Amber eyes watched as the trees sped by, the speeder was full of several of the acolytes that had been at the academy and roughly in the same year as the princess. It was the annual survival camping trip, and Quinn was unable to avoid it this year. The thought of sleeping on the ground and walking through dirt made the girl groan with displeasure. How was this acceptable to put the students through? Quinn questioned the academy's thought process and figured it was probably to make them more suitable for Masters. Either way, she had found a master without having to bathe herself in the mud.

Though it was more like fate, she found her a master, but that was entirely different.

The shuttle train finally stopped to a clearing that had been set up for camping groups. The field was flattened and free of most trees, which were turned into different obstacle courses and cabins. Quinn looked out her window and watched as other shuttles emptied out their students. They ran towards the center of the campsite and talked, then broke quickly into groups for their cabins. Seemingly enough, it looked like the group could range from four to eight campers in a cabin, but there was something positive. They didn't separate them by rank or gender, which meant Quinn's plans of keeping Vesta close was in full effect.

Her attention moved from the campsite and looked towards her partner, through the hand that covered her chin, she smiled. "Looks like we've arrived, I'm happy you tagged along, Vesta." She bit her lower lip and gave the hand she held a small squeeze. The whole trip would be unbearable if she had to do it alone. Her gaze peeled away as she watched another shuttle unload, more acolytes stumbling about. Quinn sighed softly as she spoke, "We might not get our own cabin as I had hoped." Her lower lip pouted as she thought about having to share an entire space with six other people.

"Hopefully, we get to choose who's in our cabin, because I'd die if you weren't with me." The young apprentice had grown quite fond of her time with her master, she hated the time they were apart, so much she had dragged them along with her on this trip. It was easy, seeing that both Vesta and Quinn were similar in age. Despite this, Quinn wondered if they would get caught. From what it looked like, none of the other apprentices brought along their masters.

The door opened, and Quinn let the others pile out first. She grabbed her bag and looked at the ground. It was dirt, and it seemed to have rained earlier in the day - which means the land was now covered in mud. Her pale face turned a bright red as she thought about how the dirt was going to cover her shoes - which were white and brand new. Looking at the mud and then back at Vesta, she pouted again. "Carry me? There's mud."

Totally optional fun thread, drop in and out as you wish :3 let adventures be afoot in the murder forest of Ossus. Be careful not to get eaten by the trees! Tagged as many people that I thought would want to join - please feel free to add people / sorry if I forgot anyone!

Camping was a rather...well, primitive idea in to Natima. Casting yourself at the mercy of nature, with mere supplies of fabric, fire, and potentially having to feed off the wild life? She knew of native Felucians who did the same thing. If nothing else, it was nice to get away from the gritty realities of the academy, and even she could not deny that the stars glowed ever brighter in the outdoors. It reminded her of her time on Lao-Mon, back with her family, before she could hardly even change the hue of her own skin. She had longed for the simplicity of those days, before the bounties, the crimes, the constant running that came along with it. She missed the sound of the rainfall tearing through the trees, the rustling of the branches, the echos of the wildlife that hollered out in alarm as if their world was forever changed. Sometimes she wished she could go back. You know you can't do that.

One the bright side, the nights here would be beautiful, which brought thoughts of another woman who wasn't that far from her. Natima had grappled with the idea of airing her dirty laundry to the woman, but it never seemed like a good time. Leliana looked positively glowing at current, perhaps it was the fact she was so close to the Shi'ido, or perhaps it was the enthusiasm that Natima could feel within her force presence. It felt rather comforting for her busy mind at current.

She had been branching out with the more subtle things she could do, which actually astounded her truth be told. She had focused almost entirely on using the force for her physical exploits, hardly thinking of using anything beyond telekinesis or the occasional barrier, but now she found that she could tell people apart by their auras. She had been doing it before, she realized, but what she was calling her 'gut feelings' about people had actually been her unknowingly tapping into her force sensitivity. It was probably one of the reasons she wasn't dead yet. Her thoughts about such things came to an end, as their transport seemed to come to a stop.

