Can I Help You?

[member="The Queen"]

"My project...you talk about Jedi not being able to do things about the Sith...then what about the group that started Sith...the ones who sit in our shadows...doing nothing but watch..." He walked down the steps, and opened the passenger door. "A side has to be chosen eventually, but you never asked me about my personal goals...what I want to be known for when I die...let me show you what I will be known for.." He waited on her.

Ikora followed down the steps and took the offered open-door, climbing into the speeder. She sat back into the seat, relaxed and asked, "And what do you hope to convince me of when you show me this?" She looked to him, "I will not abandon my position to side with the Ession, the Jedi." Thoughts and imaginations sparked in her mind, but she couldn't fathom what he had in store.

Romeo went around, and hopped into the driver's seat. "I hope to convince you to side with me," He took the controls, and pressed the pedal to make the engine of the speeder carry it forward. "Ession needs leadership, that is why I sided with them, but as an individual, I have my own plans going in motion...I am preparing for my own war." The speeder would begin to cruise along a path that would take them to a part of the planet that was always raining. "I am not asking you to join them...I am asking you to help me, and I help you. With Ession protecting my planet, I can go to war without worry that I wont have a home to return to." Romeo pressed a button, putting the speeder on auto-pilot. "All I have under my disposal is kept away from eyes I would not want to know what I am planning.." He looked at the queen. "I am a father, two girls, I have a family that must come first before I can wage battle against an enemy." He looked at his hands. "I will show you my plans...my resources...I will show you what is the Shadow Empire's backbone, and core."

"You may be able to help me," she began, "But it is an Empire that will get the job done. No two individuals can unravel the disaster the Jedi and Sith have wrought upon this galaxy, it takes much more than that." She watched out the viewport as the speeder took off on auto-pilot and contemplated on his earlier words, and she begun to pluck a question, "How do you know of the Primeval?" He would perhaps see it as curiosity in her eyes, but she was suspicious.

"My empire follows behind me...and when you see this....you will know why I am not a person to be rivalled with." Romeo would then look at the queen, and smile. "I have been all over the galaxy, and I know a person in every part of the galaxy...people tell me things, I do research. Nothing is completely hidden." He looked out the view point, the place wasnt far now, you could see where the rain was beginning to hit the wind shield.
"I have more then you think, all of it prepared to attack on my command..."

She rose her brows, not in surprise that he knew everyone in every part of the galaxy, but in disbelief. She was becoming ever more wary of him. "No, nothing is completely hidden," she echoed. She knew that Gulamendis was far off any hyper route, and even the Imperial Remnant - the ones being attacked by the Primeval- don't know who are attacking them. Yet there were some out there who knew the Primeval, so very few. They were a threat that lurked outside the galaxy, slowly advancing in. A looming darkness looking to engulf the galaxy in its shadow. While Romeo knew of the Primeval, or it was a mere bluff, she found comfort that he would not know of her realm. A place so deep in the Unknown Regions, it could not be found on any map, nor accessed by any known hyper-route or beacon. It was so far beyond any conventional means of travel that it existed off the galactic disk, hidden deep within a satellite nebula that orbits the galaxy. She would remain patient, and return to her realm when it was necessary. There was perhaps an ally in Romeo, if she could convince him to join her at her side. There is strength in unity. And a Queen of many, will be the Queen of all.

It apart a few minutes of silence before Romeo stopped the speeder in front of a hut. "We're here." Was all he said. He would grab an umbrella, step out, and go over to her side. A sinister silence fell over Romeo, and he opened her door, holding the umbrella out for her. "Ikora...you can not get me to join Primevil, I will not try to get you to join Ession, but let US be allies. Let our two groups work together outside Primevil, and Ession." His eyes were not a soft, crimson color, with no glow.

She welcomed the offered umbrella and began to climb out of the car. "You may be right," she said quietly. The pitter patter of the rain brought a wonderful sensation to her ears, and the moistened ground smelled pleasant. She reflected on their conversations, they had not been together long but it seemed like days. She said, "I'm curious about your family. Tell me about your children?" It may not be obvious why she asked, but she was getting older, and Arkanian Offshoots did not live very long, and she had yet to foster any children.

