The Niathal changed course as Ember's Keetael-born Force-tracking senses caught the edge of what he presumed was an Imperial Knight, a bit away from everything on the ground. Sensors detected a small facility, well-defended.
A large blast door leading deep underground, a small defense perimeter of metal walls surrounding the door and several buildings, many patrols, four large landspeeders for transport of material and personnel, a road leading towards the gate in the wall. Two turret towers at each building.
The Niathal set down a good distance from the facility, amid rolling hills that served well to hide the Mon Cal-designed shuttle from sensors or the naked eye. For safety's sake, he left his jetpack behind; he could cover ground quickly, physical enhancement being his forte, and most competent Forcers could make you regret wearing a fuel tank on your back. That left him in standard aliit'gam, his son's lightsabre at his belt, a Vornskr scattergun strapped to each thigh and angled slightly forward.
As he drew closer to the facility, he stopped running and wrapped himself in the White Current. Thirty years of practice lent a little subtlety to his work; he was now invisible, undetectable by sensors or the Force. That didn't let him spend a great deal of attention on homing in. He'd have to do this the hard way -- with actual observation and thought. The place was, so far as his sensors could determine, a mine or excavation, and a mine with this much security meant something valuable. If this was an Imperial Knight, something he had no way of determining at the moment, they might be at the central office or within the excavation, depending upon what this place was for.
Then again, if this was just a mine, what would an Imperial Knight be doing here? Missing puzzle pieces unsettled him.
Still cloaked in full Fallanassi Immersion, he slipped through the front gate, helmet scanners sweeping the facility.
