The stadiums on the city planet of Jutrand were packed. All around local businesses were selling their best merchandise, offering tempting food, or thirst quenching drinks for the crowd that the Galactic Games had drawn in. The activities would be a week long and include races, combats, gambling tournaments, singing competitions, and more. The event was sponsored by The Galactic Commerce Guild, a new faction in the galaxy that sought to help average citizens make a living in the chaotic galaxy. The transportation hubs were jam packed with requests for speeders, and the hotels were quickly filling up. The annual event was sure to be a huge source of revenue for the industries of the GCG and after months of planning the big day had finally arrived!

Nothing like the old snap, crackle, pop to get the blood flowing. After the work and stress of relocating Quekko's Choice to Denon - come on by, folks! - Jerec sorely needed to get back in the ring. Qualifying for the Galactic Games had been the perfect opportunity.

Vanilla regulation shockmitt gloves would do fine. He was given to understand that his opponent might use other kinds of electrified weapons; well, so be it. He'd gone up against plenty of stun prods, neuronic whips, even force pikes. He was as ready as the owner of a used-boat dealership could be.

When he stepped into the ring, the crowd didn't so much roar as mumble, but he planned to change that. He bumped his fists together, knuckles to knuckles, with an earsplitting electric snap that threw stark shadows around the ring.

The Galactic Games had so much offer, so much allure for M-XIII. There was the opportunity to make deals, sign contracts, and offer a sample of her corporation's products to potential customers and new investors; the latter she didn't require, but it didn't hurt to test the surface. Also, the resource game was a major factor for all businesses and entrepreneurs with so many governments, empires, and factions of all beliefs waging war across the galaxy; where nearly any planet worth it's weight in natural resources was seemingly under heavy wraps. As a business owner, she knew it could get expensive to obtain the resources her company required through dealings with the aforementioned galactic players, so finding a trade partner who possessed a cheaper route for resources could be very advantageous for both parties.

But she was here for something all together different. Forget the fact she was a business owner. She would never be that executive who sits in her office all day, conducting meetings or listening to proposals from her hired engineers. For one, she had an explorer's heart, well her heart was actually a cybernetic enhancement but she loved exploring none-the-less. However, even indulging herself with expeditions and exploration outings was secondary, she loved to fight; after all, she was Echani. At least the remaining twenty-five percent of her natural body was, but an Echani will always be an Echani. And so it came as no surprise that she would enter the Shock Boxing Tournament.

Her cybernetic eyes locked onto her opponent whilst she entered the ring. He seemed a fine physical specimen; ripped muscles, great physical shape, and judging by his dancing in the ring, a favorable boxing opponent. Never taking her eyes off him, she watched him, calculating and observing, as her 'hands' were fitted with the boxing devices. Even before the bell rang, she already knew how to defeat him. Echani were taught at a very young age how to read the body language of their opponents, which was a form of communication even as they fought one another, and this reptilian looking male was mere seconds from being disconnected from the conversation.
