After discovering that [member="Veiere Arenais"] was not bound for Sriluur to seek out information on the Hutt Cartel and their war against her, but had instead gone to fight in the battle on Atrisia, Kay needed some fresh air. While sitting at her desk and trying to get some work done, she had been unable to focus. Her thoughts were on Veiere. Through their Force-bond, she had felt the Darkness that surrounded her Jedi bodyguard and how it pulled on him. So it wasn't surprising that she was worried. And she was feeling regret as well. There was a very real chance that he could lose his life in that battle, as she had seen the holonews reports and knew how brutal it was. And with that she would have lost her chance to let him know how she felt. It had been nearly 13 years since her husband was murdered by a Sith Lord, and she had kept everyone at arm's length ever since. Until now. Veiere was a good match, but the battle over Atrisia was a frightening one.

Unable to take the confines of the Presidential Palace anymore, Kay got herself dressed into something more suitable for a speederbike ride.

As soon as she stepped out into the hallway with her helmet tucked under her arm, Einon, the head of her security team was right on her heels. "Off to the canyons again, Madam President?"

"Yes, Einon, just for an hour or two. I need to think. You can stay here."

"I don't have to tell you that you aren't going alone."

"I don't expect you to. But no more than two. I don't want any of them to get lost."

"And I don't want you to intentionally lose them again. One more stunt like that and Veiere will insist that we put a tracker on you." Einon brought out his commlink and assembled Kay's escort.

Minutes later, Kay was zooming across the field at the back of the Palace, with two escort speederbikes behind her. They were dressed in a similar style as she was, so the three of them looked like some small speederbike gang instead of a Head of State and her bodyguards. It was all part of the ploy.

Kay pushed the throttle and tucked herself on as they came along the cliff's edge. There had been a few times when she had freaked out passengers as she jumped her speeder off the cliff. Of course what they would discover a second later was that the drop was only 15 feet below them, a narrow path leading further into the depths of the Twin Canyons. One of the guards slowed his bike down a little as he watched her make the jump. "I hate it when she does that..." By the time that he got to the bottom, he caught only the tail end of his partner's speeder as it turned a corner. The echoes bouncing off the canyon walls made it difficult to know where it was coming from. At least the President didn't do this at night.

Kay almost knew the canyons off by heart, though this time she wasn't planning on going to the nearby beach. She just wanted to ride, to forget everything and focus on the twists and turns in the hopes that she wouldn't get lost herself. As she glanced back over her shoulders to see how far back her escorts were, she thought she saw a few dark figures on the ledges, but there was no way to know for sure as she had already gone past.

One final turn to her left caused her to slow her speeder down. Dead end. Kay stopped her speeder and removed her helmet, setting it behind her seat as she retrieved a bottle of water and waited for her two escorts to catch up.

Commenor.

A neutral planet stepped in trade its skies filled with heavy air and space traffic with nearly every ship under the sun entering its orbit. For the former Director of Sith Intelligence and someone with such considerable sway as Darth Prazutis it was child's play. A small freighter was easy enough to obtain on the market. Forged documents and sets of fake identities for every single one of the crew and fake supply manifests were all child's play. What made it easier was an inside man, a corrupt official in the Commenor Spaceport his agents reached out to. So once the nondescript freighter entered the spaceport its smuggling compartments filled to the brim with arms and armor, including crates lined with an sensor proof resin carrying the Dark Lords equipment, they were passed through quickly and efficiently down to the surface.

The freighter landed in a field of trees positioned a moderate distance (easily covered on speeders) on the opposite end of the canyon just an hour before the President's departure from her palace. It was then that the Dark Lord and his four heavily armored Crownguard rode forth atop nexu imperial speeder bikes. There was only one reason, one person that brought the Dark Lord to Commenor: [member="Lady Kay"]. A woman gifted in the force who desperately tried to hide her gifts while toeing the line of good and justice. She was methodical, careful, and incredibly precise but she just wasn't precise enough to go unnoticed by the Dark Titan. There were plans in place that Kay was apart of, and so an extensive and highly thorough operation was prepared just for her. Once the group entered the Twin Canyons they split up with the group of crownguard remaining behind in pairs hidden just inside the canyon entrance they came from, while Prazutis went much deeper.

For this operation the dark lord wore his full ensemble of gear, including the infamous dark plate both pairs of lightsabers, and a blade slung on his back. But instead of the typical dark crystal around his neck he wore a taozin amulet to conceal his force presence. He hid the speeder in a small alcove while he himself stood on a ledge, using cover to hide his massive frame. It was here he watched, reaching out with his acutely attuned senses, and those the gadgets of his armor offered. It wasn't until the roar of the president and her escorts speeders zooming through the canyons that he accessed the channel to his men, a sharp two clicks to signal it was time. It became clear as he saw the enemy through his HUD, and through feeling Kay's life essence she lost the escorts easily who tried desperately to catch up. Unbenownst to the group a medium range jammer went up then.

The Sith Lord grinned as Kay's speeder ripped past his position, going up about a hundred yards before making a sharp left into what appeared to be a dead end, he would've been foolish not to do some recon before they arrived after all. By all appearances the escorts who followed her didn't know these canyons as well, or they weren't as big of risk takers as her. It showed when they came to a halt just below his position. The first to speak was an older man with a gruff voice, banging on his helmet "Is your comlink working? I'm getting nothing but static." The guard said sighing heavily.

"Must be these damn canyons out here its possible they could be blocking the connection. We can ask the president she's just down that pass." The other a far younger sounding man responded. Just as the younger man began to move away it happened. Prazutis launched into the air and down towards the group through his jump pack. The sound of its thrusters reached the two first just before the miniature rocket did. The older mans sounds of surprise were cut off by the explosion of a wrist rocket engulfing him and his speeder in a puff of fire. The inferno had just reached the second mans speeder who gave out with a cry of surprise as the giant of a man surged towards him "Oh my god Tom, the president!" He said panicked. The younger man blasted off at full speed as the Sith Lord flew after him, but little did he know the man was going too fast to make the turn into Kay's dead end. The speeder crashed into the wall throwing him about ten feet away as debris scattered.

