"You Jedi forgive so...easily. It's as if you have no sense of prescience." Careful not to further any damage to his body Iviroa rose Kahlil to his feet his arm slung over her shoulders. He was much taller than she and weighed a hell of a lot more too, but that didn't matter. He raised a good point if they lingered too long those damned Katarn may return. "Alright. I'll take you back to your ship. Though I can't say I'll linger much longer after that I've..." She bit her lip as she thought back on her actions. "...Sullied our relationship. I didn't expect you to forgive me, I only wanted you to understand."

Such rage...such clouded vision...all those voices...all those thoughts and emotions and memories she's never even had before. Is this what those under the Dark side experienced? Is this what the Sith craved? To experience things you've never experienced...what a high experience like one she's never known. "I probably seem like a fool to you. Falling into such obvious darkness. As a Jedi I suppose more is expected of you than it is of me...you wouldn't get it..." Twirling her hair around her finger Iviroa tried to place her attention elsewhere only to be met with a row of frozen, decaying victims.

"Sorry, it's just that...I'm not really used to talking with people I tried to murder ya'know? Most of them are dead...or worse." Her eyes watered at the thought.

Kahlil leaned heavily on Iviroa Jinoes, though he didn't want to. He knew all too well just how much heavier he was than people of a more normal size. A light chuckle escaped him at wondering just how heavy his father or sister might be. They stood a whole foot or more taller than him. "You stress too much. I'm not forgiving you because I'm a Jedi. I'm forgiving you because I know the temptation of the Dark. I was born a son of the Sith Emperor, after all." He mused idly, not wanting to let it linger and darken the mood.

"I wouldn't mind you staying longer. My ships not going to be ready to leave yet, and given the state of the town I don't think I'm gonna find much for conversation." Grim humor, but really what would it do? She'd already tried to kill him.

Iviroa froze where she stood her hands almost dropping Kahlil as her face contorted in idle shock. "Excuse me...WHAT?!" Now she did let go of Kahlil her voice filled with venom and disgust. "You say that as if the Emperor isn't one of the most despicable people to ever live!" The witch stepped back the frozen corpses around her shuddering in comparison to the man she had been traveling with. "I don't know much about the Sith, but I do know they aren't good for the galaxy so their leader can't be any better!" The Witch put greater distance between herself and Kahlil her mind unable to fully comprehend the situation.

"So wait... you're a Jedi but your father is the supposed pinnacle of darkness? How's that work? And how do you just act like this is normal?!" He tried to lighten the mood but it wasn't working. You don't just reveal yourself as the son of a hellspawn and keep moving it just doesn't work that way. Doing her best to calm herself Iviroa plopped herself on a trash bin her eyes orange and inquisitive. Part of her wanted to keep questioning Kahlil...the other part brought up the fact she just tried to murder him. "You've got some explaining to do."

An incredibly nervous smile formed as Iviroa Jinoes got more and more disgusted by this idea. A pained groan escaped as he was nearly dropped, and he ended up just falling to the ground when she stopped bothering to hold him up. His smile faded though as he sat up best he could. His grey eyes turned to the frozen corpses around them. "Yeah, sounds pretty cliche right? The son trying to stop the father." He chuckled a bit before shaking his head. "I grew up a Sith for.. Too long. Stopped bein a Sith when someone helped me get out."

His gaze turned back to the Witch, offering a kind smile. "I wasn't gonna be a Jedi. Wanted to float around on my own. Find my own peace. Then I got asked to help stop my family. Y'know my sisters the Emperor now? And my uncle, Dark Lord. Father retired. Being Sith's in our blood it seems." His smile faded. "I want to fix their wrong. Maybe redeem them. I hope to, at least."

Iviroa gritted her teeth a shameful feeling washing over her. Geez. I guess I never really considered his side of things, so much travesty in this galaxy of ours. To think one man can shoulder so much of it...Iviroa ripped herself from her thoughts as she moved to again prop Kahlil on her shoulders. "Your an interesting one Jedi. I knew you'd be fun as soon as I was blocked from your mind." Her strength beginning to replenish, Iviroa took notice of the small blade of grass sprouting from her chest. "Seems my thralls can't stand to live without me!" She smiled. "Cmon, Ill get you back to your ship."

Two and a half hours later...

The trip back was longer than before, but she didn't mind. She had company, injured company at that. By all rights, it was her responsibility to ensure his safety no matter the cost...

...especially since she tried to murder him

Orange light painted the skies as the sun began its final stretch before the night claimed the heavens. Iviroa sat some distance away from Kahlil's ship her mind locked on the sunset gradually being devoured by the horizon. Her leather Jacket laid idly next to her its onyx threads getting in the way of the shrub threatening to split her shirt open. "Amazing...who would have thought such a cursed world could have such beautiful scenery." Iviroa wiped her eyes a tear looming on the surface of her eyelid.

