- With its creation rumored to date back to the start of the Clone Wars, this lightsaber has survived by being patched and modified with various upgraded materials including copper and wroshyr wood over the decades.
- STRENGTHS
- At full power the blade can cut through most materials found within the galaxy.
- Can be modified slightly with newer materials for the hilt.
- Can be attuned to the energy field of a Force user…if the Force wills it so.
- Weaker materials such as copper and wroshyr are susceptible to heat and pressure from other lightsabers and similar weapons.
The lightsaber was held for many decades by a Falleen prince on Socorro, until he lost it in a high-stakes podrace between Cass Hitcher and a hired racer. The prince claimed the lightsaber had been a part of his family’s exotic collection for decades even prior to this, and it was said that the lightsaber once belonged to a Tholothian female Jedi who was killed during the Battle of Geonosis.
Cass walked away with the lightsaber, only to have it fall apart a couple of months later while fending off fire from space pirates. She withdrew to the planet Kashyyyk, where she had developed a close relationship with a family of Wookiees who helped her repair the hilt by incorporating copper and wroshyr tree elements, combined with the long-lasting beskar and Durasteel.
It is unknown how a Jedi Knight could have received Beskar from Mandalorians prior to the Clone Wars, but it is possible this particular Knight had developed a secret relationship with a hunter during the course of her training and the subsequent building of the hilt. There do appear to be Mandalorian markings along the hilt.
The Falleen prince claimed his family had purchased many Jedi artifacts that were pulled from the Temple on Coruscant just before the rise of the Empire. It is entirely possible the Tholothian’s mentor kept her hilt as a reminder and then lost his own life during the Great Jedi Purge.
