Strengths:
Big- This armor is designed by big guys, for big guys.
Heavy Armor- This armor is extremely resistant to blasters, and quazi-impenetrable to slugs.
High-Tech Helmet- The Helmet is equipped with several fun toys to help in the heat of battle, including a comlink, an Infrared Motion Sensor, and polarized lenses.
Life Support- This armor is sealed, and has a tank carrying 5 hours of air. This can be used in space, or when gas is being used in a battle.
Semi-Lightsaber Resistant- Glancing blows of a lightsaber will do little damage, due to the thick plating, but a dedicated strike will slice through easily.
Weaknesses:
Heavy- While wearing this armor, the wearer is quite encumbered, and won't be moving too fast. While this doesn't effect larger, stronger races as much, and the Weight-Bearing Joints help with the load, it is still to be considered.
Big- This armor is extremely difficult to carry around, and can only be worn by larger individuals.
Not the Joints!- While there are electronic-assisted joints in the armor to assist in continued use, targeting said joints can break them, causing the armor to become much heavier for the user.
Description:
This armor was designed by Ghorua the Shark and various other Goliath Company mechanics to be the epitome of large armors. With this thought in mind, the Goliath Company created the Ceta-Class Heavy Armor.
When one joins the Goliath Company, they receive a set of this armor, fitted specifically to them. It is designed to make even a single soldier a tide-changer in a battle, striking fear into the hearts of the enemy. This armor succeeds best in a straight up battle, charging on the front lines, worn by only the largest species. Due to the extremely thick plasteel, most blaster bolts and almost all slugs will be turned aside. Of course, a blaster cannon or E-Web will easily get the job done against one of these things.
Off the battlefield, the imposing figure of the armor is designed to be rather intimidating, only increasing the fear brought on from whatever monster is under the helmet. Equipped with a large weapon, this will be the scariest thing many denizens of the galaxy will see in their lifetimes, discouraging attacks in a peaceful setting.
The joints of the armor are enforced by electronically-assisted pistons, helping distribute the weight of the armor, but EMPs and continued damage will result in these breaking. The systems in the helmet offer an extra edge in the chaos of battle.