The man hesitantly got to his feet, a seven inch piece of metal driven into his leg now covered with crimson blood. "P-President. It's not safe h-he." Just then Kay saw a massive mountain of a man, a dark titan nearly seven feet tall fully covered in armor round the corner. Prazutis held the runeblade Daesumnor in one hand as he swept behind the limping man. He lifted the guard into the air by his throat cutting off what little more he may have said before driving the blade right through his gut from tip to hilt, a waterfall of blood erupting from the massive wound. As if that wasn't enough he ripped it out of the mans side spattering his blood all over the canyon wall and possibly the woman himself. As the corpse hit the ground Prazutis pulled the taozin amulet off storing it away and letting his massive dark side presence roll forth like a choking fog to engulf the woman.

"Kay Larr, President of Commenor." The man said his deep voice bellowed through the annunciator of his helmet, he used a cloth to clean the blade of blood, before sheathing it. It was then that he pulled out his lightsaber and approached her "You've hidden yourself away here on Commenor quite well carving out a domain among these people. You did everything right, almost everything." Prazutis said, the snap hiss of his lightsaber rang out, its red glow illuminating the canyon walls. "You cannot hide anymore." Prazutis added just before he charged to engage.

Kay heard the explosion of the first speeder, causing her to freeze in mid sip, her water bottle held in position at her mouth. For a moment she thought that the two escorts were just bad drivers. That is until the second one came crashing through. She grabbed her commlink and shouted into it. "Einon, we need a medic team STAT! Einon?!!" What came across her line was nothing but static. Her guard's final words sent a chill down her spine, which only grew as [member="Darth Prazutis"] came into view. She clenched her jaw as his life was taken right before her eyes. At least....it was quick.

She didn't flinch as the blood splattered on her clothing and speederbike. Kay was trying to focus on her escape. She was still straddling her speeder when Praz's Dark presence was brought forth, cold and heavy, making her feel as though gravity had increased around her. It was nauseating. "I don't know what you're talking about. I have no bounties on my head." Perhaps the ridiculousness of her statement would throw him off a bit, make him hesitate, she wasn't sure. But at the sight of his lightsaber, her heart skipped a beat. Veiere had told her to always carry her lightsaber with her, now that she had one again. But for what was just to be a short ride through the canyon, she didn't listen. There was no weapon on her but the machine that she sat on.

As soon as Praz started his charge, she hit the throttle and accelerator, her helmet flying off her seat as she headed straight for him on a collision course. There was no way for her to tell how strong his armour was, but if she was lucky, the speederbike could at least cause some damage. In the last seconds before impact, she jumped off her bike and barrel-rolled on the canyon floor over and over until her body skidded to a halt. Without looking back to see what happened or if her plan even worked, she ran as fast as her legs and her adrenalin could carry her through the canyon. If her memory served her correctly, if luck was on her side, she could make it to one of the old mining tunnels that was only 700 metres away.

As the woman blasted on the throttle of her bike a part of Prazutis seemed to anticipate it. She was backed into a corner and on a motorcycle, she could use it to leap off and over him if she wanted to avoid combat or she could've stood and fight. But by all accounts he's seen so far she preferred flight over fight. The sith lord stopped and clipped to the lightsaber as she charged towards him, the sith thrust his right hand out and with a growl an explosive wave of telekinetic energy stopped the charging speeder cold, in fact smashing it hard against the canyon walls. But just as one might think he lost sight of the president [member="Lady Kay"] they needed to think again. Micro cameras on his helmet allowed the dark lord to see behind him. Kay was agile as she made her professional landing and took off like a shot.

The tunnels.

Suddenly the presidents plan became clear to Prazutis as he spun to face her. She was trying to get into the tunnels and either hide and hope security will come looking for her, or escape. Thankfully they were still a good distance away and he was well within range. For this operation he had selected a pair of imperial blaster pistols for the job. It always payed to be prepared for each and every situation, and he was more than willing to use conventional weaponry if it did the job. Prazutis drew one of the pistols and aimed down at Kay while the built in electrobinoculars zoomed in, and the rangefinder displayed how far she was. But it was the state of the art multi-spectral target assessor, multi frequency targeting acquisition system, and combat sensor that gave him everything he needed to target the back of her kneecap and pull back on the trigger.

The green round ripped from the barrel through the air with the intention of burning through Kay's leg. If the round missed he'd fire two more. Regardless of the outcome Prazutis took off on his jump pack towards her, landing in front of her a distance.

If only Kay was as quick as lightning when she ran, or had eyes on the back of her head, or that she had a shorter distance to run. But that wasn't the case today. The exploding sound of her speederbike being smashed against the canyon told her enough. Her time was up. Still, she kept running, straining her legs to move faster even when she heard the blaster fire behind her. A split second later, her right leg buckled in pain underneath her and she tumbled to the ground, her momentum rolling her over before she landed on her back. From that viewpoint, she saw [member="Darth Prazutis"] fly overhead and land in front of the tunnel that she was so desperately trying to reach.

Her heart was still racing as she pushed herself up, not yet wanting to reveal her Force use or the extent of her skills. Kay preferred to have an ace up her sleeve whenever possible. Perhaps it was the politician in her. She winced as she moved her injured leg and got to her feet in the momentary lapse in the chase, palming a few small rocks in hr hand. It seemed as though her enemy was waiting for her to make a move. Despite her knowledge of the canyons, she was at a clear disadvantage at this moment.

"Who are you? Who are you working for? What is it that you want? Commenor has attacked no one and any of the Sith that have chosen to stay after the One Sith lost their power have not been harassed or bothered, so there is no revenge for you to take against us." Just get him talking. Stall. He spoke earlier, so he was clearly capable.

Meanwhile, at the Presidential Palace, one of the guards had called Einon up to the balcony that overlooked the fields and cliffs of the canyons. "Sir, we've spotted smoke in the canyons. Two plumes and now, three. There are three, sir."

Einon frowned deeply as he brought up his commlink. "Madam President, are you just having lunch or forcing you all to go on foot?" Static was all of the answer that he got. He had heard that trouble always found Kay, and the more he was around her, the more that he learned that she really was a magnet for it. "Have you tried reaching her escorts?"

"Yes sir, I only got static."

