Andorreth Vikar

She was definitely evasive. For good measure too, from what little I knew of Makashi the key was to meet your opponents blade and keep space open for movement. If you couldn't move then you ran the risk of being overwhelmed. The roll she'd done and re-activated her saber.... "Trakata move if I'm not mistaken Drystan..." She was right it was my credits but she was at least challenging me... she stood in a loose ready stance....Force she reminded me of Corellian sand-panthers perfectly suited to desert but regal nonetheless.
Celiana had once cautioned me not to rely entirely on bladework because there were people better than me. I recognized that she was better as a duelist in Makashi so I simply stood in a ready stance loosely mirroring hers. Opening myself to The Force I simply embraced what I'd experienced from her so far... Tight and controlled, though potentially prideful of her skills with bladework. She fought ferociously albeit again in a controlled manner. Most people that had had something happen in their past either tried to learn to control it or fought against it. Let your blade show people who you are, more advice Celiana had given. Moving in a half step I thrust my saber forward and midway through my strike swept it back towards the underside of her forearm. Then I brought my saber back to cover my side as I moved into a side-stance. Her grin was contagious and I found myself smiling.
