Alex adjusted the large sheet of synth paper taking up the Kryat's share of space on the work table so its corner wasn't blocking the holo projector. Freed of obstruction, the flush emitter once again projected a map of the Bespin system to include the three planets and the asteroid belt known as Velser's Ring. The inner two planets had interested him at one time, but they were likely immense challenges with little reward. Bespin and its Tibanna had long been a mainstay of the company. ORR keeping its main offices in the luxury city of Cloud Nine while the company's processing platforms followed the load winds.

Sun wards was the ring. Recently he'd ordered their only Orca Refinery to take position along its edge. It was currently being serviced by two large mining barges that dove into the ring to mine and fill their vast holds before other ships returned with their plunder. Both operations were well clear of where the second planet would dive through the ring during its haphazard orbit of the sun. Having refineries of their own, the barges didn't need the station, but it was a convenient gathering point and allowed the two ships to work without needing to stop other than for maintenance. Still... Alex looked down at the paper he'd moved, the tips of his spread fingers holding it to the desk top he stood over. On it were plans for new mining vessels that would ply this, and other asteroid belts and keep the refineries at capacity.

There were so many plans to keep track of, new designs, stations to construct, shipyards to grow. Previously Outer Rim Resourced had gotten by on mass production of essential resources and a few exotics like Phrik. The mix of steady but low margin, resources and low production, but high margin, had been safe in the past. Now it left him with something of a rut to fig his company out of. Manufacturing capacity was also something he'd been left wanting more of.

"Terminus and Darkknell," He said to the room. "Those two essential systems will be next. Bespin is low-hanging fruit, easy to pluck, but those two will bring in the cash flow and provide an outlet to sell the Tibanna glut that's about to otherwise hit the local market. Both are also higher population worlds which make them ideal recruiting locations. Those will be our priorities in the short-term while we increase manufacturing capabilities." He liked this plan in its broad strokes. Markets were opened to those who would need to buy what Outer Rim Resources was even now producing in excess and took care of the manpower bottleneck of expansion. Even now Station Six was making the ponderous weeks long journey down the Parlemian Trade Route and the Hydian Way to Darkknell. Hmmm, maybe it could use a new name to go with the new location...

Everette Clairmont arrived on Bespin aboard a sleek, understated but high-end shuttle provided by Starcraft Shipyards. The ship, named The Argent Envoy, was equipped with all the amenities required for corporate travel—a quiet, comfortable interior with a small office space, complete with a data console and refreshments. The shuttle's exterior bore no ostentatious markings, just the subtle emblem of Starcraft Shipyards, reflecting Everette's preference for practicality over flamboyance.

As the ship descended towards Cloud Nine, Everette's gaze shifted out the viewport, taking in the sight of the floating city, its gleaming spires and platforms set against Bespin's rich, swirling clouds. A sense of solemn resignation settled over him as he thought about why he was here—sent by Braze, the company's young and, in Everette's private view, spoiled owner. Braze had a tendency to throw himself into "playing Jedi," as Everette thought of it, leaving much of the actual corporate responsibility to him.

Everette sighed softly, adjusting his tie. He knew his value in the company, but it was still irksome to be dispatched while Braze indulged in his adventures, treating his corporate empire like a hobby. Everette had accepted that his role involved cleaning up and negotiating deals on behalf of someone who seemed more interested in wielding a lightsaber than wielding business acumen. Still, he was a professional, and he would not let such thoughts cloud his demeanor.

As the shuttle touched down on one of Cloud Nine's landing pads, Everette gathered his briefcase and adjusted his glasses. He straightened his shoulders, taking a deep breath and sighing softly, preparing himself to be the face of Starcraft Shipyards and Starbazar. He knew that his presence here was crucial—Braze could afford to be absent because Everette was competent enough to handle the pressure, to navigate the complexities of negotiation, and to secure the deals that would ensure the company's continued growth.