"Looks like our stop." She mused, rising up with the rest of their compatriots, though she tried to remain close to Lil as they moved forward. The Shi'ido retrieved her bag, offering to grab Lil's bag as well if the crowded nature of the shuttle made it too difficult for her. Working her way outside the shuttle, she moved to the side, letting the rest of the pack move towards the camp site, as she wanted to get a feel for her surroundings. It was a quiet place, or relatively quiet given the circumstances. She felt her shoes sink a bit into dry mud, which she gave a quick glance down to, before disregarding. It could always be worse. Looking to Leliana, the red head felt compelled to ask. "Hey Lil, want to bunk up for the night?" It took her a few seconds to realize how that might have sounded to the other woman, but she didn't correct herself. That line was already cast, there was a chance that Lil wouldn't take it that way, and everything would be fine. While she had a calm expression on the outside, Natima was cringing on the inside.

You really should have phrased that better
. Sometimes she hated being right.

How did this happen? Why? Maybe I was better of dying in the explosion. Those were only a few of the myriad of thoughts that coursed through the head of Rexus. Where was the brutal training sessions on korriban, the acolytes murdering one another, and even the intrigue. Then again, this was turning out pretty brutal already. Sighing, Rexus sank as far back into the seat he occupied as he could. It wasn't very far. Truthfully, his bulk prevented him from being even remotely comfortable. Furthermore, he took up most of the leg room in the seat next to him, rendering it unusable for the most part. He had that going for him thankfully. Sweet glorious loneliness.

Rexus scanned the shuttles inhabitants as he waited. He stuck out like a sore thumb among the majority of them. He wondered if any of them had actually suffered the wilderness before. The wilderness or the things that live in the wilderness. A fond memory crept into his mind as his thoughts of the wilds reminded him of the first Wookie he killed. Not quite a "beast" but it fought like one. It had given him something to remember it by shortly before he cut it down. He remembered how that fight swung drastically and honestly favored neither of them. Unfortunately for Rexus, his stroll down memory lane made him remember how his days as a pit fighter ended. His mood soured once again and he banished all of those pesky memories from his mind.

Rexus saw the field they were going to be landing near and the people occupying it. They had all gathered and were speaking to one another. As his shuttle landed, Rexus stood unceremoniously and made his way for the exit. He pushed several people out of the way as he went and upon exiting, made his way toward the furthest cabin meant for acolytes. It was far enough away that Rexus hoped it wouldn't be occupied by anyone else. At least, not immediately. As he walked, a strange thought entered his mind. Would he even be able to fit in a bed? An annoyed sigh escaped from Rexus as he continued onward. He might just be better off digging a hole outside somewhere.

While she couldn’t speak for the other shuttles, there was a lot of whining going on in Inanna’s during the ride to Ossus. The acolytes all complained about the camping trip for various reasons, ranging from the mundane—one girl worried loudly about possibly getting mud on her luggage, while a Shistavanen growled out something about rodents in the cabins—to gossip about murderous plants and mutated wildlife that had been bioengineered by the Sith during the conquest of the planet some time ago.

Inanna decided that she was going to break from the group as soon as possible. Probably go look for rocks and enjoy the nature that was so similar to home on Lao-mon. Hopefully she wouldn't get paired up with Marcis Sorr Marcis Sorr . Or Rexus Rexus . Or Darth Daiara Darth Daiara . Or most of these people, really. They were all equally terrifying and/or obnoxious, with very few exceptions. Then again, she suspected the "exceptions" only seemed okay because she had yet to see them go off the deep end…

The transport landed rather roughly, provoking irritating shrieks and jeers from the passengers. Inanna contemplated reaching over to her right, grabbing the guy next to her’s training lightsaber, and swallowing it, then decided she would rather live another day after all. She was among the first to get off the shuttle, grabbing her luggage and making a break for the nearest empty cabin... only to discover it wasn't empty at all.

There were only so many cabins in the general area, and there were a whole lot of acolytes. No one could have a cabin all to themselves unless they, ah, rid themselves of the other occupants. So instead of finding herself in the middle of a quiet, peaceful forest abode, Inanna instead barged in on a cabin full of people, some of them already fighting amongst themselves over who was going to get which bunk (the ones farthest from the others were considered the best). It appeared that someone had also decided to commandeer the cabin's only bathroom, barring anyone else from entering, and a set of women's luggage had been dumped out onto the floor in the middle of the room, leaving it awash in brightly colored bottles, tubes, and frilly clothing.

