The first thing to blow up was the FLEETCOM station. Dropships and escape pods blasted away first, and then it went up in flames. Then every other station in system began to explode in the same fashion. There were alarms, sure. Plenty of time to escape the coming demise of every military installation or shipyard, but no way to stop it. Tampering with the self-destructs would only trigger them unless they knew the exact encryption algorithm. Every piece of military hardware was broken, every piece of data destroyed. There was nothing left of the Protectorate's for the One Sith to take. As one, every ship in the system jumped away. There was nothing left for the One Sith but ruins and a ghost planet.
The Spirit of Druckenwell eventually showed up over Fondor, but Ayden was nowhere to be found.
Unlike many of her Sith comrades, who always fought with the Force at the tips of their fingers, Vrag didn't have that instinct ingrained. No barrier shot up in reflex to protect her when one of their siege machines was blown to bits, and the shockwave from the explosion sent her skidding across the trampled grass. Powerful muscles resisted, durasteel boots found purchase in the ravaged soil. She would not be stopped, merely deterred. With every beat of her heart, lives winked out of existence, by the virtue of rockets, blaster fire, grenades, lightsabers... the sentient of the Galaxy sure had invented a lot of creative ways to kill each other by now. Not one to lag behind, Vrag quickened her pace to join in on the fun, replacing the robust and inaccurate bolts of her rifle with the lethal strikes of Niman.
Seeing that the petite Sith Lord commanded their forces with an iron fist, the Knight pushed forth with newfound confidence, her armored form disappearing into the colorful swarm of close-quarters combat. The open terrain between their troops and the fortress was no more, the once green pasture now covered with cooling cadavers and discarded guns. The fabled, lush flora of Corellia was all but gone under the gentle attention of the Sith; scorching craters gaping in place of lakeside resorts; wide swaths cut through woods to provide access to their war machines; the earth cracking with every blast the stronghold took, its walls obscured by a veil of gray smoke.
The Star Viper blasted out from the chasm of The Right Hand's Hangar Bay. Particle shield bleeped across the surface of the Immortal, allowing temporary egress for the singular vehicle. Belching outwards from typically clenched maw, contrails followed swiftly behind the Viper in billowing and dissipating swallows, consuming of the blackness of the night surrounding Corellia. Behind the dash, the Sith Lord sat patiently, crimson eye viewing the sudden and quite spectacular explosion of Omega Protectorate forces. He hadn't realized there was a scheduled celebration, fireworks included in the entertainment.
A smile graced his face as he leaned against his chair, the armored arms crossed against cloaked chest. "Interesting..." He said aloud, leaning forward and initiating entry for the vehicle. His commands back upon The Right Hand were clear: maintain safe operating distance and prepare for defenses, should the force be needed. But with the universe stricken by such anomalous circumstances, it would be hard to predict the sort of resistance that would be seen here.
The Viper cruised through the open pockets of what defenses were left, cutting across the exosphere to enter orbit. He wondered if it would serve any good, but the leisurely stroll was well enough reason to grab some fresh air.
Magicians as they were, making flowers appear from thin air...they weren't in range of anything short of a gaze beyond laser, electrified, impervium greatness...
Well, one wouldn't go that far.
Apparently the Omega SAM turrets had been taken offline - most likely power issues at this point. The Urban Recon Walkers, however, and the guards - were ready. The Manticore Tank had it's gun trained upon the behemoth being that was [member="Hion the Herglic"]. The tank commander would comment to his comrades within about the size of the beast and how he would make fine sushi to dine on when they were finished. Confidence was bristling within the heavy tank as it maneuvered it's way well beyond the confines of the 2nd gate.
The remaining Soldiers had hearts of cortosis, hell maybe even beskar'gam but the world of Corellia was in flames and help was not anywhere in sight. Perhaps there was fear? Could it be sensed? Perhaps.
Why had they come for Incom, didn't they know that there was little to gain here? Was it more to bait out the Executives of the facilities? Doubtful, more so than to make a point. Incom was nothing but a drop of water in a much larger pool - regardless of how heavily fortified it was. They may destroy the defenses on the exterior of the building but even getting within would be a feat for glow-stick wielders...dark or light. The questioned remained, what was the purpose?
A voice would come across a loud speaker before the trio as their shuttle - a feminine voice disguised in a multitude of flanges and echos. "Why have you come here, we have nothing to offer you. You would think you have better places to be than here..."