With a deep breath, Everette stepped out of The Argent Envoy, his polished shoes clicking softly against the landing pad as he moved toward the meeting location. He was here to do his job, regardless of the reasons behind his assignment.

Arriving, he smiled and greeted Alex with an extended hand. "Mr. Alex, it's a pleasure to finally meet you in person," Everette greeted warmly as he extended his hand. "I'm Everette Clairmont, Corporate Liaison for Starcraft Shipyards and Starbazar. I've been sent here to ensure that our collaboration progresses smoothly, and to explore how our resources might best align with your ambitious plans for Bespin."

Everette's eyes briefly scanned the surroundings, noting the utilitarian setup of the work area—functional, practical, and efficient. He appreciated these qualities. After the handshake, he nodded towards the large sheet of synth paper spread across the worktable, partially covering a holo projector. "I see you've been busy," he added, gesturing toward the plans, his interest genuine. "I'm eager to hear more about your vision for expanding operations here. I believe there are several opportunities where our interests align, particularly in utilizing Starbazar's network to enhance distribution and logistics."

Judah listened to the outline of potentially building two areas of focus : Terminus and Darkknell. Darkknell was of more interest to him. The planet was long known for being a corporate haven, many companies housed regional headquarters on the planet due to the nature of it being on the Hydian Way.

There was little interest in Cloud City for him. More nostalgia for others. The old salvager was keen to make the most of his credit rather than a show piece. For himself, the Sith territory was a vast untapped resource of salvage. Beyond himself, he only knew of one other major salvage company ; Starchaser Enterprises. They typically stayed in the Tingel Arm and fringe elements of the galaxy.

He fiddled with the caf cup in front of him, curious where Outer Rim Resources was looking to partner with others. Cut down on costs? Massive complexes? Manufacturing complexes were mentioned but that seemed more for ORR than anyone else in the room.

For himself, salvage intake and refining facilities would find a home on Darkknell. Question was for himself ; space station or planet side? Space stations had many advantages, and if traffic was going to pick up on the surface could traffic control keep up? Doubtful.

It wouldn’t be the first time he built a massive space station for his personal use. Celestia Station in the Tingel Arm being the first.

“You’re looking to collaborate with other companies in a joint effort or is this more of a brainstorm, share our potential plans sort of
meeting?”

Alex reached forward and took Everette's offered hand in his own rough grasp. "Nice of you to come all the way out here to meet with us." He also gave Judah a nod of recognition and moved onto his question. "A little of both, but really I could get a sounding board anywhere." He motioned towards the Lawyer, "Everette here represents a rather modest shipping concern based largely out of the Alliance, a place it may raise a few eyebrows for ORR's ships to tread with any regularity. And while I'm quite happy with our efforts on Bespin, there are more places I'd like to establish ourselves. Darkknell and Terminus being two of them for the immediate future. Iridum Station is a step towards that, but lacks sufficient capabilities."

He shuffled the papers around to reveal plans for a second type. "I was considering expanding the fuel network with Outer Rim Trade Centers." He paused before shaking his head in rejection of the idea. "But the new gates are soon to put a crimp on that. However, the wars need tibanna at an ever-increasing rate. Watching a recent Senate Meeting brought another few potential places to develop to my attention, deep in Alliance territory." This announcement brought with it a meaningful glance between the two of them. Most of his company assets were within Order space and he was heavily relying on the enemies of the Alliance to prop up his rapid expansion.

"I'm also interested in developing mines, bulk materials like durasteel, quadanium, and creating agriculture projects." Ertegas, Ozu, Chelloa, and a few other places were of interest to him there, But Alex wasn't sure if they shared those interests. OOR would get to them, as they would with the rest of the planets they'd stepped forward to develop on behalf of the Order. And in doing so bring law and order to those places, let people have a future that didn't end at the end of a blaster.

