ran up his arm, up the neck, and into the brain. He shivered slightly. That was unusual, to be sure. His heartbeat had increased, but he used the Force to calm it to normal levels.

And with you friend.

With a whisp of the wind Talos disappeared in a green swirl. He had left another ability out, his ability to fold space and walk through it. He learned it from the Aang-Tii.