Clutching her bag to her chest, Inanna heaved a sigh that was both despairing and nostalgic. It was just like being a Girl Scout all over again.

When the news broke that the Overseers had organized the year's survival camping trip, Leliana's eyes light up like a damn Wall of Light. The assassin was convinced she had nearly scared Natima at the time, whom she'd been sitting with. It was very unusual for Leliana to publicly show excitement. And boy did the news of a camping trip lead to the usually cold and collected Leliana to 'break character'.

She had grown up being surrounded by four walls. Be it a dorm, a class room, a training room et cetera. The Facility had been a boarding school in essence, and the only time she ever got out was during the 'Field Ops' which were only available after a certain age. Ultimately, it had led to the young woman being starved for new surroundings, to explore and taking in some fresh air. It was why Leliana had such a love for nature, no matter if it was going to a dangerous area. If anything, that excited her further.

During the ride to Ossus, Leliana had been talking Natima's ear off. One of the very few that she'd openly do so, and was willing to listen. It was a nice balance to Natima's current busy mindset. Leliana knew she had been focusing on the more finer aspects of the Force. Picking up on the other people's auras, identifying them through it.

Her current topic was cut off however, as their transport finally reached its destination. Natima was the first to stand, with her following close behind. The cramped space made it a bit awkward to grab her back, but the redhead had quickly offered her aid. Leliana gave her a 'thank you Nat!' as she followed her off the transport. Once there was solid ground beneath their feet, Leliana took her bag from Natima.

"My oh my, Nat. How bold of you." Leliana teased, a mischievous twinkle in her eye. "I'd love too."

Not like the two weren't already effectively doing that at the Academy, no not at all.

He blinked once.
Then he blinked twice more.

Vesta's gaze traveled down from the expecting look on Quinn Varanin Quinn Varanin 's face to her pearly-white shoes and then right back up to her face with a frown. "You.. do know we're both.." He started to say, and then shook his head with a sigh, unable to hold back the grin of amusement any longer. Turning away from her he crouched down, his arms bent slightly at the elbows in a sort of looping fashion at his sides. "Come on, get on my back, I'll carry you." The Shi'do said with a hint of a chuckle.

The irony of a princess - under the guise of a man or not - carrying another princess so she wouldn't step in the mud was both not lost on her, nor was it ever not going to be absolutely adorable. "I don't know why you brought your new shoes with you, or why you're wearing them, but maybe you should think about wearing the clothes that I brought if all you packed for was sitting indoors the whole trip." He said as he slowly stood, holding her legs against his sides while her arms pressed down against his chest below his neck.

He glanced around, carefully noting in his mind that absolutely no one else was in a similar predicament, tucking that little bit away for the inevitable tantrum when she found out there wasn't going to be any air conditioning out here - much less her environmental control suite that she loved to abuse so much. Still, his wandering red eyes couldn't help but sneak a few looks up at his girlfriend perched on his back like an ewok - minus the fur. "I'm sure that we'll end up together somehow." He said, doubtful that there'd be any form of assigned sleeping quarters in a Sith camping trip, particularly if the idea was surviving in woods that wanted to eat you.

If anything, Vesta was rather surprised they were given cabins. He had personally expected a tent, if that.

What kind of survival training featured cabins and large, comfy groups rather than ravenous beats prowling lone targets? Surely the Overseers had gone mad... unless it was not the wilds they were meant to survive, but their fellow Acolytes. Oh yes, that had the potential to be rather interesting.

If so, Quinn Varanin Quinn Varanin had quite the advantage, snuggling up to Ellie Mors Ellie Mors as she was.

Not that she was the only one with tricks up her sleeve, he had advantages of his own... but he had no particular reason to fear his fellow Acolytes, for most were far too crippled by anxiety, fear, anger, blind ambition, or a mixture of the previous to pose a viable threat.

Eying the pair once more - how strongly they desired each other's company - the Changeling gave a lazy nod towards a small flock of students that seemed determined to occupy one of the more well-positioned cabins. "It would seem sleeping arrangements are first come first serve."