"Damn it. I really need to stop crying so much. Hell, I cry because I'm crying!" Stale laughter escaped her lips the irony of the situation lost on her.

"Fun is something I've been working on since I left home. Good to know it's working out." At least the situation seemed to be diffused for the moment. Kahlil pretty readily accepted Iviroa Jinoes's help again with standing and.. Well, walking. Her thorns had pierced a good number of muscles and every step was full of pain for him. "I think I like your thralls. They're saving my ass too." He chuckled, then fell pretty quiet. The trip back he was in that silence, a pained smile on his face the whole time.

But not because of the actual wounds.

Had he really done anything to stop his father since he swore to? Just traveling and pretending to be a Jedi wasn't doing a lot for it. He was part of no order, and he knew that without it, he really wasn't, not technically. Still didn't stop him from trying. Back in his ship he was able to get some much needed healing. R6 had done pretty good work on repairing the ship, and the medbay was operational again. Including the bacta tank. He took a quick dip in that. Then made dinner.

He wasn't too sure what the Witch would eat. Given her plants and the relationship, he wondered if she even needed to. Or wanted to. Still, he cooked up something simple. Comfort food. Classic mac n cheese with some bacon. Good stuff. He headed out to bring her a bowl just as she started to laugh. A chuckle escaped Kahlil as he took a side beside her and passed her a bowl. And made quite the effort not to look at the shrub.

"Cryin ain't so bad. Means you still feel. Still human." The young man offered a bowl to her before gazing up at the sky himself. "It's not the world that cursed it. Just some ancient relic from the Sith. I imagine before it came by this planet was really peaceful."

Iviroa smiled as the smell of cheese touched her nose and stoked her appetite. Kahlil rose over the hilltop to bring her some dinner a welcome sight to the starved and fatigued Witch. Energetically, Iviroa munched away at the Mac'n Cheese the small bacon bits inside a pleasant surprise. As much as she wanted to preserve the mood there was a question that had been looming over her for some time. "Hey, Khalil? Where do you think that relic even came from?" She asked with a mouth full of macaroni. "I mean it had to have come from somewhere right? Not to mention it was just laying in the middle of town!"

Iviroa poked at her food as she awaited his answer the golden light of the sun having been claimed by darkness.

Seeing her actually so energetically dig in was a welcome sight. So Iviroa Jinoes did actually eat. Kahlil smiled a bit as he took a bit of his own and turned his gaze back to the setting sun. It was pretty nice just to sit there, and even the question she brought up didn't really sour the mood. It was a good question. He shrugged, glancing to her with a smirk. "Probably some poor grave robber who didn't know what he had. Stole it from a Sith Tomb and ended up here. Was likely him we found it still attached to."

He set down his bowl and leaned back on his hands, watching the last of the light fade before they were left in darkness. Only for a couple seconds though. Then the stars came out, brightening the night sky as they always would. "What do you plan to do now?" It was an innocent enough question, but there was more to it, at least for Kahlil. He turned his head to watch her for a moment, silently observing. Given what happened with the artifact, he felt near responsible to try and keep her from falling again. His fault she was exposed to this thing as it was.

Poor soul. If Kahlil's theory was true then the world she lived in was crueler than she imagined. A frown threatened to split her face before another mouthful of Mac was shoved inside. The stars above were surreal, a sight she never enjoyed on Corellia thanks to all the smog and pollution that clouded the skies. Even with her focus on the cosmos, Iviroa could feel Kahlil's eyes on her inviting her to meet his gaze. "What am I gonna do now?" Iviroa leaned back the dirt and grass below her gently caressing her body.

"I don't know." She frowned. "I tried to plan out my whole life you know that? Certainly didn't intend on ended up here." She clutched her bowl. "Let me tell you something Jedi...Our present is a reflection of our future and our future is a reflection of the past, our current present. If that's all true then we can predict the future right now if we wanted to..." She took another mouthful of Mac. "The thing is we can't predict the future which means what I said is a lie. Take my advice Jedi you can't ask the future what it holds and the past and present don't know the answer. You never know what might happen next all we can do...is keep moving forward and try to make our future..."

Iviroa burst into laughter as she thought about the ridiculous answer she gave to a rather simple question. "Sorry, It's just that I..." She struggled to keep a straight face. "I get asked that so much and I never know what to say!" She stroked a branch growing out of her earlobe its wooden structure and small bud soothing to her fingers.

"I'm going on the run like I always have. I don't exactly have a clean criminal history. And I'm not a stranger to violence..." She threw her hands into the air as a flush of red colored her cheeks in the moonlight. "Don't get me wrong I'm not a hardened criminal or anything! I'm just not friends with law and order if you get my meaning. Other than running I'm going sightseeing. The Galaxy is a big place and there's so much I've never seen..." Her gaze shifted toward the cosmos her eyes burning with golden light.