"Get a med team and a half dozen soldiers down there right away. Remind them to take the bikes as it's too narrow for anything else we've got. I want them on their way in ten minutes."

"Yes, sir." The guard left the balcony in a hurry to fulfil his orders.

Einon on the other hand kept staring at the smoke plumes on the horizon. He saw no ships overhead, no other sign of activity. "Oh Kay, who did you piss off this time?" [member="Veiere Arenais"] was going to have his head if he found out.

While [member="Lady Kay"] was excellent at hiding her abilities of the force even from the prying eyes of press, and rival politicians she couldn't hide it from him. Prazutis was an anzati-epicanthix hybrid with an heightened sense and the ability to feel the life essences of others, and force users depending on their strengths were considerably stronger. So as she spoke to the dark titan he didn't say a word even as she appeared beaten. If it were him on the ground in the face of such a capable opponent there's one thing he'd do: stall. The many smoke plumes that he couldn't have prevented following the guards not reporting in all told him that he needed to incapacitate her fast before they locked down the space port and brought security to bear.

As Kay began to speak Prazutis snapped a flashbang from the grenade hook and armed it, tossing it at the ground so it detonated in front of the president who was now looking at him and talking. The polarized anti-flash lenses of his helmet filtered out the burst of light. Quickly making use of the time he now bought himself from the hopefully disoriented Kay, Prazutis weaved his hands delicately through the air in complex motions, speaking in the ancient sith tongue "Titsû ri tendrils iw jina'tis ensnare ki drasosûtâona." As he ended the brief incantation a physical darkness formed in a fog around Kay. The dark lord then made swiping motions through the air and the pure dark side energy wrapped around her in an nigh unbreakable mesh of energy.

If his ploy succeeded Prazutis's next move would be to walk up to Kay and grab a tuft of her hair, with a simple application of strength he dashed her head against the ground knocking her out. Prazutis flipped Kay on her back and slipped a collar around her neck first to end any further use of the force, before pulling her arms behind her back and placing on a set of tight shackles to bind them together. He then slung her over his back and took off in his jump pack down about fifty yards into the grove where his speeder bike was, he'd get on and sling Kay into a secure position before taking off.

Kay cried out as the grenade sent forth it's explosion of light. She covered her eyes and stumbled back onto her backside. She tried vainly to back away in a backwards crawl, her momentarily blinded eyes widening as she heard the Sith sorcery. "No," her mind screamed, "not another one". The Darkness surrounded her as her eyes began to recover, only to tighten so that she couldn't move. "HEEEELP!!!" One last cry out for help before she was knocked unconscious and her whole world went black.

A single tear ran down her cheek as she was carried away by [member="Darth Prazutis"] , bound and secured, with no sense of what was going to happen.

The only visible evidence of his presence in the grove would be the smashed comlink of Kay-Larr as his speeder ripped out of the canyon at full speed, the cadre of four guardsmen speeding right alongside him. Now no doubt with reinforcements coming they were on the clock, they had to work fast. As soon as the speeders approached the freighter with its ramp down they zoomed into the cargo bay, immediately jumping off one of the guardsman ran at full speed to the bridge while the ramp shut and the ships engines flared, while the other three carried Kay first to the med bay. It was here that the knocked out form of Kay laid out on a raised metal table and stripped of all possessions, equipment, belts, and any other possession.

The doctor and nurse on staff dressed Kay in a dark gray jumpsuit befitting a prisoner removing all other articles she might've worn. The shackles on her hands were removed prior to the whole endeavor, with her being knocked out there weren't a use for them. Next a powerful anesthetic was injected directly into her bloodstream to ensure she was kept knocked out for the next several hours. The freighter was cheap bought on the black market many systems away prior to the operation, it didn't exactly have a detention chamber. The burn wound on her leg was dressed and bandaged instead of using any accelerated healing. Once the process was complete her hands were bound again to matching leg shackles and a thick black veil was secured around her face. "Bring her to the cargo bay, two of you will remain there with the prisoner." Prazutis ordered before sweeping through the ship.

The cargo bay was almost virtually empty with the exception of a small group of necessities just enough to pass through customs, it would hold the comatose, shackled and force cut Kay for now. The hum of the engines as the freighter lifted from the surface of Commenor and blasted off joining with other traffic in the sky. The Sith Lord was given constant updates while he stood in one of the freighters hallways in front of the smugglers compartment. It took him precisely ten minutes to get his armor off and secured, an extra five to secure the weapons and artifacts back in their sealed containers. Under the armor Prazutis wore a double breasted black tunic with matching trousers, a black belt with a silver belt buckle and matching black gloves and combat boots.

Once everything was safely secured the lid was shut and the goliath swept into the cockpit of the ship where two more additional crownguard sat manning the controls as the customs scans begun. "Have you hailed our friend in customs?" Prazutis asked. The crownguard looked back towards him and nodded his facial expressions hidden by the helmet he wore "Yes my lord. Were being cleared...now." Not even a moment later customs sent the go-ahead, and the ship blasted off into hyperspace. But while they did jump they only jumped out of the sector before stopping. This portion of the plan involved getting rid of the evidence, that being the freighter and anything they may use to identify it. So when it exited hyperspace the freighter was met by the Immortal-Class Dreadnaught "Harbinger", flagship of Darth Prazutis and a small escort force of star destroyers and supporting frigates.

They were brought into the hangar of the Harbinger where crews were there to empty out the freighter of all its contents including the God-Prince's gear and bring [member="Lady Kay"] to the containment cell. It was here that Kay finally woke up the collar safely secured around her neck filled with fresh vials to ensure she was cut from the force still. Prazutis grinned as she stirred and spoke "Welcome Kay Larr.."

It wasn't until after [member="Darth Prazutis"] and his cohorts had taken off to the skies, that the six soldiers and medical team arrived on scene to the bits of twisted and melted metal that were once speederbikes. The medical team went to the older guard's charred body first, gathering as much information as they could, before they put it onto a stretcher. Next was the youngest of the two guards. The splattered blood and impalement wound gaping through his chest and leg revealed all that was needed. Again more information was gathered before they picked up his body as well, laying it onto the stretcher. Finally they came upon the third speederbike. But......no body. The medical team breathed a small sigh of relief, but still, that didn't mean that she wasn't in danger.