Tilting his head sideways in thought, he smiled coldly. "Though I suppose no one's stopping you from evicting any who lack the strength to resist."

Seemingly quite content with that arrangement, he strolled off the transport and onto the muddy soil in the opposite of a hurry, the only baggage he had brought being a small bag that could not possibly hold more than one change of clothes, let alone proper survival equipment.

The whining of the others was something that made the pureblood scowl in no general direction of note. Clothes were made to be dirtied. Shoes the mere transport for which to carry your will as you went. Expendable. Made with purpose. A utility for the person wearing them to be allowed to traverse an area with safety in mind. Not as some manner of statement for courtship or fashion. The ride was uncomfortable, but then again so was life when you were one of two large beings in a vessel made for those smaller than your self.

She spared a glance at Rexus Rexus , if only reaffirm the solidarity of being a tall being in a sizeist galaxy. Upon arrival, Jonu did not wait for the show to begin as Quinn Varanin Quinn Varanin and Ellie Mors Ellie Mors began to make a display of their mating ritual. Pulling the large duffel from beneath the seats, she made for an out of the way cabin. Far flung from the nice cozy looking one that most were likely to fight over. Wouldn't help her concentration any to be close to the squawking nature of the lovebirds.

And taking the least appealing cabin would allow her peace in regard to no one wanting it. Besides, the trials of learning had done well to prepare her for rougher conditions, and this was notably nicer than being left without a semi-solid structure between themselves and the wild world of the planet. At least this would give them warning.

The fact was really simple. She didn't want to be here. Every fiber of her being was against being sent here. There was many things she liked doing outdoors, she always did enjoy a good outdoor venue for performances, the way the sound would carry in the air unabated not having to bounce around harsh confines of the prison of duracrete that was most buildings, the fresh air that didn't grow stale and mew with the stench and stank of everyone inside that was the lovely way to enjoy the outdoors. Being confined to a clearing and cabins with a bunch of karking crazy people wasn't. Especially when the outdoors was in the middle of a forest that quite frankly needed a sign that said something along the lines of: STAY OUT!! THE PLANTS KILL!

But she was made to go on this trip regardless. Something about broadening her skill set and how it would help her deal with the whole people problem. This was supposed to be good for her. ugh. She just wanted to go back to her studies and return to devouring her now mammoth mandated reading list. Still there was something that she could try to look forward to: The campfire. In the back of her mind during the shuttle trip she was already going over every song in her head and trying to determine what she was going perform, several coming to mind as she remembered the small travel case under her seat that contained a compact foldable quetarra, perfect for such a rustic place. Perhaps she could pull an illusion or two and really scare some people.

It was a nice distraction that meant she could forget about the dread she was feeling, before she knew it the shuttle had landed and dozens of apprentices quickly rushed out and deposited themselves onto the surface. Maya being one of the last to exit partly because she had double check to make sure she had everything and to avoid the claustrophobia of being stuck in a tightly packed crowd of people walking. Slinging the instrument case over her shoulder and grabbing her bag which consisted of a few changes of clothes she stepped out of the shuttle. Thankful that she had swapped her usual attire of dresses and heels with boots, trousers and a turtleneck. She made her way to one of the cabins. Only stopping at the sight of Ellie Mors Ellie Mors carrying Quinn Varanin Quinn Varanin which was just... weird. Her mind had to stop to just process that. Why was he... Maya would throw the thought away in an effort to preserve her already sparse sanity and entered the cabin.

Upon walking in she would have to duck out of the way as a knife lodged into the wall next to her. The inside was a cavalcade of chaos as her ears were now filled with the sounds of incoherent shouting as apprentices now began to jockey and fight over bunks. Maya's mind overwhelmed by the fear of getting caught in the crossfire of some improvised bunk Kaggath and all the noise just made her mind go blank. Her insides fluttering about like each organ was replaced with butterflies. The sephi tried to get herself to say something but the only thing that could exit her mouth was audible breaths and moans of nervousness. Finding herself facing hell and certain death combined she did one thing that always worked, she clung to the walls and kept quiet hoping to the Force that no one would notice her. Soon she began to inch along the wall taking note of some lockers that looked like a nice hidey hole.

