[Chapter One] The Fall of Tecave

The others felt to the ground, breaking their bones or necks. Some of them dying or some of them screaming in pain "So let me get this straight Star-Seeker" said pushing of the dead body of a 'minister' not caring anymore of the safety of the 'Elders' Mara and Vanadis protect themself from the second force push of the attacker and retreat, jumping from the plattform once the security had the target locked down "Why didnt you leave the planet after you landed? Almost two week"

Garoth had made a research about every traveller that landed the planet in the past month after his arrival. Hours and hours of free time wasted in doing his actual job. When it comes to payment, Garoth doesnt play around and do nothing. The elder were loved by most of the people of the planet and the local mafia didnt dislike them, as they let them do their bussiness. So the only enemy that could be around would be an outsider. The only problem was hiring actors that could look like them and play the rol, without knowing they would possibly be murdered or kidnapped.

Another problem was convincing the hole council, so Garoth tried to talk to them in a private meeting. The idea sounded good for most of them, but the first minister and two of the elders didnt like it. The three went to the meeting, without caring about their safety "They are brave or stupid..." thought to himself leaving from the meeting. On the day of the reunion, the actors were dressed as elders. All according to the plan...except that and assassin killed the Prime minister and that was good. Mara and Vanadis quickly react saving one of the real elders from falling while the actors were shitting themself from fear.

"They are going to pay me half, thank you very much" two snipers shot to the leg and the shoulder. Garoth was going to kept him as a prisioner and then sell him to a mines. Or let the locals handle him with a death penalty or something.

Raseri had been duped.

Well, not entirely; he knew that the Prime Minister was the true target, he hadn't let that man out of his sight where the Force was concerned. And a couple of the Counselors were definitely real. No actor, no matter how good, could improv such a political scene while keeping it relevant and to the point.

But he did not have all of them crushed. The rest, like cowards, had hidden. And the people of Cerea may not have liked that fact. Who wanted cowards for leaders, after all? Tecave was already mid revolt right now, how would the people feel knowing that their issues would be put on hold. Severe issues, regarding Pirates and Sith. No, he may not have killed the whole Council but he had certainly brought about their downfall.

So someone new would be brought in. So a new Council would be erected. His mission had been to destroy this one. And inadvertently he had.

He didn't care for the musings of the other man. He did not return words. Instead Raseri focused, and when the first of the shots came he batted them away.

But one came from elsewhere, from afar, and as he turned to defend against it his leg twisted and he found himself sunk to the ground. The shot which had aimed for his legs, to incapacitate him, broke through his shoulder, obliterating the joint and forcing a slight howl of pain from the boy. Oh he was no stranger to pain, the Tutors had beat him bloody at times just for the fun of it. But this was on a whole other level.

With a growl he used the shattered bone, the torn ligaments, as a focusing point. The Darkside rumbled through him in that moment, and he wanted blood.

But he was not stupid.

The Council had fallen, either literally or figuratively speaking. He had no need to dawdle here.

So it was, with an almost exaggerated motion, the boy tumbled backwards from the platform. The Force caught him midfall, protecting him from impacting the ground... And when his feet did land he was gone in the blink of an eye, propelled from the scene by his burning rage and the pain at his shoulder.

That man would pay. One day Raseri would have his revenge.