"I heard there are still Sith monuments still laying around." The flora on her body shook at the thought. "Might visit those in my travels...But enough about me!"

Cross-legged she laid on her torso in front of Kahlil her hands propping up her chin. "What are you gonna get up to?"

For a moment Kahlil looked rather bewildered as Iviroa Jinoes went onto a tangent about the future and how impossible it was to actually predict it. He just stared, then burst out into laughter just as she did. A big grin formed on his face as he kept leaning back where he was. There was another light chuckle, especially at the blush and her admission to being some kind of criminal. His gaze shifted from her back to the starts as he nodded. "There's a lot to see. Dunno if seeing more Sith things is something to do, but running sounds kinda lonely."

He paused as she repeated the question to him. His eyes fell back to hers, then he shrugged. "We'll see where the galaxy takes me. I like to move around a lot. Still dunno how I'm gonna stop my family. But I guess.." Another shrug. "I wouldn't mind if you wanted to tag along for a bit. Won't lie, don't thing it's been this crazy for me for a while. Kinda nice."

Iviroa took another spoonful her expression going from attentive to inquisitive. She doesn't have the luxury of having traveled with someone before, not voluntarily anyway. Still, Kahlil'sproposition did raise some questions in the woman. "You'd travel with someone who tried to kill you?" She allowed herself to giggle at his comment for by now she had learned she can relax around Kahlil. "I'll warn you if you couldn't already tell I'm a bit of a biohazard, and I can be a real bitc-" With enormous force, a vine ripped through the back of her shirt as if her flora were punishing her for the "biohazard" thing. "Oh come on! You know it's true!"

Iviroa cleared her throat as she turned her attention back to Kahlil. "I can't really say I've got anything better to do can I?" She gobbled down the rest of her bowl. "Alright. I'll stick around for a bit, like I said you never know what might happen do you?" Iviroa pointed towards the horizon the stars and moonlight reflecting off the grassy field. "Besides. With my ship totaled it's not like I can leave without you anyway!"

"I grew up as a Sith, remember? Getting almost killed by the people around you was a favored pass time." Kahlil cracked a grin and winked, then burst out into laughter as the vine ripped through her shirt. The young man couldn't stop laughing at this point, especially as Iviroa Jinoes started to argue with the plant itself. He eventually settled down with his laughter, but the grin certainly didn't fade.

"Ah? Well, here I was hoping you might want to leave with me." His grin widened a tad as the laughter was about to start up again, but he coughed that away as his gaze turned back to the stars above. "A plant witch and a Sith born Jedi travel the galaxy. Feels kinda like a b rated movie, eh?" A much calmer smile formed as he laid back in the grass, hands behind his head. "I had R6 set up a grow bed for ya. I dunno if you need it, but I could use it for herbs n such if you don't."

"B rated? Hmph! I'll have you know I would be an A-List actor!" By now Iviroa had managed to suppress the trunk forming on her back and with it, she was able to don her jacket without fear of it being destroyed. Kahlil was thoughtful enough to have a grow bed set up for the witch yet the mere thought of it made her wince as a swath of bad memories flooded her mind. "I do appreciate that but..." Iviroa motioned towards her back. "My thralls are loyal to me in every regard but...They are ONLY loyal to me and once they have tasted my ethereal energies..." She started playing with her hair again. "Shit happens...And unless you wanna crash again I don't think it's a good idea to let my flora roam freely." Iviroa pat Kahlil on the shoulder.

"It was still really thoughtful, Jedi." Iviroa continued on towards the ship her eyes heavy and her arms tired. It'll be good to have someone around who can actually cook because for all her talents cooking was never one of them and any meal she's tried to conjure up immediately turned to ash the minute it touched the pan. In all honesty, she might be cursed. "Alright, I'm gonna go get some shut-eye before I turn into a heinous monster." She wasn't exaggerating either, without ample energy to feed on her flora might just go their own way and screw with the natural habitat, which as a naturalist is something she will not have.

This is my last post in this thread the next post will bring us to a nicely wrapped closing point!

"Fair, fair." He chuckled lightly and nodded his head in agreement. Iviroa Jinoes probably would be an A listed actor, if that was the life she had a chance to go for. Though, yeah. Having her plants tear apart his ship wouldn't be good. "Then herbs it is." He got up to his feet and flashed a smile in her direction as they made their way back to the ship. Where they might go next he wasn't too sure, but that didn't matter too much.

"Sleep well, then. I'll get us a course set so I can.. Well. Try and make up for the shipment I lost when I crashed. If there's anyplace you'd like to go after, feel free to tell me." One last smile, then the tall figure made his way to the cockpit to sit beside R6 and plot the course. His ship took off, thankfully, and soon enough they'd be in hyperspace to continue on with where ever they were going.