Bel'sa'Nikto

Guest
B
How wonderful

A trip like this was something that Bel was accustomed to. His days running from the Jedi after killing four Jedi including his former Master sent him on quite the journey through the galaxy. Tatooine, Abafar, Naboo, Yavin 8, and Raxus Prime among others. Being in new and often uncomfortable places was all but normal for him. His goal for this trip was to obviously survive, but to show that he has what it takes to be a Sith. As for the others, he didn't fear them. However, the other acolytes did have one common flaw, incompetence of nature. The complaints of the fellow acolytes created an annoying noise similar to that of a dropped cymbal. It just, rattled around in your head and wouldn't let you think. He rose and moved to a more secluded part of the shuttle, only for it to stop right as he assumed his new seating position. Disembarking from the shuttle after everyone else had left, he stepped out and took a deep breath. Home, or at least it would be for now. As for his luggage, well, he didn't have any. Bel figured in order to show one's true survival skills, you can't have anything that remotely gives you comfort. He did carry his lightsaber however, and this was solely in case any acolyte tried some funny business. The armour he wore was dirty from his recent trip to Raxus Prime, the layer of rust residue looking like it was eating away at the armour.

Hmm, what cabin shall I pick

He quickly chose the cabin that he would be staying in. Bel bumped into Rexus Rexus on the way to his cabin. Now words came from the kajain'sa'nikto's mouth, he just kept on walking. The scene on the inside of the cabin was less than ideal. Three other acolytes were arguing over what beds they wanted.
A pity, Bel had no time for such ignorance. He cleared his throat and addressed the room.

"No no no, this isn't going to work. The three of you... leave. Go find another cabin that is more accepting of your petty arguing."

The three acolytes looked up at him with an excuse me look on their faces. Bel chuckled.

"You heard me, I like a room to myself. The amount of complaining you three did on the way here, you don't even deserve to sleep on the floor."

One of the acolytes, a Twi'lek piped up. "I think six feet under is a good place for you to sleep." The other two acolytes, a Duros and a Zabrak, gathered by the Twi'lek and reached for their lightsabers. Bel waited for them to attack before cutting them all down one by one. He used the Force to throw the bodies outside, then collected the three lightsabers as trophies. One was dual bladed, so that was a bonus. The other acolytes that were outside looked visibly shocked by what they had just witnessed. The nikto spoke in a monotone voice.

"It was too hot."

He walked back into the cabin and slammed the door shut. Bel dismantled the bunks and placed the mattresses into a rectangle, effectively making a king sized bed of sorts. Kicking back and sighing in a relaxed tone, he closed his eyes and awaited further instruction.

Just dig a hole. It's better that way. Rexus sighed as he took in the interior of the cabin. Only one other Acolyte had stashed their stuff here from the looks of it and they appeared to be outside. What particularly vexed Rexus about the room happened to be the beds inside. They were all meant for an average sized human. Wordlessly, Rexus grabbed the closest bed frame and dragged it toward a corner. Once the frame was settled in the corner, Rexus grabbed a second and placed that beside the first he had grabbed. After creating his "double bed" Rexus tore the linens off and hurled them into the center of the room. He had no need for them. Though they were common for many and a luxury for several, things like that mattered very little to Rexus. The beds were stretching it to be honest but Rexus felt he was going to need the comfort in the following days.

Rexus sat down on the edge of his "bed" and lowered his hood. He let his left hand wander his ruined scalp for a time.
Nothing. Can't feel anything. Rexus let his hand fall back down his side before remaining motionless for a time. He heard the others outside and paid them no attention. They were preening, vain things that spat lies and twisted truths. They hadn't been tested, not truly. They hadn't been forged in fire and many would likely never be. Rexus removed his blade from the sheath on his back, resting said blade upon his knees. It was a simple thing now nearing the end of its "lifespan". The blade had begun showing signs of slight warping and wear. It could more than likely still function for the foreseeable future yet Rexus felt the need to replace it sooner rather than later.

