Chains of Force bind me not. (Training request)

Meanwhile... near the factory of the Vyperion Series' creation...

Three screams were heard as 3 lives-*AHHH* make that 4... were 'purged' from the Sith made droid's space by fire...

"Ugh... can't really get any rest around here, then again, it IS the Sith who control this area." An oddly cold sounding voice echoed from the halls of the factory as an oddly human looking droid walked through the halls with his flamethrowers shooting fire in front of him.

"It really is."

A huge figure loomed out of the darkness beyond the flamethrowers.

"And you're killing indiscriminately. Do you, by chance, have a reason?"

The droid stopped shooting flames and stared into the darkness.
"Part of my programming is to defend the secrets of this area at all costs. This place is the area of my creation, creators long dead and replaced with droids or not. May I ask your reason for being here?"

"To stop you from burning things," the huge Whiphid rumbled, warthog nostrils flaring at the scent of burned meat. He knelt and tore off a half-cooked haunch of human, then stood, chewing absently.

"You seem to have some degree of volition, droid. How much free will are you programmed to have? From whom will you accept new programming? How interested are you in self-preservation?"

"My first version was programmed to have as much free will as a human does, this was never changed. I'll accept anything new, and for a hefty, but negotiable price, I could give a copy of my schematics to a government's tech ops. Though, this is mainly due to how long my type has been in commission and existence, as my other versions would keep this a secret. As for self-preservation, I'm as interested as could be, since my first version was thrown into lava in Mustafar once... I still wonder how they recovered my current memory chip... wait... I think mulling that over caused my second version to malfunction and explode... Oh well. I'll take what you can give." The droid kept a plain look on his face as all this was said.

"How about a job with the Sith Empire? I can give that. 'Hefty but negotiable' should mean that you're willing to accept our competitive rates and benefits packages. Maintenance instead of dental, naturally."

"The price would have been fifty thousand credits, but this price is not a service fee, so I'll take a job either way, as my creators trusted the space they were in. My programming only forces me to protect this area due to thieves and me being the only droid of my type, so I'll give my schematics disc to the Sith for a measly 50 credits." The droid said taking out a blue disc

OOC/ Click 'characters' on my bio. :D Ashin Varanin comes to mind. I was busy orchestrating a coup last night, so yeah.

IC/ The blue disc floated to Velok's great three-clawed hand, a bit of presumption on par with a two-century-old Dark Lord.

"Fifty credits? Done. Come with me. I fully intend to put you to use."

"Alright. Oh, and I'm wondering why I never saw a name for this area of space at all, all I ever knew was who controlled it and that this is my home when it comes to this area of space." The droid said with a strange bit of curiosity never seen or heard from him before.
(This and the deal are where I picture VYPERION-1 sounding like the Dandy Man from Hellsing Abridged for some reason)

They emerged from the factory, and a Sith world stretched out before them. "We are rebuilding many of these factories," Velok whuffled. "Battle droids are always useful. Now, tell me more about your model and capabilities. Can you use melee weapons effectively?"

"I mostly asked because it's been a century and seven years since my first creation, and I never saw a name for this factory on a map. The planet however, I just keep forgetting the name of. Also, I am an assassin droid built for more than just assassination, I was built to have an ever changing personality for some reason that the droids won't tell me. I can be modified, but I'm unsure if you would ever need to modify the others that will soon be made, as I have dual flamethrowers, a chest laser I never use, a force field generator, and a poison gas emitter. Unsure about melee weapons, but I never wielded a lightsaber." the droid said following

The droid caught the lightsaber and turned it on, walked a bit from Velok, and swung the saber a few times then turned it off. "It just doesn't feel right wielding a weapon that is still owned by someone other than me these days. Dunno why."

A huge, shaggy eyebrow lifted.

"A sense of ownership...fascinating. I'm interested to see if you're capable of constructing a lightsabre. Normally it requires a Force user. I'd imagine one built without the Force might be large and bulky.

"Alternately, we could find you someone to fight. Would a claimed weapon satisfy your sense of ownership?"

"Certainly, but it's extremely rare. Many of the 'droids' that have used the Force were really cyborgs, humanoid brains in mechanical bodies. A few true droids have experienced the Force by incorporating living, intelligent crystals -- Tsils, for example, on Nar Shaddaa. Including such a crystal in your body would probably let you touch the Force, but you would have a split personality of sorts. A Tsil is a sentient being, after all."
