Strengths:

• Speed: Built on speed, the Bolt moves with a high rating enabling the ship a chance to outrun slower opponents. Moderate maneuverability lends itself to aid the Bolt in weaving around larger capital ships.

Weaknesses:

• Defenses: A low rated defense means that the Bolt is an easier kill, but the hope here is that with its production rating it can overwhelm opponents with sheer numbers.

Description:

Working in tandem with the Sith-Imperial Corps of Engineers, Primo Victorian built the MK IV Bolt-class picket corvette. The Bolts, working in a wolfpack mentality are generally grouped in fours and would be no different in the new iteration of the class. Serving to compliment the already robust Sith Armada. When not performing combat duties the ship is designed to serve alongside patrol and pursuit corvettes. Much like her predecessors, the Bolt relies on speed and not necessarily her armament although in greater quantity the ship’s armaments will certainly work to make an impact.

• Change Log:
  • January 13th 2020; General clean up/maintenance due to server migration, eliminated moderate rating as that has been phased out - rating bumped to high, replaced Aurora Industries turbolasers/ion cannons with Primo Victorian produced weapons, swapped standard deflector shield generator for reinforced shield generator (stronger deflector shield), and added back-up hyperdrive of a lower class.