Rexus tore a piece of cloth free from his rags and began to clean his blade. The weapon had accumulated a decent amount of dried blood and it needed to be cleaned. He believed that any foolish enough to stay in the cabin would likely complain about the smell said gore usually gave off. As the subject of fellow acolytes once again crossed his mind, Rexus wondered how long it would take for them to start killing one another. He had been told that "accidents happen" and this entire outing seemed to beg for such an occurrence. Hopefully the others would do him a favor and end one another quickly. That or they could complain about him taking two beds for his own use. That would be an exceedingly expedient way to find oneself suffering from an accident.

If he could grin, he would. The rather violent thought, however barbaric it might be to others, was quite enjoyable to Rexus.

“Father, Son, and Daughter, will you shut up already?” Inanna bellowed, sitting on the edge of a bed that wasn’t considered worth fighting over. The acolytes around her were yelling, screaming, crying, moaning, dying, etc, with no sign of an end to it all in sight. She pressed a pillow over each of her ears, which dampened all the noise somewhat—she could hear herself think for the first time in almost ten minutes.

It was easier to observe her surroundings then, picking out specific things. Like Maya Bir Sinvala Maya Bir Sinvala creeping her way over to the lockers from the door, looking even paler than usual. Cais ned’jin, is this what hell is like?” she muttered to herself. “...It must be."

Merely sitting in this cabin by herself, uninvolved in the duel to the death currently playing out in the corner over who was going to get the window bunk, was a thousand times worse than every disastrous outing with her seven brothers and the rest of her extended Shi’ido family put together. Including the one when they drove all the way up to the volcanoes and her brother Hieronymus almost fell into the lava.

There was, quite simply, no point in enduring this any longer. Still holding the pillows over her ears, Inanna slung her bag over her shoulder, stood up and walked over to the exit. Narrowly avoiding the path of a degenerate Rodian, who suddenly burst through the door with a dagger in either hand poised to leap into the fray, she slipped out before the door could close again, keeping one eye open in the back of her head for any stragglers looking to steal her pillows.

Marching back to the center of the clearing, she found herself standing a few feet away from Marcis Sorr Marcis Sorr . Lowering her arms, she made like she was looking around the forest, then suddenly flung the other pillow directly at his head.

“Heads up,” she said as the pillow bounced off him. “I take it you think you’re one of the smart ones, staying out here in the open, waiting for the Great Cabin Wars to pass. Well, looks like you’ve got the right idea. Do you mind if I stand here and gather moss with you?”

Not that she cared whether the little knife-loving creep cared. She was not going back in there. No way, no how.

Leliana's response sparked a series of reactions from Natima. The blush that came over her face was akin to something of a raspberry color, as her shape-shifting malfunctioned for a brief moment. Lelaiana had gotten the drop on her again. She was going to have to get the woman back, this was two times now. "Wow...um...it's really warm out here. Probably...should get inside." Rubbing her brow and trying to play off the embarrassment she was under, Natima nodded to herself. Hearing that Lil had given her an answer, she pursed her lips and tried to find a cabin which they could call their own.

"You are such a minx." She muttered to Lil, taking the woman's hand in her own to keep them together. Truth be told, she just liked holding Leliana's hand, but she suspected the woman already knew that now. She had recognized several faces in the midst of the acolytes, Marcis Sorr Marcis Sorr had caught her attention before he disappeared, and she could have sworn she had seen Maya Bir Sinvala Maya Bir Sinvala somewhere in the mass of acolytes. The Shi'ido was sure she'd encounter them some other time, but for now she just wanted to lay claim to a cabin before her and Lil were going to be separated; she had gotten far too use to having her 'personal' assassin around.

Finding one cabin, she opened the door, only to find Rexus Rexus sprawled out across the floor, having two of the beds and forced them into the corner of the room. A pile of torn sheets laid on the floor, prompting confusion into the mind of the Shi'ido, as she tried to see what else the Pureblood had done with the room. With his size, most acolytes might have let such a thing slide. Natima however, was not timid despite his size; she could take his form if he wanted to try and intimidate her after all. "We haven't been here five minutes and you're already making a mess?" Natima asked, before taking her bag and setting it near one of the beds; though seeing how Rexus has made his bed gave her an idea.

