Secured by battle droids and a state-of-the-art security network, the Chateau is also protected by a low-grade shield generator, able to fend of several attacks from heavy energy weapons or orbital bombardment, a well-suited defense for such a high-born Lady. Located in one of Golbah City’s most prominent districts, the many gardens and pools arrayed about the well-manicured landscape have made a popular stop on many tours. While gawkers and locals alike might come to peer through the narrow fence, hoping to catch a glimpse of the magnificent edifice beyond the towered hedges, anyone attempting to enter without authorization risks almost certain death at the hands of the estate’s seemingly ever-present security.
Description:
Faye Malvern’s private palace on Geonosis, Chateau de Fae (“House of the Fairy-Folk”) is a romantic wonderland combining Arabesque, Orientalist, and French Villa-Grande design elements. Housed on a 20-acre plot in one of the finest districts of the Confederacy’s capital, Golbah City, the three-story home features an impressive 10 bedrooms, each with en suite baths and walk-in closets, as well as Faye’s own private suite, which hosts an inner parlor, bedroom, dressing chamber, and private bath. Lavish desert gardens and reflecting pools occupy the rolling landscape, while a strong perimeter defense and high security seek to maintain security and privacy here.

Grand Entrance

An opulent entry way featuring a palatial staircase in a palette of gold, burgundy, and black, leading to the upper floors. Inlaid marble flooring and trimwork illuminated by the gold crystal chandelier seeks to express a sense of luxury and suggest the wealth and status of the Chateau’s owner.

Swimming Pool

Located on the lower levels, the Chateau boasts a magnificent indoor swimming pool with saunas, workout and training rooms, hot tubs, and other amenities – giving Faye her own private spa. Music is played throughout using an expensive surround system, which – like the house’s environmental controls, area restrictions, and other amenities – can be commanded by specialty voice-coded direction.

Master Suite

Boasting a private parlor, dressing room, master bedroom, and en suite lavatory, the Master Suite is a refuge within a refuge, an inner sanctum meant to exude an aura of comfort, seclusion, and cozy retreat.

Grand Dining Room

Crystal chandeliers hang above an antique dinner table, illuminating the gilded paneled walls and warm colors of the Grand Dining Room. Tapestry curtains, golden accents, and imported carpeting combine to create intimacy amid plush surroundings. From the kitchens pour forth some of the galaxy’s most exquisite meals brought on by servants hailing from a dozen worlds. Legions more attend to the entire home and its palatial grounds. Nothing is left out, and every decadent and indulgent whim can be met at the Chateau.

Lavish outdoor pools, patios, and desert gardens featuring fruit-bearing palms, fragrant desert flowers, and the sounds of soothing waterfalls and fountains mingle with the hot desert wind to create an oasis. Perfect for entertaining and relaxing, some of Golbah City’s most famed galas have been hosted here. But normally, this is private Eden, the personal playground of Faye and her inner circle.


SECURITY – Very High
Security is everywhere here. From roaming patrols of modified battle droids to state-of-the-art surveillance, perimeter defenses including stun emitters to prevent those who might climb the fences and walls for a closer look. Even a low-grade shield generator to protect against attacks from the air and orbit exists. Of course, being the Confederate Capital, security across Geonosis is second-to-none, and anyone wishing to lay siege to Faye’s home ought to consider bringing a second fleet!
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
In the aftermath of the Battle of Taanab (856 ABY), the promotion of Faye Malvern within the Confederacy saw with it the need for her own lavish new home there. No stranger to comfort, no expense was spared and no detail overlooked. The house took two years to complete, and opened with a succession of gala masquerades, lavish dinner parties, and summer festivals to celebrate its completion.