"It is my pleasure to be here," Everette replied with a curt nod returning the hand shake. His muted blue eyes turning towards the two men in an attentive fashion as he listened to the discussion. After a moment, the raven-nett lawyer added, "I believe our recently launched Lucky 7's Starport can address the logistical challenges you're facing. The flexibility they offer are ideal for adapting to new locations which should serve well for large-scale mining and distribution.

Additionally, we have an armored freighter fleet that forms the backbone of our distribution network. I believe both of these resources can enhance your logistics and distribution operations, help lower expenses, ensure reliable throughput, and meet growing demands. We also have a production line of deep mining vessels that may suit your needs or serve as an asset of interest, particularly for expanding your mining capabilities."

Judah nodded, listening to both Alex Stern Alex Stern and Everette Clairmont Everette Clairmont , a little out of the loop on some issues. Such as the Senate meeting surrounding tibanna gasses. His son was more the gas and extraction specialist but it was a note to tuck away back in his mind, something to pay attention to. A small reminder to have his assistants watch the Senate meetings more carefully. Or tune in himself - perhaps a way to fall asleep quicker in the evenings.

"With Mister Clairmont handling your security and with this knowledge, I would personally go and start these gas capturing facilities now. I only say this due to my personal interactions and views wit the Galactic Alliance. Their knowledge of business regulation - or the mere desire to do so it not there. It may be wise to act now and act quickly while their backs are turned and their focus in on the war of the week."

The idea of using the Lucky Sevens caused Alex to shift uncomfortably. Bad timing with the recent launch of their own up-sized refueling and lay-over stations. Though maybe it would work similarly to using Starbazar to haul cargo in places Outer Rim Resources' flag would raise eyebrows. Something to think on. "Security is something I'm relatively unconcerned about at this time. But," he looked to Judah, "If you could get the permits and then hire or subcontract ORR to do much of the work. We have the experience, tech, and know-how to do it well and safely. What we don't have is a reputation very far outside of the Outer Rim."

Looking the men over, Judah listened the proposal by Alex Stern Alex Stern .An interesting one, where it seemed Salacia would be a launching pad or major contractor for the smaller ORR. Hand reached up and stroked his beard for a second, lost in thought before dropping his hand. Was it a bad proposal? Not in the slightest but he wanted to be clear on some things.

"So what you are proposing is Salacia hires ORR for the work of capturing gasses. From there ORR builds their reputation through Sith Order space and then branches out from there? As in, Salacia is the foothold needed in order for the business to get further into Sith space? I'm not opposed - we're in Phase One of this revitalization act. If ORR positions themselves well, you'll be in a good position to launch quickly in Phase Two."

Another pause.

"What's in it for Salacia? I'm not opposed..."

Alex raised an eyebrow before his brain caught up. Right, Salacia was Dashiell's company. It just hadn't been mentioned by name until now. "A percentage to return on your investment, of course. But it wouldn't be in Sith space. Outer Rim Resources is quite secure out here. No, I was planning something a little further core-ward. Hence the need for a company not so thoroughly bound to a location under the current government's control and the use of Mr Clairmont's services. I want to expand into Alliance space," he restated.

"The Revitalization Act is certainly a boon for expanding locally, but it's not the only opportunity facing us. I'd like your help there, and possibly to contract out Agricultural experts you may employ, particularly if they have an expertise in farming by droids. Though, that's for a few other projects." There were agri worlds in Sith space he'd noted his company's interest in, but most of those locations were still in the planning stages or spread out in the schematics spread about his desk.

"I know little of Alliance space. I don't have a massively large presence there, although my headquarters for Dashiell Incorporated is currently being built on Raltiir. I do have salvage prospects along their boundary lines, constant war has made for excellent business for myself in that regard. With that being said, I am willing to assist you. Agriculture is something my son is start to dabble in and with sustainable efforts from Salacia I feel some inroads can be made."

Judah paused, still unsure what Alex Stern Alex Stern may be looking for. He certainly wasn't attached to any government. That had to be a plus in this situation.

"Does this sound acceptable to you?"
