Ellie Omera
Character
Location: Orbiting gas giant Onkora on the edge of the Orus system, home of the planet Arsenae
Strong winds rolled across the massive gas giant Onkora, its multi colored clouds swirling in unique shapes as the gasses mixed with one another in a kaleidoscope of color. Lighting flashed amongst the clouds frequently and violently. Chaotic and beautiful at the same time from high up in the very edges of the planets orbital grasp.
From above, the Trireme class star destroyer Thena slowly orbited the planet. Far enough away to view the entire planet, but close enough to witness the mesmerizing scene below. Most of the display screens in the bridge had been either removed or rearranged. Any available space had been covered in view screens, leaving an effect as if the were sitting in a transparent room, with the planet Onkora as its main focus. A circular table surrounded by chairs had been placed in the center. While a privacy shield had been placed to separate what few crew memebers remained and expected guests.
Ellie stood on the bridge, eyes locked on the view screens displaying the planet. She had to admit, it was beautiful to look at, but her thoughts weren't fully on the planet. They resided on the upcoming meeting that was going to happen on this very bridge. Normally meetings on the bridges of star destroyers were ones of battle, but today was different. Today would be talks of building a new space station in order to strengthen the bonds of two factions. The Galactic Alliance and the Silver Jedi Concord. The idea of a space station had been put forward by the Arsenians, who had offered to build the station on the edge of their system. There were a few who would probably say they did this as a way to benefit themselves, it's true that it would but that wasn't the entire reason. The system of Orus was the halfway point between the capitals of both factions, a meet in the middle sort of thing. The most obvious reason was to strengthen bonds in a galaxy were allies were scarce and enemies lurked in every shadow. For now, the station was nothing but ideas on blueprints. Hopefully after today, it would become something more.