She looked to Lil, that raspberry color coming back to her face though she wasn't aware of it. "Hey, Lil we could...put our beds together. Be more spacey than usual." She not so subtly suggested, knowing that while they wouldn't have the privacy she would have preferred, she could at least have her favorite Sith close by. Retrieving her dagger from her side, Natima set it on the bed and began to go through her annoying altered clothing she had brought; she needed a shirt in case she ever needed four arms after all. She wasn't entirely sure what this whole 'survival training' thing was going to be about, but she had to assume they'd be forced to get some flag or survive out here for some unknown period of time.

The cabin Jonu went to seemed almost abandoned. Decrepit would have been an almost better word. At least compared to the other ones. It was plain it had not receieved a fresh coat in a cycle or two. Something similar to a spiders silk hung in the doorway, and the large duffel was thrown onto one of the bunks before the shifting of beds began.

Much like Rexus Rexus did, Jonu pulled two bunks together, left the surprisingly clean sheets on but gathered all of the remaining pillows off of the beds and put them on hers. The duffel was moved to the bunk beneath hers as she listened to the sounds of fighting coming from elsewhere in the camp. She shook her head before climbing up to the space she had made, four clawed hands beginning to make signs as she spoke quietly in her own tongue.

"Rip and tear, chase and snare, clear this space and make it bare." she hissed, the dark side wrapping around her before spilling from her in a wave as it crept along the floorboards and cracks in the wall. If there had been others coming to the offshoot cabin, they would see insects and a handful of wildlife scurrying away as the sith magic wove itself into the sensation of a predator searching the space.

A deep breath had her opening her eyes to a pair coming in and staring at her for a brief moment, coming out of the trance before she could see them actively thinking about invading the cabin.

"Come in, the wild things that bite and poison are gone." She spoke quietly, placing her twin lightsabers beside her before speaking in her tongue again and ignoring the pair that still stood there, caught in choice.

"Conceal, protect, hide from ill effect, create a space, from which none may take." The words were spoken in sith, a dark energy wrapping itself around her as she lay back and relaxed for a moment. It was menacing energy that encompassed the two bunks pushed together, daring the pair and others to touch it as her hand idly wove itself in circles while she relaxed.

Quinn smiled, quite pleased with herself as she climbed onto Vesta’s back. She understood what the Zambrano princess was going to say, and Quinn found it quite amusing in a sense. Her shiny new shoes bounced as she was carried through the mud by her master, she made note that no one else brought their masters. She had the advantage, but she had already decided that this was more of a vacation for them.
“I mean, I plan on sitting indoors or on a blanket in the grass. So I packed accordingly for that.” The pampered princess had assumed she would be able to get out of most of the activities set up for them. Unknown to her that it was most likely she would fail at that endeavor. Arms wrapped carefully around the Shi’ido as she examined the others around her. Already there was fighting and arguing. She pinpointed each face of her small clique, especially Leliana Leliana , who had been quite cozy with Natima Vando Natima Vando . There was some frustration with the assassin, but Quinn was starting to realize this was better. It hurt losing her friend, but Vesta was all she needed. Everything else didn’t hold a candle to her lover.
“Hmm, I like wearing your clothes, so I think I will probably steal something from you.” She nuzzled the nape of Vesta’s neck softly as she leaned forward and whispered softly into the boy’s ear. More than likely, it was something lewd, since the apprentice was in a situation where the master was preoccupied with other things. Leaning up pleased with her comment, Quinn placed a few fluttering kisses along Vesta’s neck and hugged him tightly.
Lucky for them the campgrounds had cabins; if they didn’t, Vesta would have found himself pitching one on his own with very little help from Quinn. Despite her parents being the survival type, the girl was pampered and the firm definition of a princess. “Don’t put me down until we find a clean cabin. Hopefully, the air conditioner is easy to program, I’d hate to be stuck trying to figure it out.” The girl mused as she looked around, “Wonder where the baths are? If you find them, you can help me~” she left the rest of the statement to his imagination as she continued to try and figure out the lay of the land.

As with any gathering featuring a large number of Sith with minimal supervision, things were bound to get chaotic - Arrik would not have been all that surprised if someone tried to stab him or one of the cabins caught on fire, but a pillow to the head?

That he had not expected.

Giving the now-muddied pillow a dead-eyed look, a look which soon shifted to the one who had thrown it, the amber-eyed Changeling simply stood there for a long moment before sighing quietly. "I require only minimal accommodations. Why bother struggling for it?"

