Can droids be sensed by the force?

Short Version:
Yes

Long Version:
Yes and no. A Force User can't really say "YON DROIDS COMETH" like they would with any* living thing, but they can sense the artificial 'life' via their energies and the way they work. Like how a shark detects the electromagnetic fields of creatures and metallic objects.

This has nothing to do with it. Literally everything in the galaxy that isn't Vong is connected to the Force. Hell, even the Vong are. They're just not using our version of it. You can sense a rock with the Force. You can sense a breeze with the Force. So yes, you can sense a droid with the Force.

Especially a droid using a lot of energy. The bigger/more powerful the droid, the easier it would be to sense.

You don't have to specialize in sensory abilities to sense things. Just being able to sense the Force at all is enough to notice things if you concentrate. Specialization brings clarity and range, not variety. All droids can be sensed. All rocks and trees and people can be sensed. If you're talented (for example, a specialist), an Ysalimir could likely be sensed by its absence.

This isn't high-level stuff. Sensing droids is something everyone can do, if they focus.

I know but I'm just saying that this power I'd like really good. Most droids can't do that and we can have sensors for this. All that AND I don't have to get up to get the remote? Man I wish I was a jedi.