One of the soldiers opened a channel on his commlink to Einon. "Sir, it looks as though the Madam President has been kidnapped. I repeat, it looks like the Madam President has been kidnapped."

Einon's eyes narrowed as he heard the message. No doubt it was the Hutt Cartel. They were already at war with her, but this? "Tell no one about this. None of the personnel are to speak of it. If anyone asks, our Madam President is in session with the Elders. Her Ministers will be informed of the same. We cannot let this out yet, understood?"

"Understood, sir. My men and I will do a thorough investigation and sweep of the area. We'll report to you when we are finished."

"Good. Einon out." He shut off his commlink and then threw it to the ground, smashing it to pieces. First [member="Veiere Arenais"] was gone and unreachable and now Kay was kidnapped. He was not going to like being the bearer of that bad news when the Jedi returned. If only he had stopped her from going out there...

After snapping himself out of 'what ifs', Einon headed down to his office to grab another commlink and to contact Customs. He needed lists and manifests of every ship going in and out in the past 12 hours and for the next three days. All cargo was to be inspected thoroughly.

Of course by that time, Kay and her kidnappers were already out of orbit. But maybe, they'd at least have a bit of evidence. Another thing for Einon to be on the lookout for was a ransom demand. For now though, it was too soon.

Kay on the other hand experienced sound first as she came back into consciousness, though it was distant and quiet. Then came the sense of touch. It moved through her body like a slow tide, moving from her toes to her head and as it did so, her vision returned. At first it was like a small tunnel that widened as her full consciousness returned. And then what had felt like a nightmare revealed itself to be true.

She wasn't at home.

Her eyes soon found the man that towered over her. The tone and affliction in his voice were the same as the one that captured her, only less amplified. She didn't try testing her bonds as of yet, instead she just stared back at him. "Who are you?"... Of course she had a million questions, but she was still groggy,so it was best to keep things simple. For now...

The items that she had was a pouch of sapir tea leaves, small kettle, a cup, firestarter and small pack of food rations that were in a small satchel

The Sith Lord remained silent to her question while he stared at her menacingly with his piercing sulfuric yellow eyes. In truth he was listening to the commanding Admiral of his ship inform him that the freighter after being wiped was completely eviscerated following a brief assault by the Harbingers batteries. For this operation to be successful there needed be be absolutely no evidence that would lead back to him. That was the same reason why all fake and forged names were used in their infiltration of the planet, why any footage they might've gotten of the man himself was scrubbed by their inside connection. Now in this remote section of space it was why the shuttle was disintegrated under the might of the massive warship. They were safely in hyperspace now on the way back home to Panatha.

"Who am i? You may call me Meistras for now." Prazutis said as he paced around [member="Lady Kay"] like a predator stalking their prey looking her up and down before he settled back in front of her. "We are going to get very acquainted very soon that I can promise you." He added as he approached her. Prazutis rolled the pant leg of her jump suit up to reveal the bandaged wound that the medical team had patched up. It was fine and she was going to be fine, but it didn't mean that the wound stopped hurting. They didn't give her any painkillers when they sewed the wound up, no doubt she would start to feel it as she woke up. "I see the fires of rebellion in your eyes.." Prazutis said as he pulled one of the black gloves off of his massive hand, he called upon the black power of the dark side. Suddenly his hand seemingly lit up with a white glow as it heated up to far beyond boiling point. He then grabbed the bare skin of her wound just then.

If she had no clue what was going on then the scorching hot hand that scorched on her flesh inflicting extreme pain and agony up her previously wounded leg would give her the inclination. Prazutis then gave her a titanic punch to the gut. Once that was over he stopped and rolled her pant leg back down. "We will put those out in time don't you worry. But if you continue to let them burn I will break you." Prazutis stepped away from the women just then as the Admiral spoke into his comlink once again. The Sith Lord turned away and spoke one last time "We will be more acquainted soon." As the man stepped out of the room and the doors slammed shut all the lights turned off in the chamber leaving her there in pitch blackness. Quite suddenly a loud sharp, close to ear piercing sound would flow out of loud speakers located in the four corners of the room. The sound was just enough to ruin any chances of any sleep really. Over time it was almost maddening.

While she had no concept of time passing Kay was left in complete darkness listening to that sound for what came to be three days of possibly no rest. During that time she was not visited, she was not spoken to, she did not see anyone or hear anything except for the whirring sound. What was more agonizing was during that time she was not fed an single ounce of food or given an ounce of liquid. Additionally she would also find that she was no treated or looked at for the attacks he inflicted on her before departing. It was on the third day without warning that suddenly the lights flicked on.

But the sound continued playing.

Meistras? That sounded like Master in another tongue and she wasn't about to call [member="Darth Prazutis"] that in any tongue. So for now she was determined to not call him anything. Was he a Knight of Ren? That was a possibility, though to her knowledge, she had no issues with the First Order. Their territory was still too far away for them to gain any hold on Commenor despite having an Embassy there. She had no quarrels with anyone outside of the Hutt Cartel, and this was beyond their capabilities. No. He seemed to have been searching for her for quite some time. But why? The answers will come. She just had to be patient.

Kay swallowed against the collar as he spoke of them getting acquainted soon. She had never had a collar on her of any type, though she had removed many slave and shock collars from hundreds of individuals. This one however was different. It was far bulkier, and as she had no access to the Force, it had to be the cause somehow.

She looked down as he rolled up her pant leg, now taking note that she wasn't in her speederbike suit anymore, but in a more basic jumpsuit. As soon as Praz's hand turned white, she knew what he was about to do. The moment his hand touched her wound, she screamed, instinct causing her to pull against her shackles as her body just wanted her to move away from what was causing it pain. But the shackles held her firmly in place. Once the nerve endings near the burn was damaged, the pain subsided, though it began to throb as the flesh started to blister and pulsate. Then came the punch. She wasn't expecting that, nor could she avoid it. The might of it knocked the wind out of her and for a moment she couldn't breath, until her stomach muscles relaxed enough to allow her to gasp for breath that was soon followed by a fit of coughing.

Kay watched him while he left, but did not look into his eyes. She didn't want him to see.