OOC - Going to try my best to provide some entertainment, can't promise anything. ^_^
Objective: Annihilate the OP Fortress Allies: [member="Vrag"] ... [member="Matsu Xiangu"] ... [member="Darth Valtryx"] ... [member="Darth Vornskr"] ... @Khallesh
The fortress had been breached, the opening symbolizing the wound inflicted on the OP, while the Sith, the salt in an open wound, began pouring in killing the enemy without mercy. Darth Venefica gave the order for half her troops to switch to their vibroswords and the other half to remain firing into the enemy. She tapped the small blue button on the side of her comlink, ordering her snipers to a full advance to the fortress. "Your primary objective is to protect your comrades that have switched to melee weapons." Then she charged into the opening herself, seeking out the first fool to face her.
Aware the Force was still hinky, she would need to rely on her natural born talents before the Force had manifested itself in her; speed and agility. She quickly engaged an OP soldier who was much taller than herself, and she used his physical form against him. As he swung his vibrosword toward her, she parried it once and in blinding speed, severed the man at the knees. A quick jab ended his screams. All around her soldiers from both sides were fighting and dying, but it was the OP that was losing the taste for battle.
She watched as a group of OP soldiers, armed with melee weapons, cut down by blaster fire by her men as they failed to swell the ranks of their comrades, resorting to desperation tactics to push the Sith back. More bodies began to litter the ground inside the fortress, most wearing the uniform of the OP. Corellia was theirs.
"No!" screamed Khallesh as she rounded the Yorik Trema. There was a spatter of automated fire coming their way, but nothing compared to just a few moments ago. Shuttles made the air reverberate as they took off from the fort and a series of explosions indicated that the Protectorate had destroyed their own materiel. If the arachnostaff had been less hardy, it would have been crushed in her grip.
The greatest battle in her lifetime and the Protectorate was fleeing.
Still there would still be local military, and CorSec to pacify. If her anger was not satiated, they could probably convince some civilians and rebel and then put them down with reckless abandon. That would provide a distraction at least.

Darth Adekos left his beloved Coma-Bloom flowers on his seat before disembarking from the shuttle. They were, of course, greeted by Incom's security forces. Which included a tank. Adekos could hardly argue with ridiculous defenses being placed around a company's holdings. He engaged in the practice himself, and it had done wonders for staving off the looting of his his corporate holdings. The trio of Sith were then yelled at by some warped voice over a loudspeaker.
"Megaphone, please."
The co-pilot got up from his seat and handed Darth Adekos the megaphone that had been in the ship as per the laws of plot convienence.
"Testing. Testing. One, two, three... Planets conquered by the One Sith in wake of the mass vanishing of billions, if not trillions, of people." Adekos said into the machine, which carried wonderfully through the air. He turned his mouth away from the megaphone to address Hion and Arkon in an aside: "I think it's working."
He continued thusly, addressing the Incom personnel. "We have come to negotiate. Who among you is in a position to do so?"
A soldier would approach the first gate - and a brief moment would allow it to be deactivated and him to pass through - upon him passing through it would reactivate. As he approached the 2nd gate, he stopped and threw over a cylindrical object - metal in nature. Luckily, it was durable and didn't break upon impact and his throw was quite good as it would land a few meters away from [member="Darth Adekos"], [member="Darth Akron"] and [member="Hion the Herglic"]. The guard would retreat behind the 1st gate as it were - it opening and closing as it did to allow him to pass.
An image would shimmer to life - a younger woman would appear before them, baring a striking resemblance to Alyesa Organa, however - she appeared to also be of Sephi decent. She would bow at the waist, simply out of courtesy and respect more than fear. Her voice would no longer be disguised obviously - as theatricality was out the window at this point. Destruction and bloodshed wasn't something to be desired.
"My name is Calyth, I am...able to speak on behalf of Incom Corporation."
Orcus assuredly did not like the look of the Manticore tank. Something about the way its rail guns stared at him. He walked down the ramp of the shuttle with a heavy gait, leering back at the tank. The cetacean unslung his massive shield and held it before him. The Vonduun Skerr material might stop bullets, but a railgun was a different story. So the purpose, at least for the moment, appeared to be mostly intimidation.
The other flipper unclipped the hilt of a lightclub from his belt, but he did not activate the weapon.
Smoke rose in the distance, probably from the self-destructed Omega SAM turrets. Silly Protectorate, Orcus thought, tricks are for kids.

Darth Adekos considered the hologram for a moment. He lowered the megaphone slowly, yet kept it in hand. As if it had been the weapon he would defend himself with when the railgun opened fire. And Orcus was the one who thought he should be worried.
"A pleasure, Calyth. The One Sith would be most appreciative if you were to take your guards, equipment, and whatever else you want from this facility and leave immediately."
His orders were to secure the facility. No one had said anything about taking what was inside. Frankly, Adekos just wanted these people gone. Then he wouldn't have to deal with them.
