Bounty Hunters Guild

How about the Bounty Hunters Guild join the Valhallan Federation? We have a Pirates, Mercs, and Technocrats guild. I think it might work to all our benefit to pool our resources together. What do you guys think?

Edit: In essence, each guild has its own leadership, but we all work as a collective group.

Not unless the group was able to put a counter bounty to direct your boys efforts elsewhere. ;) What say you to that?

Agree with Templar.

The Bounty Hunters Guild is a separate entity for a reason. Its unlikely we'd join with any other confederation or faction as it makes us slightly more beholden.

I don't think it will work, IC wise we've been more of a neutral faction, aligning with pirates would make us more Evil-ish, and if the word of that would spread it would be bad for the business, alienating clients from factions who disapprove of pirates like the Republic of Omega Protectorate, both of which have vast territories where shadowports could be placed to act as Guild safehouses and who supplied us with bounties in the past.

You can't.

Like you seriously can't put a Bounty on a Bounty Hunter thats Guild Approved. They won't allow it and its in our creed that we won't hunt or kill each other. Thats part of what makes the Bounty Hunters Guild so awesome and one of the greatest benefits of being in the Guild. It gives you a level of protection.

And again, i agree with Dark Templar. Some of us work with Sith, but the Guild as a whole is Neutral.

Understood. No worries. :) Out of idle curiosity though. Would you be open to joining us if the pirate aspect were no more? I ask, because its a possibility we are already talking about.

We are neutral as well. Even our "pirate" section is not really pirates, but a mercenary fleet for hire. That's why i brought it up. We are as neutral as you guys, and willing to work with anyone. Sith or not. I mean, if you're really not interested, that is fine. I just wanted to be clear on that point. That we are neutral and more designed around hired jobs as apposed to just randomly attacking anyone for profit.

Edit: We wouldn't be getting rid of the corsairs. Simply redefining them. Currently we call them pirates. But they really aren't. The fleet has been for hire like our mercs since we brought them on. They haven't acted as pirates since the start. By simply taking the "pirate" portion out of the description, it better defines what the Corsairs are, and gives us a legitimacy to operate with legal governments like the BH here have stated. It's simply good business.

Probably not. As stated the great thing about the Bounty Hunters Guild is its independence and neutrality as well as the fact that its carved out its own little place in the galaxy. In Canon the Bounty Hunters Guild was a large force, and one to be reckoned with. It is one we are trying to emulate here and by joining a conglomerate of Mercenaries and Pirates and Slicers and the like it diminishes that.

Very well. Good luck with getting your guilds activity back up! I know how much of a challenge that can sometimes be. Let us know if we can be of any assistance in the future though! :)

Alright.

I would like to request you transfer the Faction Ownership back to me, I would PM you about that but it seems you either have me muted or your PM's disabled altogether.

Done.

Get active and do something with the Faction or you run the risk of that happening again.