Romeo's demeanour changed completely, a sense of joy expressed through his face. "I have two daughters, the eldest is about to be sixteen, Keturah. My youngest, Erika, is only five. I have a sister, and a brother, I am the eldest." He looked up at the rain, and smiled. "They are my life." He walked her to the shed, and opened the door to let her in. "Please. watch your step." He said, looking inside, it was completely dark. "Erika is my first born. I do not know where her mother is..or Keturah's.." He hoped she understood what he was implying here. It was quite hard being a single father..and a single father of two with different families.

Ikora followed his lead to the shed, smiling and cheery as he spoke about his children. Something beeped down within the folds of her coat, she halted momentarily as she checked the inside of her coat. She pulled out a small transceiver, orb-like and fit easily in the palm of her hand. It continued to beep and flash red. Her brow furrowed, "Oh dear," she whispered into the wind, "I have to leave. This is an emergency. This isn't good. Would you be able to drive me back?" Such was the urgency of this event unfolding that she walked out from the cover of the umbrella and into the rain, moving for the speeder and quickly getting back into the seat.

Maybe this was a good thing. Romeo returned to the speeder, wondering what was going, but opted not to ask. "This can be done post haste." he said hopping into the driver's seat. He punched the peddle, and they squealed in a sharp turn, and sped off to the keep. "Hmm." He said out loud, realizing what this meant. Within a hour tops, they were back at the keep.

"Thanks for the ride," she said soothly, she pushed open the door and climbed out. A few meters ahead was her starfighter where she had left it. She turned to look at Romeo, "Walk me back to my ship?"

With a curious look, he gave a nod, "It would be an honor to see to you off." He took his place by her side. "Maybe next we meet, we will have more time, and I can cook us dinner." He gave a soft chuckle. They no longer needed the umbrella as it did not rain constantly here. When they did reach the ship, Romeo gave a small bow to her. When he looked up, he a smile. "I hope you have what you need, and this does not come back with us on opposite battlefields. We have similar goals, and it would be a shame to have to fight you, and your army."

"It would be a shame," she said, "if it came to that." She clicked something on the transceiver, and though she was not in the starfighter, the Fury-class Imperial Interceptor that had been gifted to her ignited its engines. A loud thrum echoed across the landscape. The landing pads began to fold up, and the starfighter was now hovering. The two forks were staring them down, and The Queen approached with confidence. She placed a hand on the hull and pulled herself up, clambering over to the cockpit and jumping back in. She quickly strapped herself in, she checked the systems. The Queen reached above her head and pulled down the hatch. A hiss sounded, signifying that the hold was now pressurised. The starfighter rose a few meters, now only staring down Romeo. She leaned up, producing a smile and waved merrily. She gripped the yoke, and unseen behind the viewport she flicked against it, revealing the trigger. 'Concussive missiles locked. WARNING: Close proximity to target'. "There can only be one throne above the howling dark," and she pressed down on the trigger, firing a salvo of concussive missiles at close range, other hand working the secondary yoke to spray laser fire towards him with the four cannons. She was attempting to remove any evidence of her being there, and before she could even see if she had been successful, she hit the accelerator, deflector shields activated, attempting to make a quick escape into the atmosphere. The Queen was an enigmatic being, aloof and manipulative. She fiddled with the hearts of any to achieve her ways, and Romeo Sin had just been her latest victim. Playing coy with him. She hid a ruthless nature behind that mask of hers.

As he watched the queen leave, and rise up, a pinch gripped the back of his neck. -Kark it.- He slid his hands forward, letting the force flow through his body like a river flowed through the land. Take a deep breath, his mind focused on the missiles fired at him. His eyes closed, and through the force, he slowly began to turn the first two, which collided into each other. The next two were caught in the blast, and Romeo had to react quick to get the next ones. Taking the speeder by the force, he tossed it up at the missiles coming down at him, which decimated the speeder catching the rest, but he had to keep jumping backwards to avoid the debris.
Quickly, a whole army of Royal Guards came out, firing at the ship, but it was too late to do anything about it. "Sir are you okay?" One would ask him. His face burned red as he felt played. "I am fine." He stood there starring at the sky. "Get me my general...I may have just made the biggest mistake of my life." With that the guard scurried off. Romeo's eyes flared into life with hot red colors. His hands lit on fire, and he walked away from what had been the best ploy he had ever seen.