"I understand your position - One Sith but what have we done to deserve eviction? We are peaceful and have offered no resistance to your dominion over this planet. What says you don't destroy us when we leave?" Calyth being as young as she was, didn't feel she was dumb - however, there could be some honor with this one. "I have a home here to which I very much would like to remain, why must I leave?" She tilted her head to the side. "These guards may not just protect this facility but other things - Is this because of the Senator?"
[member="Darth Adekos"] | [member="Hion the Herglic"]
"Because if you don't," Orcus' booming voice carried far, no megaphone necessary. "We'll kill you all."
The ultimatum hung in the air like an immense specter, hovering over the lives of every Incom person who stood there this day. It was no idle threat. The three Sith oligarchs had chosen to visit the facility in person, not because it was necessary, but because they enjoyed a flash of grandeur on occasion. Flattening buildings gave Orcus a thrill like little else, but they could just as easily have leveled the structure with an orbital strike.
Was the issuance of a threat necessary? Perhaps not.... but Orcus did oh so love giving ultimatums.
[member="Alyesa Organa"] | [member="Darth Akron"] | [member="Hion the Herglic"]
"Disregard the Cetacean. Your military-grade tank pointing a railgun at him is making him nervous."
Adekos shot Hion a look. Not a glare, mind you, because Darth Adekos did not have the power to withstand a Force Bellow at this range. It was more of a "please stop talking and let me negotiate" kind of glance. The Umbaran also had absolutely no idea of any senator in particular being involved here. He had stopped paying attention to the exact senate roster long ago. Except maybe when representatives stopped showing up after their world was conquered by the One Sith.
"Incom is a corporation in service of the Republic. You must disperse. You will kindly note I did not ask you to leave the planet, but the facility. You are welcome to wipe whatever information you want from the mainframe before you go. I have no use for it."
It is shocking to think that a Herglic who was well known for his mittens and his orphanage was threatening to kill someone who wasn't an adult yet - could this be true?
Calyth stepped back in the holo, bringing her hands to clutch her chest. "But I'm scared, I don't want to die...I haven't done anything wrong!" She insisted. "I'm just trying to wait here for my mo-..." She cut herself off quickly, a hand coming up to clasp over her mouth. Her hand slowly lowered as [member="Darth Adekos"] continued to speak. "I...uhm, but I live here." She wasn't lying, she actually did live there - it just so happened that Alyesa had used it as a cover for the Incom Research and Development facility and which is why she spent so much time there.
Interesting that it worked out that way no? Not interesting that the One Sith got to it before anyone else - such was the game of life within the Galaxy.
"I have nowhere to go...Wait! What if I can uhm stay here and maybe talk to uh..." She stopped herself from saying mother. "Incom people - maybe there can be an agreement reached...I'm sure she'd understand!"
[member="Darth Adekos"] | [member="Hion the Herglic"]
"What agreement is it that you want reached? I'm telling you to leave and take whatever you want with you, along with safe passage out of the system. Go live with your guards or find an orphanage." Darth Adekos shook his head, starting to grow annoyed.
This was the one time he decided to show mercy to a corporation that was decidedly hostile to his interests and they started bartering to have it revoked. Who the hell was he even talking to right now?
Calyth would sigh as she turned to something off screen and began manipulating a few buttons - of course, it was a command console of sorts that would deactivate all security measures within the building and at the same time - purge the mainframe into the primary Incom network. As she turned back to [member="Darth Adekos"] "I will require ten minutes to evacuate the remaining people within the facility." She paused. "And my name is Calyth Organa - for the record." She'd bow at her waist. "Thank you for your mercy."
The holo would suddenly fizzle out and the orders to withdraw the troops would begin - in less fanfare than expected. Amazingly enough, an Aegis-Class Heavy Dropship would pierce through the smoking skies of Corellia, a stealth variant at that and latch onto the Manticore Tank - the Urban Walkers would load up as well as what little troops remained. Calyth would emerge from the building, surrounded by guards to include a Noghri bodyguard behind her.
She was indeed telling the truth to say the least - she was no older than thirteen, maybe fourteen years old.
A few civilians that remained would load up on the vessel and some Corellians would charge the gate, screaming for Incom to take them with - and so they would be taken with. The outer layer defenses shutting down abruptly to let them pass. Within a matter of moments - the facility would be left for the One Sith. The Aegis dropship would take off and disappear into the skies above, pierce the atmosphere and break away for open space.
But not with anything of relative use beyond durasteel and duracrete.
In the form of rubble - explosions would rock the ground beneath the building, multiple explosions at that and then it would go through the building - windows exploding outwards in a fiery ball of flame and debris. The landmines before the facility would fizzle and detonate rapidly. A very concussive and forceful display of purging without the civilian causalities.
In the end - the Incom R&D facility that had cost so much, was nothing more than a smoldering husk that would eventually collapse in on itself.
It was fun while it lasted but it was time to move on.