Darkness soon came, the shutting of the door echoing in the containment room. It was clear that she was on a very large vessel for there was a slight hum and vibration to the room that indicated travel through hyperspace. But where was she being taken? And why? Her mind was still searching for the answers she caved. It had to be political, for what else was there for her?

She jumped as the high pitched sound flooded the room and fought against the shackles again, trying to pull at least one wrist free, but it was of no use. They were on too tight, so she couldn't plug her ears, couldn't cover them. But as her arms were held above her head, she could lean her head over on one side and cover one ear at a time. The sound, the pain, soon that was all that she could think about.

By day two her body was shaking. She was hungry, thirsty, exhausted and without any sense of time. She had not been allowed to heal her wounds, to relax her tired body or be provided with any comfort. And it just went on and on.....

By day three her ears had started to tune out the sound, the ear drums getting damaged by the constant noise. Her fingers and hands lacked any feeling in them and her feet were starting to swell. Exhaustion won it's battle and she dozed on and off in a light sleep.

That is until the light came on. It woke her up instantly and she tried to turn away from it. When her eyes finally adjusted, she looked to the door and waited....

The doors of the chamber slid open and inside came four of the armored Crownguard including one man dressed in a labcoat and a surgeons mask. Quite suddenly the field containing [member="Lady Kay"] dispersed and she fell right onto the floor. Immediately the soldiers descended on her with the three guardsmen holding her down while the fourth one rolled up her arm sleeve and held her arm outstretched. The surgeon approached and inserted an syringe into the vein in her arm and injected a clear substance. By all accounts to Kay the substance had to be some sort of anesthesia, her vision faded soon afterward and she was out.

Vain Hollow.

Blacktalon Peak, the Black Spire of the Iron Mountains, Lair of the God-King. The dark place known as Vain Hollow held many names to the local people, rumors and legends ran even more rampant the further one went from Panatha. One common nickname did carry across planetary boundaries however: "Rarsaza it ri Siqsa" meaning Den of the Demon.Vain Hollow Citadel was visible for many miles around, a dagger in the night standing defiant in the Iron Mountains. A massive citadel carved in, under, and around the massive Blacktalon Peak with massive ornate statues of many Zambrano figures most notably the visage of the Black-Iron Tyrant himself Darth Carnifex standing tall over the winding path that led to its well protected gates, jagged knife rocks jutted out from and around of this structure.

Anyone approaching with skill in the force would feel the ominous, thick dark side presence that hung heavily in the area around the citadel, everything was saturated by the dark side of the force. The presence was so thick, so despicable it was like a smothering smog in the cold air. It was hard to feel relaxed near this place, and the ominous statues often made those feel as if someone was watching them from those massive peaks. The unnerving presence that something terribly, terribly wrong was going on with each passing moment, as if the cloaked visage of the grim reaper himself chose this place as his favorite reaping grounds. If it weren't for it's infamous reputation, its infamous leader, and its powerful dark side presence Vain Hollow might have actually looked quite beautiful the way it was shaped in, out, and around the citadel clearly by a caring hand. It might have actually been a structure worthy of admiring, if all of the other factors didn't make ones very own skin crawl. While air traffic was heavier in other areas of Panatha the only ships flying over the skies of this massive structure were wing after wing of starfighters running patrol patterns, anything close enough that didn't transmit the current moments security clearance that changed several times a day was immediately descended upon and shot down.

Outside of the citadel from a decent viewpoint one could see the swarm of beings that moved around this place. Many large hordelike patrol parties of elite graug from the Iron Horde of Fornow that patrolled the exterior with monstrous doglike monstrosities as well as some of the lower levels working in tandem with rotating elements of the Blackblade Guard stationed here along with other elite groups of security forces. All along the high peaks row after row of dark iron and stone battlements teemed with gun turrets, sharpshooters, assault droids, spotlights, and a massive swarm of cameras equipped with varying degrees of vision. These were a wicked, elite legion of killers who aren't too far off from their vile nature as the God-King they serve.

Deep beneath the mountain in the bowls of the hidden labyrinthine system of dungeons, labs, vaults, armorys and other portions of the secret, sealed off layer was where Kay-Larr was brought. First she was brought to a medical bay where her leg wounds were properly treated and then she was injected with enough nutrients to bring her back to health again. Throughout the entire time the collar on her neck was refilled periodically to ensure the continued severance of the force. When Kay woke up it was in a cell with rough, dark gray walls and no windows, but just as she continued to wake up the lights completely shut off and something unique happened. Loud irritating sounds blared through loud speakers bouncing off the walls in her chamber to assault her ear drums from all angles, but what came worse was the irregularity of these sounds. In fact they were never the same always different and always so loud that it would ensure sleep and any peaceful time was close to impossible.

There was no way to tell time in the walls of this dark chamber but she was left alone in this chamber for two days without contact, food, or water in freezing temperatures. Nothing but the maddening sound to rip at her eardrums and absolutely no light. It was on this next day that without warning the lights were snapped on and the doors thrown open. A group of four guardsman stormed into the chamber throwing her up against the wall. One of them punched her in the chest hard while two others forced her down on her knees, locking her arms behind her back in restraints. The last man gagged her and slid a thick black veil over her face so she could not see. The once great President of Commenor, the planetary leader was then dragged down what felt like a series of many twists and turns before she could hear the sound of an opening door. Unlike her cell the air down here was definitely warmer.

Just then her restraints were pulled off and suddenly she was thrown up into the air and slammed down on a hard metal surface. A swarm of figures descended on her laying her spread eagled down to a table, her legs and arms were locked down to the table. The veil was pulled off then and she'd find herself staring at a set of dull gray smooth walls and a bright ceiling. The room was bland with the exception of a long table off to the side filled with a number of colorful chemicals, concoctions, instruments, an entire cutlery set of knives and other wicked devices. There was a single sword locked in a sheath off to the corner and on the opposite corner close to what was her left wall, a coat hangar that held an black leather apron and a white butcher's coat.

Oh that didn't look good. The sight of the guards and the doctor filled her with dread. No sooner did that thought come to mind when her body was released and she fell to the floor, unable to stop herself. She landed hard, dropping like a heavy sack before she was jumped on. Her eyes widened as she saw the doctor approach her with a needle. "No! Don't, please!" But her words fell on deaf ears as she was injected. Waves of warm sleepiness overtook her as she slipped out of conciousness.