Though he looked as if he meant to say something else, Arrik suddenly paused, head swivelling towards a worn-down cabin at the fringe.

Or rather, towards Jonu Zihtil Jonu Zihtil and her little sorceries, which interested him far more than a childish shapeshifter.

"Do what you will, I believe I have found my cabin." Just like that, he was done with the conversation, leaving woman and pillow alike behind unless she moved to follow him. He had never been one for the little niceties the fleeting seemed so obsessed with.

Though she had decided back on Dromund Kaas to stay away from him, Inanna was beginning to find Marcis Sorr Marcis Sorr kind of amusing. Sure, she didn’t much like Changelings after all the chit she had been put through with Pygar and Faya, but he was so unlike either of them, she was willing to give him a pass.

“‘I require only minimal accommodations.’ Beep boop,” she mocked the Changeling’s toneless voice, bending her arms at the elbows in imitation of a robot. Granted, most droids in the galaxy far, far away had more personality than this block of petrified wood. Hell, Ayreon was more lively, and he was an HRD.

Though Arrik was distracted by and attracted to the sorceries of a female Sith Pureblood with enviable washboard abs, Inanna refused to let him get away that easily. “And I believe I have found my cabin buddy!” she exclaimed cheerfully, following along behind him like a Corellian poodle with her remaining pillow clutched in her arms.

In the short time it took for Marcis Sorr Marcis Sorr and Inanna Harth Inanna Harth to approach the cabin, the magic within the cabin had dissipated and shifted to another form. When the pair entered, the large pureblood would be standing over a human and bothan, thumb and pointer fingers on the forehead of each with a hissing breath seeming to draw dark energy from within both. Neither of the victims were fighting back as the inhale stopped with a snort. Glowing gold stared at them for a long moment, noting the woman carried a pillow but the other did not.

The dark energy broke off as her fingers released the pair and softly pushed the two over.

"As before, come in, the wild things that poison and bite are gone." She spoke to the pair coming in, arm reaching out and taking a pillow from the the mound she had before throwing it to an open bunk. "I do not bite unless bit. These two..." She spat at the two she had drained their dark side energy from. "Were entirely uncouth in their attempt to remove me. I hope you two will be far more, pleasant company."

She did not wait for a response as she turned and moved to the pushed together bunks and stripped her jacket off. The leather trainer was all that was below it, tossing the jacket to the bed below. The drained pair seemed drunk in their light swaying, blinking to keep themselves awake attempting to keep themselves upright.

As it turned out, the woman was determined to follow him about like a lost puppy - and much like an actual puppy, she was annoying but harmless.

Ignoring the seemingly endless stream of conversation for the simple reason that he did not actually want anything from her and thus saw no need to observe the niceties mandated by the social contract, Arrik lazily strolled towards the worn-down cabin.

Upon entering, however, his body stiffened slightly and his eyes briefly turned a deeper, more luminescent shade of amber as they drilled into the pair on the ground like a shark sensing blood in the water; as quickly as it came, however, it was gone, his stance turning relaxed once more.

"How very rude of them." After giving the pair a look that was almost hungry and definitely predatory, he returned his attention to the strong one, giving her a nod as if in acknowledgement. As if he himself had any need for an excessive amount of pillows.

Finding the bunk seemingly assigned to him to be no more nor less appealing the rest, he strolled over, sat down, and closed his eyes.

It was important to remember that the fleeting did not traditionally subsume their weak. At least not directly.

Contrary to what the little-Sith-Changeling-who-could perceived, Inanna didn’t say another word to him during the brief, brisk march to the cabin of the big red she-hulk sorceress. When Arrik paused in the doorway to stare dramatically at the bodies on the floor, Inanna walked up behind him, waited for a second, then tucked her pillow under one arm and gently patted his bottom with the open palm of her hand. “You’re holding up traffic, honey. Scoot.”

As soon as he let her squeeze through, Inanna promptly went to one of the remaining bunks, laid down with her extra pillow, and went to sleep. Her other two cabin mates were lucky she didn’t snore. The Crimson Chin over there might, however… it was probably gonna be a long night.
