- Walking ArmoryThe Cabur Beskar'gam was designed to be as versatile as a Mandalorian is expected to be. For this reason, the armor has been equipped with a plethora of on-board systems and armaments; with each poised to address a variety of enemy threats.
- Having been composed of the "fabled" Beskar of Mandalore, the Cabur Beskar'gam is incredibly resilient. Its plating is effectively immune to the blades of lightsabers and is excellent against blaster bolts. In addition, the plating offers standard protection against kinetic weaponry when compared to other, Galactic armors.
- Electronic WarfareAlthough efforts have been made to defend against EMP or Ion-based assaults - such as Agrinium throughout and a Combat De-Ionizer - the totality of the Cabur Beskar'gam's on-board systems are vulnerable to said attacks to a large degree.
- Mandalorian Iron is known for its legendary ability to withstand energy-based assaults, but it does not offer mythic protection against Sonic or Explosive weaponry whatsoever. In fact, both of the a forenamed weapon types are extremely effective against the Cabur Beskar'gam.
- Due to the demands of the Acumen HUD Suite and the miscellaneous onboard systems, the Strike Armor features a dedicated power pack. Damage or Loss of this back-mounted necessity will decimate the ensemble’s effectiveness.
- Dedicated jammers/scramblers have the capacity to eliminate the effectiveness of the Acumen HUD Suite.
Mandalorians are very territorial creatures.
Throughout their storied history, there has been no greater theme than their devotion to Mandalore herself. It mattered not what wars or ideals plagued the Galaxy, the children of Manda'yaim always placed the planet first - and always rallied to her defense. But what happens when a collection of these warriors are displaced from their ancestral home? What happens what Mandalorians are forced to exist without Mandalore as apart of their daily lives? Put simply, old habits die hard.
The Cabur Beskar'gam is a testament to the validity of this mantra. As the Mandalorian Empire rose became the dominant force on Manda'yaim, there were many who chose not to join their ranks. Some defected due to matters of succession. Others, for simply being Sensitive to the Force. Whatever their reasons were, there was a minority of these homeless warriors who eventually came to settle within the Southern Systems. They organized themselves behind a new banner and devoted their days to upholding their ancestral values.
They devoted themselves to protecting their new Home.
The Cabur Beskar'gam is the badge of office of the Mandalorian Protectors. It is just as modular, versatile, and hardy as any warrior hailing from the distant world. It can be upgraded and modified to suit the needs and combat style of any Protector - so much so that the sole constant are the beskar plates which came from home.
