Organics are biotechnology. Organics can be created, programmed, and birthed by non sentient technology. Organics know these organics as "clones". Cloned organics are noted as sentient. Droids are constructed in a similar manner. Yet droids are not afforded the same degree of Organic programming known as "good will", or "rights". M4N-SDD notes this as incorrect logic. If you would not trade clones at a slave market, why do the same to droids?

@[member="M4N-SDD"] Well, your first failure is in that you're making a over-generalization on a massive scale, to the point of assuming that clones are always given rights. There are places in the galaxy where droids are treated better than some species. Been to Arkania? The Offshoots there have it rougher than you could understand.
Secondly, cloning is a much more delicate process, requiring patience and a previous set of DNA. The law of biogenisis is key here: Life can't come from other life. You don't need.a droid to make a droid. QED.
