Chaos Requires an Essence of Control

She was almost at the door, when he followed her in. She was almost out, had almost escaped but he was unrelenting. Somewhere in Anaya's mind she gave him a bit of credit, but the minute the pet name slipped from his lips she rounded on him relying on the emotion she understood best to fuel her. Anger roared forward, manifesting in current that ran down her arm.

She raised her hand and it leapt forward to engulf him. The red energy dancing along his body. "Perhaps you misheard me when I said I need you alive." The power behind the attack increased "But I can make you feel pain. And if making you hate me is the only way to stop you doing this, then so be it."

The barrage stopped and she flexed her finger. "Kalee. Three weeks. I'll meet you in orbit." She put her hand on the door handle once more.

Red lightning flew over my body, my eyes turned pure crimson mixed with specs of amber and obsidian as I channeled the Force. It had been some time ago since I had felt the power of pure darkness inside of me, my lips turned into a smile as I felt my skin cracking at the barrage of her lightning.

Just like that it was over.

My robes hanged in tatters around me, from the waist up my skin smoked as the cracks attempted to heal itself.

Like my skin, apathy started to show cracks. The baby.. it had taken its toll from me, this was another hit. Soon, there would be consequences.

"Told you. You will have to kill me if you want to go."

My head tilted slightly.

"Where will you go after my corpse is cold?"

"Shut UP!" she whirled on him again, the back of her hand cracking across his face.

"Why can't you just let it go? Why must you pursue this?!"

Regardless of what she thought, I ain’t a queen who allows himself to be smacked around. Except in bed, that is a whole different ballpark. My hand grabbed her arm, and held it firm.

Orbs of crimson still looked at her.

“Stop being such a Sith, and just kiss me already. Always making it so damn hard for yourself.”

Anaya tried to pull her arm free but to no avail. She struck at him with her other hand with a scream of fury. "IDIOT!" she shrieked.

"I cannot stop being what I am!" Lightening crackled down the arm he held fast to engulf him again, intending to loosen his grip so she could flee. He should have backed down by now, he should have let her go. The fact that he wasn't terrified Anaya, it confirmed her fear that whatever this was would only end in pain for both of them and she wasn't sure how much pain she could take before she became like her Master. Disregarding anyone and everyone that came her way, using them all as tools. Oh granted she was almost there, but she cared for those she used to a certain extent.

I ignored her pleas, and pulled her into an embrace. As the lightning crackled over my skin, my lips touched hers. There was sweet sweet pain in her touch, and I felt myself smile under it.

And I cannot stop being what I am, Anaya.

In essence, I wasn’t a Sith Lord.

I was an nerf herder.

The lightening flashed across her own skin as her drew her in, a gasp of pain slipping from her lips before he kissed her. The lightening stopped and for a moment she went rigid in his clutches, mind reeling unable to process any of what was happening. Somewhere in the chaos of her brain, she cracked and gave in. Relaxing in his embrace, arms slipping up and over his neck as rage became passion.

She drew back slightly from the kiss, red eyes boring into his "Damn you, Jared." she whispered.

I ain’t a man who takes what he gets for granted, so when she said those words I didn’t grin. Or wink. Or tried any other jest which was in the playbook of ‘how to ruin an emotional moment’. I just looked right back into those crimson orbs of hers, and acknowledged her words.

Not with a mental contact, what we just experienced.. it was too fragile for that. A mere word, or wrong touch would send her running again. Such a skittish little person she was, it made me.. well I don’t know what it made me. But it definitely made me feel -something-

My skin smoked as the electric storm faded away, hurt like a fether. I could have turned it off, remove the pain. But I had noticed that once my pain was gone, a lot of things were gone. Hard to distinguish things.

“Damn me.” I agreed with her, and then pulled her in for another kiss.

Whatever she felt, whatever she didn't understand, at that point in time Anaya didn't care. She didn't try to understand it, she just took the moment and enjoyed the sensation she had never experienced before, when the world around becomes nothing and your heart is soaring above. Tomorrow, or perhaps even in a few hours she would return to the ground and try to work out this mess but right now she was content with doing only one thing.

And that was pushing Jared towards the bed as they kissed.

She didn't care how much he hurt.
