Broken

Silas did his best to take it all in. One last hunt, Triam, peace between the two. It should've been easy, but after all these years it seemed so hard to believe. He didn't truly comprehend the feeling of peace, but he did not question it. "Then we shall hunt together." He replied to the statement of this being Preliat's last hunt, Silas would strike out on his own every once in a while now, the pursue a target perhaps, but where Preliat went, clan Mantis went, and he was clan Mantis.

As he was introduced to Triam his expression softened, and as she began to try and rise to shake his hand he instead moved forward and sunk low so that the woman bearing child would not have to get up to shake the hand he now extended to her. "I am indeed his brother, but please, call me Silas. I hear the looks thing a lot." He chuckled lightly, demeanor altogether less hostile than before thanks to the easing of the tension in the air.

"And you're Triam, I've heard quite a lot about you, your exploits on the battlefield are incredible." He complimented the hardened mercenary, with child or not she still was a warrior, and Silas would always have respect for that.

(Sorry! College is crazy)

Triam was put at ease and resettled herself as Silas stooped lower for her to shake his hand, to which she was grateful for. She had long gone past the point of being embarrassed about her present difficulties, and as she came closer to the expected date the more grateful she had come to be about these small considerations in the few interactions with people she had. Triam smiled at Silas.

"I'm glad my exploits have been heard about at all, I've become notoriously known for disappearing and falling flat on my deals. I worried it may have tarnished my reputation and overshadowed my work as a Mercenary..." Her smile softened a bit, "Think I might be on a long term hiatus from that line of work anyway." She paused a second looking at the significant bulge of her stomach.

"Speakin' of my boy," She said placing a hand over her stomach, the words 'my boy' being a bit foreign to her. "I haven't got a name for him yet. I've named a whole assembly line of gadgets before, and a few droids, but I'll admit this is my first person... in case we never see each other again, Preliat, which would sincerely sadden me if we allowed it, I don't suppose you might have a name for him?" She said curiously, wondering how he would react to having the honor of naming her first born.

The weight of her words, despite their casual tone- was important. He hadn't named a child since his firstborn. He also had never named a child. He could only think of one- the name that he would've given his son. His words came soft, softer than his usual tone. Preliat rarely raised his voice- he only screamed in battle."Cassus."He looked to his brother, then to Triam. Cassus was a nice name- a Mandalorian one, at that. The child would have a Concordian name, but no Mandalorian heritage. Unless he so chose to have one later on.

He looked over to Triam, having given her his answer. He still had a plethora of questions and things to say, but his mouth could only form a few words for the moment."Does it scare you, Triam- motherhood?"Preliat did well as a father- for the short amount of time he was one. He just hoped that Triam's child never had to go through what his child, and he, did. Peace was the preferred option.
