You do realize they didn't actually desert. As a member of the CIS, you should know that each military operative, regardless of rank, can leave when ever they want. But hey, you wanna come after us? Bring it.

Facts can always be distorted ICly to make one seem right. If it makes sense from In-Character viewpoint then OOC shouldn't be really mixed into it.

Actually, ICly, 50,000 is a lot of credits for a bounty.

Bounty on Chewbacca was 25,000 credits and on Han Solo was at 50,000, and those were supposed to be very large amounts already, especially on smugglers.

Highest bounty seen in canon was 1,000,000 credits on heads of Jedi, put by old CIS, because the Jedi were a huge threat to the Separatists and that sum was just ridiculous.