Kay slowly came to, it was different this time, however. She woke up as though from too deep of a sleep. The lights went out a split second later. Realizing that she could move, she curled up into a tight ball, shutting her eyes tightly and sticking her fingers into her ears to try to dampen the noise. But it came in waves and bursts of different volume levels, so there was no way to completely shut it out. She rolled onto her knees, still curled up, but laying on them, covering her head and neck with her arms, while keeping her face hidden from view. And it was there that she tried to focus, tried to reach [member="Veiere Arenais"] through the Force even though her access was blocked. Tears flowed as she repeated two words over and over and over as if in a mantra, "I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I'm sorry..."

Her focus was always stolen away when another noise ripped through her ears. It happened too many times for her to count and she had no sense of how long that was. At times she clawed at the collar, trying to figure out a way to disable it without being able to see it. She tried getting her fingers in between her neck and the device, but there wasn't much room and her fingers were too cold for her to get a proper feel for any compartments.

It was during one of these attempts that the lights came back on. She shut her eyes from the brightness and then felt herself lifted and held against the cold wall, only to then be punched and then held down on her knees while her arms were secured against her back. Kay struggled, trying to get herself to her feet, but then a gag was forced into her mouth and her head was covered. She tried to spit it out, force it out with her tongue as it only made her dry mouth feel drier, but it didn't seem to work. She lacked the strength that she wished she had, barely keeping up with them in order to attempt to not get dragged.

Then she felt heat, a warmth that was almost inviting. But given her luck so far, she knew that she was in for anything but a good time. She made muffled cries as she was hoisted in the air and dropped onto a metal slab. Once her arms and legs were strapped and the veil removed, a cold chill ran through her body. Memories flooded back of the painful experiments on her healing ability was conducted by an evil Arkanian scientist that she knew of by the name of Mayhem. His experiments left their mark and it was because of him that she was rendered infertile. The white coat hanging there made her think of [member="Thraxis"] , for he wore such a coat whenever he portrayed his Doctor persona to torment her mind.

And now she was facing torture again. Only by who and why, she still had no answers. And no way of knowing how to make it stop. Death wasn't the answer. She could have died a few times over by now, yet they would do enough to bring her up to health until the next round. So there had to be some kind of meaning in all of this. There just had to be.

[member="Lady Kay"] wouldn't have to wait very long before the door behind her opened and two figures came into the room both of which wore the garb of doctors and both men were exceedingly tall with black hair and the masks of surgeons on. They approached Kay and while one carefully cut the jump suit off of her so she was down to the barest of garb showing more skin than clothing, the other one walked over to the table and moved to grab something. The doctor than turned revealing a syringe as he walked over to Kay, injecting its contents directly into her blood stream. Immediately Kay would feel her body react as it seized up completely paralyzing her from the neck down. She could speak but was unable to move her limbs at all following the injection, and with that the doctors quickly shuffled out of the room.

Then he came.

Prazutis swept into the room like a moving shadow this time wearing a unique helmet in the visage of a black skull that completely encased his head. He was a master of the art of torture with many years of experience, and the helmet through it all was his keepsake. It helped by using an advanced HUD that gave him all the data on Kay's vitals including her heartbeat, including an x-ray vision mode to see through the muscle and flesh. It was packed with all the data he would need for the long session that was about to begin. First he slid on the long white coat, then he fitted the gloves tightly on his hands, and lastly he tied on the apron before moving over to the long table. "Hello Kay." Prazutis said to her while he seized an empty syringe and filled it with a light brown liquid. "Do you know what this is?" Prazutis asked her as he walked towards her, flicking the needle twice before injecting it into her arm. "This lovely chemical here will ensure you remain firmly conscious and fully aware of what's going on around you."

To Prazutis the flesh was a canvas and he was the artist who would create a masterpiece. There was so many options on how to begin with Kay and where to begin. "The light, peace, democracy. I've studied you Kay and everything about you is foolish and naive. But we'll fix all that." Prazutis said as he drew the sword Hearteater from its sheath. The sith sword was extremely rare made entirely out of the gemlike devaronian blood poison and further alchemized. It was one of his favorite gifts bestowed upon him by Kaine for his great successes, and he used it well. The pain blood poison brought was absolutely horrifying, unlike anything one ever experienced before. One merely needed to press the flat of the blade to flesh to cause its great pain, but it spread throughout the body and amplified if it drew blood.

Immediately he began carving right on Kay's chest with the blade making deep and lingering cuts so she'd feel the full brunt of the blood poison at work while he cut runes into her chest, for some time he worked before setting the blade down with the flat part still on her skin creating pain, while he rounded to her head. Prazutis placed his hands on either side of her head tightly as he focused, reaching out with the force and calling upon the black power of the dark side to fuel his strength. Kay's emotions of pain, sorrow and perhaps fear if she felt it would also be consumed to fuel his strength. So while she was physically in pain from the blade at the same time she'd feel a shard of intense psychic pain smash into her mind, filling it with intense agony.

If it was successful Prazutis would use the link he established with the spread eagled Kay to first fill her with fear, and then force her to relive the most painful, sad, and humiliating memories of her entire life over and over again.

Kay was still alone. But her ears created noise when there wasn't any. It was like dull static ringing through them. She looked to her left hand and pulled at the restraint, clenching her jaw as she twisted her wrist to try to pull herself free, having already spat the gag out of her mouth, giving her at least some sense of accomplishment.

But the door opening cause her to jump, her eyes drawn immediately towards it. Everytime a door has opened since her capture, the persons going through it had caused her pain. So her heart beat faster as the two doctors approached. Her modesty was something that she held in high regard, never being one to be scantily clad, so the removal of her jumpsuit and leaving her just in her undergarments was distressing to say the least. Despite the warmth of the room, her body shook as though shivering, the adrenalin now running rampant through her system. The appearance of the needle soon filled her with dread. "Please don't! You're supposed to help people, not hurt them!" But of course her words meant nothing. The needle still came, it's contents flowing through her body. Kay gasped as her body seized up with her muscles becoming taut before her control over them was lost and the doctors had left.

