Rock and Roll MotherFluffers
So Nir was just going to play limbo with Shan's fist? Hm...He could get around that. Though he could feel his focus fading from his technique, wincing as his hand started to soften up. He'd have to head straight into his next technique before Nir had a change to try and turn the tables again, as instead of punching the Cathar, Shan would clap his hand onto Nir's shoulder, the one wielding the sword. Though now it came to the..."fun" part. Sliding his hand down the sword to grab onto Nir's hand, gritting his teeth in pain as he tried to keep a firm grip. If it wasn't for Nir's summoning ability, Shan could have just kept his grip on the sword, but Nir could have just cancelled that out.
His hand was throbbing hard. And the fact that Nir's sword had a voice wasn't something that Shan had been expecting, but whilst he might have given up in the spar by now in the past, that wasn't what he was like anymore. That's not to say he felt good about what he was about to try and do but...he just kept a firm grip on Nir's hand and shoulder, trying to keep the Cathar's arm as straight as he could...before he brought his knee up in an attempt to dislocate the elbow. Trying to pull his punch, or well in this case knee, so that he wouldn't break anything.
Nir Si
Ow.
Nir felt his arm go limp, the boy desummoning his sword out of instinct. But he couldn't give up. He needed to keep going. The boy swung with his other arm, going for a haymaker at Shan's face. With the overextended attempt to break his elbow, he's surely have left himself open...
