| Description |
Maanis of Clan Vizsla is but a normal farmer on the planet of Mandalore, or at least he was until the call of war got to him. Forever marked by his first profession Maanis discovered that he faced a difficult and inevitable task of seeing to the construction of his identity among the Mandalorians.

While his Clan was steeped in tradition and fame he chose the solitary path as to not allow the name of Vizsla to overflow the task at hand while also allowing himself to remove his inspiration as much as possible from the existing suits of Vizsla, for he knew to do so was to risk his chance at making a name for himself.
Maanis did take existing examples of armours outside of the influence sphere to design his own protective suit. The design process was one of tedious research and personal tastes dependant on armour styles and traits.
He took a keen interest into the world of independent operations, Bounty Hunters, Mercenaries and Private Militaries where armour styles were as varied as the people who used them.
By looking at this he realised that the need for movement was key to a lot of people’s success over that of a heavily armoured brute, especially with Maanis’ favoured style of rough combat.
The initial plans were very intricate and had a level of craftsmanship about them that was beyond Maanis’ skill set. He was planning on an extended crafting process but instead was forced to advance the process due to the sudden Death Watch threat that engulfed the Mandalore Sector with the threat of civil war. On top of the increasing desire of war between the Mandalorian’s and the Galactic Republic due to the events at Roche and [member="Ra Vizsla"]'s appointment as Mand'alore he was forced to settle on a much simplified and militaristic aesthetic then the intricate level of earlier concepts.
The entire armour is based over the form-fitting bodysuit of Venir Technologies VT-Shark Skin. The suit, which although coated in Beskar plates that made up the armour pieces itself is a heavily featured part of the armour and is substantially more exposed then other heavier designs. This suit has a series of internal systems at work, mostly temperature control and the nodes for the digital life support system.