And then [member="Darth Prazutis"] entered. The wicked helmet did nothing more than confirm that there would be nothing but suffering this day. Maybe she'd be lucky enough to pass out as she had before during other battles with torture. "Why are you doing this to me?! What have I done?!" And then he spoke. She was not going to have luck on her side.

Kay shut her eyes tight as she was injected again, despising needles more and more, and also despising him. His next words caused her to sigh. So that was it. He didn't like her pacifism and her growth in power because of it. [member="Veiere Arenais"] had asked her if she could ever walk away from public life and live a more quiet one. She told him that she could and had done so, but politics had it's way of sneaking back into her life. Even now,she only ran as President because her friends figured that it could keep her out of trouble and easier to keep track of. But she was outspoken on many things. It's no doubt that her interviews and commentary on war and the industrialized military complex, plusher successes in having members of warring factions living together in peace, it proved to be far too dangerous for those that thrived on chaos. And now she was being made to suffer for it.

The sword was soon brought upon her skin and as it began to cut, so too did she scream. At first there was no sound as it was caught in her throat, but then it was released. Like a nightmare revisited, each cut brought out another ear piercing scream, hurting her own already damaged ears. She wanted to pass out, but her chemically induced mind wouldn't allow her to succumb.

When he stopped and grabbed her head, she spoke to him, her voice hoarse and broken up. "...You are...a coward to...only be...able to hurt...me...by rendering me...helpless first..." The pain inflicted on her mind stopped her from saying anything further. She shut her eyes tight against the intrusion, the flash of memory of being physically tortured in Mayhem's lab for his experiments told her what Prazutis was doing. With no access to the Force, she couldn't push him out. So she screamed out two words and repeated them over and over, hoping that it would help her visualize a block and cause him to lose his concentration as well. "BRICK WALL!! BRICK WALL!!! BRICK WALL!!!!"

The dark lord kept his iron clad gaze as he ripped her most painful memories to the surface from the painful torture she had received at the hands of another, to the memories of her former husband killed by a Sith Lord. He flashed these painful memories through her mind with a forceful and intruding hand, smashing aside her mental defenses she could no longer muster effectively without the use of the force to keep up the normally tall walls she held. Throughout the years he cultivated a unique ability to laser focus on tasks when then need rose. Powers of the force especially those in the realm of the mind required an immense amount of concentration, and the Sith Lord could muster just that, concentration.

But something about her vain attempt angered the dark lord, her cries of "brick wall" attempting to break his concentration filled him with anger and hate. Immediately like an eraser to a pencil he attacked the memories of her election as the President of Commenor, chosen by the people. He wiped those memories out of her mind. But it was just then that the Dark Lord had an idea, a sadistic plan to interact on the women. Quite suddenly the memories stopped flashing through her mind and for about ten seconds all was calm. But suddenly Prazutis anger and hatred exploded in a blanketing explosion. Instead of making use of this massive inferno himself, he turned it onto Kay. The Dark Lord flooded her consciousness with this rage trying to drown her in its power.

Through a flick of his hand her shackles came undone but just as she might begin to move he seized her through the force, and smashed her into the wall directly across from the metal slab she laid on, adjacent to the long table. It was between a pair of two large cylindrical poles complete with four sets of shackles that she stood. Using one hand he kept her locked in place while the other locked her arms and legs in place, showing her exposed back while she herself stared at the wall. Prazutis retrieved from the table a large barbed whip "You are stubborn but you will learn. You claim you are strong but you bend, and everything breaks with enough pressure young Jedi." He said as he rounded back behind her, uncoiling the whip.

A grin formed on his face as he tapped into the flames of anger bringing the whip up and down across her back. But the Goliath would give her no rest, no respite in which to calm herself and get her bearings. He brought whip down again, and again, and again. One dozen strikes, two dozen he didn't stop until her entire back was torn and bloody, until [member="Lady Kay"]'s blood created a pool on the floor. Then he walked toward her unlatching one of the shackles on right hand gripping the women's smaller hand in his own. Prazutis then broke each finger on her hand individually with a snap. He shackled her hand back up then and approached the torturous table once again where he retrieved a syringe and two vials, one that would aid in the clotting of her blood to stop the bleeding faster, and the other to deliver another shot of adrenaline to either shock her awake or keep her awake. These were driven hard into the vein on her neck the remnants left back on the table.

"You will break willingly or by my hand it's your choice how this all ends." He said using the force to undo the same shackle as before, this time snapping her wrist, locking it in place again. Unbenownst to Kay the one wall held a one way mirror window where someone could watch the entire procedure safely without being seen. As if on cue Prazutis waved towards the window and striding into the room came the same two doctors. One would tightly gag her and place the same black veil on her face while the other bandaged her back up. One thing she might notice would be that the doctors only did enough to ensure she survived, to ensure she would not die.

It was only after this was done that the doctors left and four crownguard entered the room, unshackling her from the pillars only to shackle her arms behind her back again and drag Kay back to the cells...only.

It was a different cell.

The cell they tossed her in after pulling the gag and veil off it was in some ways like the other one, only it was significantly smaller. In fact it was so small that Kay only had enough room to stand in place before the lights shut off and the loud sounds played again at irregular intervals, depriving her of all of her senses entirely.

Tears escaped the corners of her eyes. She didn't want them to, but they did. [member="Darth Prazutis"] ' assault on her mind, coupled with the blood poison blade, caused every ounce of her to be in pain. And the memories that she tried to stop from being brought forth, were made available to him. And Kay couldn't do anything to stop it. When he ripped out her memory of the election, it was as though a fabric of herself was being stripped away. The travesty of that however, wasn't felt for very long, for she could no longer remember what it was that she was missing. All of her focus was on Prazutis, his face hidden behind the skull mask. The blast of hate and anger that flooded her system caused her face to contort in shock as she gasped and then let out an ear piercing scream that cracked some of the glass in the room.

Moments later she was flung against the wall. The earlier injection that had paralyzed her was wearing off, and she found herself able to stand. But that didn't quite matter as she was shackled yet again. Kay rested her head against the wall, now feeling the coolness of the wet blood on her chest from the rune markings carved into her skin. She listened to him speak, her eyes held shut once again as she started to shake again as though she was cold. "And you are weak. You...were broken a long time ago..."

