"Woah."

Ar'ekk was speechless. A massive world bustling with activity, people living their own life and doing the ordinary things a citizen would do was discovered by the two. Who would've thought that such a place existed in the Meissa system and went under their noses for who knows how long?

Taking off his helmet without bothering to check if the air was breathable or not, the man stepped forward in awe and couldn't help but release a chuckle. He looked back at Jyn with excitement, trying to find an explanation to such thing.

His envirosuit came off almost immediately to allow him free movement and finally use his much comfortable attire,

"How? How is this possible?"

His adventurous instinct kicked in and right away wanted to investigate this breathtaking plane by every inch and meet the venues sorrounding them. Massive buildings and neon lights took over their horizon as they stood in the outskirts of what seemed to be the urban city, loads of trash sorrounding them.

They had to be in the city waste section where all the garbage ended up at, confirmed suspicion through a massive flying truck-esque vehicle dropping off tons of awful smelling garbage nearby.

"Come on, let's find a way out of here. Leave the suit behind and grab your backpack."

Jyn was already two steps ahead of him.

Shrugging off the envirosuit she bundled it up and tossed it right back up the ramp they had just walked down. That left her in just the clothes she had opted to wear earlier that morning, which made her shiver for but a moment as she adjusted to the temperature of the place. Cooler than Aurum, significantly so, but something she could definitely get used to. A different kind of humidity hung in the air, one which spoke of a constant downpouring of rain. That confused her, if the region was controlled as her sensors had indicated then why would anyone choose for the area to be so dreary?

To each their own she supposed.

"The ship didn't drop us off directly on top of the coordinates. We're going to have to do a little bit of exploring to find out where the distress signal came from. You're likely just as eager as I am to explore this place, but... First comes the mission. We should send a message back to Aurum, let them know what we've discovered out here. Who knows how many other worlds in this system are actually inhabited..."

That made her frown. How could they not have known?

"Here, take this."

Noticing that his beloved wasn't wearing warm clothes under a cold and rainy weather like the one Lithios offered for their first time visitors, Ar'ekk gave her his comfy jacket. He was more than able enough to endure difficult weathers like this one.

"Make the call back home. I'll wait here and make sure nothing happens."

The man's eyes ran through the garbage disposal zone they found themselves in, nobody who worked there seemed to be phased by the presence of two strangers that just landed from off-world in such a magnificent ship like the Tranquility.

"This is one of a kind discovery, Jyn. I'm pretty sure the Meissa System holds more places like this, even bigger too. A vast system yet to be explored but already developed probably.

It's impressive, talks wonders about people's capacity of building such places and nobody knowin' of its existance until now. At least that's what I think."

Taking a small gadget from his backpack, the Je'daii Ranger placed a beacon near the Tranquility so they could pin-point the ship's location to return through the same path that'd lead them within the city. This would sync-up with the Chrono on their wrists and would make a beeping sound once they got closer to the ship.

"Focus on the mission, understood."

The jacket, she discovered, was warm. Nestling down into it with a soft sigh she gave him an appreciative smile before leaning up to kiss his cheek.

"Give me two minutes, okay? Don't wander too far."

Running up the boarding ramp, she made her way through the ship into the small holo-conference room and proceeded to patch herself through to Akro who was back on Aurum. How long she spent inside discussing the best course of action she could not say, but soon enough she was emerging back out into the strange land they had unearthed.

"Proceed with caution, Master Sicmus' exact words. He's allowing us to continue on with the mission as planned, though once we're done he would like us to remain here for a few days to gather information. Mostly to see how much of a threat these people are to our security in the System."

Everyone knew Akro was a little too pragmatic with such things, going above and beyond to keep their best interests in mind. Not that anyone minded, not with the sacking of Aurum still relatively fresh.

"Come on, the signal is coming from this direction..."

"Don't worry, I will stay here."

The freezing cold made his entire body shiver as he looked around the heaps of garbage sorrounding them and the Tranquility. Everyone who worked at this garbage dump going about their lives like nothing while they stood there wondering how such a sprawling ecumenopolis could've remained hiddenm the charts.

Jyn returned in less than a minute after establishing contact with the Je'daii, his eyes lingering on hers for a brief minute before finally talking.

"Sure, we'll find a place to stay at and investigate this planet further. The smell of garbage is killing me, really."

Their Chronos beamed as they moved out of the trash dump in the outskirts of Lithis to finally walk on a sidewalk, only a few steps away from what seemed to be downtown.

Humanoid species were common if they dared to look around and many shops plus neon lights invaded their sights as soon as they decided to enter the "main hub".

"Look at that."
