Though Akiya had created the Clone Army in the way that complied with Velran's demands, he wanted to expand on the Clone Army creating advanced and specialized units. Unbeknownst to the beautiful, frightened and naive scientist, Velran took a sample of Akiya's DNA and began using it a template to create the Butterfly Unit. Thanks to Igen Jitters' modifications, the Butterfly Unit consists of clones of Akiya who not only maintained her knowledge of Biology but were also biologically augmented to be more stable and more durable than the average Jango Fett clone. Depending on their personalities or talents that they portray after growth, members of the Butterfly Unit are trained in their specialization from spies to officers. The Butterfly Unit are born to be leaders and powerful soldiers who are fiercely loyal to the Empire but more importantly to Velran Kilran himself.
- Intent: To expand on the Clone Army lore for the Empire of the Lost and to give users a generic template to use as a frame of reference when creating Ada Wong clones.

- Description: The Butterfly Unit is comprised entirely of clones taken from the genetically altered template of
Akiya Orime
. Unlike the Jango Fett Clones who are created to fight on the front lines, the Butterfly unit are created as specialists ranging from stealth operatives, military officers, to assassins. To assist with this, the Butterfly unit is equipped with state-of-the-art implants and thus aren't suspectable to insanity compared to the expendable Jango Fett clones. However, unlike the Jango Fett clones who are ready for battle the moment they're out of the cloning tube. A Butterfly Clone must undergo rigorous training which can last for months and therefore are created in a much smaller quantity compared to the ones in the Grand Army of the Lost.

Kanni Ugaiya Kilran
: The first clone created codenamed: Subject Zero and is Velran's "daughter". She is an assassin as well as a field commander for the Empire of the Lost. Kanni's appearance is based off of Akiya's younger self. - Clarissa : An inexact clone of Akiya, she is trained as a weapons specialist and a gunner and is currently a crew member on a Talos MBT.