Prazutis then told her that she had a choice. A choice? Ha! She hadn't had a choice to make since her capture. They had stripped her of nearly every ability to do anything to help herself. She wasn't even able to defend herself. The very idea of her having a choice in all of this was just an illusion. A lie.

Kay cried out as she was whipped, but after the first ten lashings, and the blood rippled down her legs to the floor, her nerve endings were damaged and she just clenched her jaw as the remaining lashings were made, the pain they caused not as strong as they were at first. That in itself was a bit of relief. Her eyes snapped open as her hand was released, only to make her scream when he broke her fingers. More needles came, causing her heart to race once more and any chance of rest or sleep slipping away once more. Release to her hand was again short lived as her wrist was then broken. Kay wanted to cradle her hand, but it was shackled again. He just wouldn't stop...

Relief at last as the doctors came in. Though she was gagged and blinded, she rested her head against the wall, letting her tears fall unseen while her wounds were being treated. Well, some of them anyways. She didn't resist as she was once again taken away, only to find herself in a different cell, with a slightly different form of torture. Kay cradled her broken hand and wrist, unable to sit or crouch. She only had room to turn herself around and that was it. The sounds blasted through her ears and she started to feel a bit of insanity start to come in. A poem found it's way to the front of her mind. She started repeating them, over and over while she banged her head against the wall for hours....

"From dehumanization to arms production
For the benefit of the nation or its destruction
Power, power, the law of the land
Those living for death will die by their own hand

Life's no ordeal if you come to terms
Reject the system dictating the norms

From dehumanization to arms production
For the benefit of the nation or its destruction
Power, power, the law of the land
Those living for death will die by their own hand

Life's no ordeal if you come to terms
Reject the system dictating the norms"

Once more [member="Lady Kay"] was driven to the brink of death by dehydration, starvation, and lack of sleep before the doors of her cell opened and she was pulled out of the cell. If she desired to resist the first guard would move knee her in the gut while the second one tightly gripped her wrist. The group of four slamming her against the wall and quickly sliding a gag into her mouth, and a bag over her head, her arms shackled behind her back. Kay was carried for some time before she was slammed into a metal table. Once more the bag was pulled from her face only to watch as a pair of doctors began to inject her will all manner of needles into her arms and body, consciousness fading soon after.

Kay woke apparently being carried, the veil was slid off her head and the gag pulled from her mouth. But just as she'd go to move the armored man would throw her across a large empty room, slamming the door behind him. She was left in this room for only two minutes which might as well felt like two years before the doors slid open and inside swept Darth Prazutis, in a set of gray green armor with a battle scarred cloak trailing behind him. As the doors shut he approached Kay, standing before her. "Kill me, and you may leave unhindered."Prazutis said, turning around while he held his hands out to either side.

Kay jumped as the door opened. In her tiny coffin-like cell, she had her back towards it while she cradled her broken hand. A red lump had formed on her forehead where she was banging it against the wall, yet still she was denied sleep. She winced as she was tightly grabbed, bound and gagged, only to be roughly treated once more in the lab. The sight of the needles nearly caused her to panic, but then sleep came. Sweet and wonderful sleep....

But it didn't last. Kay started to wake up, barely registering that she was being carried before she was tossed like a rag doll into another room or cell. She wasn't sure which anymore. Instead she just curled up in a corner and waited for the sounds and the darkness to return.

Yet they didn't.

When the door opened she braced herself, expecting to be hoisted and dragged away again, but that didn't happen either. [member="Darth Prazutis"] entered and spoke of her release? By killing him? Was he insane?

She slowly got to her feet and stared at his back. "Kill you?..And how am I to do that? Strangle you with my brassiere? I can barely stand on my own two feet...You dangle hope in front of me, but it's just an illusion....It's not real." He was almost twice her size and wearing armour to boot. It was a cruel game for him to taunt her like that. But then again, she learned to expect nothing less now. "I have many powerful friends. They will be looking for me..." But where she was, she couldn't say. She had no idea who's place this was, nor who he was working for.

"You haven't learned. Wrong answer." Prazutis said to her. The Sith Lord spun around just then and charged towards her his augmented speed making him appear as a sweeping blur. He crashed upon her lifting her into the air by a powerful yank in the roots of her black hair before dashing her head against the wall, ensuring she received pain and wasn't knocked out by the blow. He was nearly twice her size and built for war to boot, she would have no chance at retaliation in her state that much was true. But it didn't matter he didn't seem to care when he lifted her up again and slammed her right into the wall, stomping on her broken wrist and fingers as soon as she hit the floor.

Prazutis once more lifted her up and using his sheer titanic strength tossed the small form of Kay so far and hard across the room that she bounced right off of the large, closed metal door. "You'll regret opening your mouth with your delirious attempts at threatening me Kay that I can promise you." Prazutis said, sliding a hood once more over her head and securing it on with a tie. He carried Kay through the facility by her throat while he moved at a rapid pace, nearly choking her into unconsciousness or worse before she heard the sound of a metal door sliding open and then closed. When the hood was yanked off of her head she was in what only could be described as an arsenal of pain, an armory of torturous devices and stands. It was here that a man stood wearing a silver mask and set of black robes, flanked on either side by two equally demented aides.

What happened next could only be described as sheer horror.

Over an entire period of twenty four hours [member="Lady Kay"] was subject to an untold amount of disturbing, utterly unspeakable horrors and atrocities. If it was possible Kay nearly became acquainted with countless devices and torturous methods at the hands of these individuals, who operated with complete impunity and permission to do anything and everything imaginable. There wasn't a single piece of canvas left disturbed by their agonizing ways. When the full twenty four hours were up Kay was once more beaten and dragged off under a black veil to what appeared to be a medical bay. Here she was knocked out, given sustenance to restore her body back to a degree of health, her wounds would only be healed using bacta to ensure the nerve endings in her body were healed once more, and maximum pain could be inflicted.

When Kay awoke shortly afterward she was slammed into the wall of her coffin like cell, locked in and left alone in the darkness of her chamber with the loud and irregular interval sounds to keep her awake.
