Cave of Wonders

Karisma, that was what He called her. That was her identity. The girl named Vesh was long gone, and the only thing she strived for was pleasing Him. She waited with bated breath at the mouth of the cave for Him to return. He had been gone for near a week, rations were running low but she remained steadfast, for He always provided.

The rain began to fall and he heart sank. She worried about the only Father she had ever known. He had an old war injury, from a villainous Jedi, that hindered his ability to move. Traversing the Kiliquious Mountain Range was no easy feat, but in the rain and with His leg she was concerned. [member="Lord Kataklysmos"] was the most powerful individual she knew, certainly she did not know many but still His abilities were astounding. Certainly, she convinced herself, that if anyone could overcome, He could.

But...

Doubt set in. She took a small step forward, drips of water fell on her face. She took one step backwards, He told her not to leave the cave... no mater what.

Still she was concerned. She bit her bottom lip as the war of emotions swirled around like a tornado inside her. She stepped forward again through the rain, looking for the being she could not live without.

Kataklysmos limped over the rough terrain. Muck clung to his boots, quite the metaphor for life. He smiled at the thought.

When he arrived at the mouth of the cavern, he saw her leaving her post. It angered him. She was his greatest creation and here she was defying a direct order. His eyes bulged as he outwardly displayed his disapproval of her decision. He entered the cave without saying a word to her. His coldness would cut her deeper than anything else and he knew it.

Karisma felt the coldness enter her body. She stood there petrified of the consequences about to beseech her. She knew better to speak before being spoken to. She had been beaten over the head with her rules. She turned around and followed him back into the cave. She threw herself upon his boot, bowing with total admiration and fear. She said nothing and tears fell from her eyes to his boot, not for fear of the consequences but out of sadness for disappointing Him.

Kataklysmos reached down and placed his hand beneath her chin and beckoned her to rise. He looked into her teary eyes and felt gratification for the absolute control he had over her. She'd do anything for him, and if he were to ask it of her, she'd lash her own back to please him. But vinegar was not his weapon this time.

"Calm yourself, my child." He said with a nod. "There is work to be done."
