Whatever Syd's growing doubts about the war Laertia waged on the NIO and GA, the ultimate goal in Laertia's mind had yet to waver: The defeat of the Bryn'adul.
Another society in danger of Extermination. Laertia couldn't watch it happen again without doing everything in her power to stop it.
She had all but begged The CIS to send what warships they could spare, and had managed to get a few heavy droid carriers with heavily reinforced armor to carry two Veteran legions of Nuetralizers, survivors of the campaigns at Generis, Ziost, and more recently Serenno. The rest she had been forced to divise means of smuggling the rest of them in Cargo Haulers days in advance, using her Nuetralizer Androids to kidnap and impersonate Key Port Authority Officials into letting the dodgy shipments through.
Others had been already present, using their Light Side Signatures (Which wouldn't feel different to real Jedi until they started fighting) to allay the suspicion of any Silvers who tried to investigate what was in the Containers (As well as deeply, deeply unethical sorcery).
Laertia and Syd had punched through, Syd clad in the one armor of hers that offered the best protection from acid, a skintight white and gold catsuit. Laertia was clad in possibly her single most powerful Armor. She felt different in the Force to Syd now, the Light twisting and coiled by force around her instead of being guided by it. It was almost Sith Like...edges of frustration, but not genuine malice or hate. Merely cold, unyielding determination.
This was the thing Syd loved about her...that unshaken, proud will...and it was the one thing in Laertia Syd feared would be Laertia's undoing, if it hadn't been already...
The Armored Star Courier punched through enemy lines with the carriers, which took heavy damage as they made their way down to the Capitol, Syd piloting the Courier and gunning down everything in a way that made Laertia's brain gurgle in lust for Syd, only the life or death struggle letting her restrain the sensation from going into their bond...for the most part. Syd giggled at some of the imagery Laertia involuntarily let escape her mind.
The carriers began deploying her sons in drop pods as they were in range, dropping them all over the city, though some pods were concentrated in problem areas. Her two primary children, Lyssa, possibly one of the most dangerous Droids in the Galaxy, had been deployed near the outskirts with a squad of Nuetralizers to link up with
Alyosha Drutin and
Val Drutin to help do some damage.
They landed close to the shield wall, where the Draelvasir had yet to reach, landing. As soon as Laertia stepped off in her silvery armor, she was immediately confronted by a squad of Jedi and Antaran Rangers.
"You
dare to show your faces
here?" The Jedi in front, a burly, muscled man in full armor, brandishing a Lightsaber.
"Yes." Laertia stated without emotion.
"You've murdered Jedi, turned your back on our code, slaughtered our allies who fight for freedom against the tyranny of Sith Oppression, and now you do a complete one eighty to condescendingly offer us aid after all the pain, all the suffering, all the friends we lost to your blade and your perverted allies?!" He sputtered in indignation and disgust.
"Not Condescendingly..." Laertia replied. "But...yes..."
Without another word she brushed past him to head towards the Shield Generator. He stood there, blankly, unsure how to react before reluctantly shutting off his blade to her, realizing he had way bigger problems than trying to arrest a Black Knight who wasn't here to kill him.
It wouldn't have done him any good, because a number of people around him stopped hiding their bodies and presence with the Force. They wore dark and silver armor with a visored mask and helmet, twisting the Light around their bodies just as Laertia did. Syd whispered a spell that made the shield wall open a small area for her and her retinue to pass proper to defend the shield wall
The Jedi scowled at these hidden and unwelcome newcomers, one of whom made the Devil Horns Sign with his hand to troll the Jedi and the Rangers as they passed by...as the Veteran Nuetralizers began to pour into that area, setting up defensive positions, barricades, heavy repeater and Machine Gun Nests while they still could, Nuetralizers deploying from their cargo containers at various landing areas began to pour into the streets, creating near instant chokepoints, their cryonic lasers boosted in power as well as their T-007 Ion Disruptors, Rocket Launchers, and Blaster Chainguns. Many were also armed with Stouker Concussion Rifles, and began to viciously murder any Bryn'adul they spotted, Gassing or blasting them to pieces either with their service weapons or those mounted direct on the chassis.
"Master! We can't just let that traitor into the city!" A ranger protested.
"Which do you think is the bigger problem, at the moment? We can arrest her and her friends after we hold Sarka. Now lets go..." the Jedi grumbled, clearly very unhappy at what he had just allowed...
Meanwhile...
Lyssa the Advanced Prototype, and First Daughter of Laertia waited for Val and Alyosha, along with dozens of Nuetralizers setting up traps and choke points, waiting for the inevitable hoarde.
Lyssa, made to resemble a pretty young woman wearing glossy, silvery biker leathers with black spikes on the jacket took a last minute quick check with her Brother, Hadrian who was doing Similar things in the tunnels below, setting up dozens of traps and nests of condensed machinegun fire with cryonic tips to try and stick it to Bryn'adul , quietly helping out the forces of
Vexander Graves
from the shadows, their stealth units feeding him sonar movements and believed armaments of the enemy to his officers on encrypted, untraceable comms. Though the murderous skeletons were the stuff of nightmares to any who encountered them, they never touched Civilians...
"Hadrian, you ready?" Lyssa asked.
"Like an Anakin who just found him a Padme." Hadrian the Golden Prototype replied.
Lyssa giggled at the dirty joke, "I love you Brother. If you die, take as many as you can with you.
"We shall make them fear us." Hadrian assured in a scary James Spader like voice before turning his comlink off to finish prepping the Resistance. His brothers opened fire on what they saw as soon as it came into sight, and soon he was directing and coordinating attack and defense wirelessly, each crazy for Bryn'adul blood on a level that would have creeped out no less than Michael Meyers himself...
Lyssa spotted Alyosha and his brother, waving them down a d running up to them.
"Greetings..." she said with dissonant serenity. "I am Lyssa. First Daughter of Laertia. Please select a difficulty of one to eight for global thermonuclear asskicking."
