Check Up (Enigma)

[Audrey Thénardier]

Listening to her story Audrey had become even more sympathetic to [member="Enigma"]'s cause. It was understandable that after an experience like that one would want to try and do what they could for others while dealing with thier own pains. It was a healthy, if a bit uncoothe, means of healing oneself. Still, the painful look in Enigma's eyes had made Audrey feel more and more sorry for her. Even to where she awkwardly gave her a hug, being that she usually wasn't the openly emotional type.

Circe smiled, accepting the hug that had been given to her. "I have no idea if this body is capable of having kids or not. I really don't. But I'm afraid that even if I do get pregnant, it'll all go crashing down." She frowned, placing a hand on Audrey's belly. "And that's why I'm really enjoying helping you with this. And why I find myself attracted to you right now. Because you, as you are, are the physical embodiment of the success I fear I may never have."

Placing her hand over [member="Enigma"]'s Audrey retorted with "I have faith it will work. This child will be strong. She'll learn to be strong. Both with and without the force. I've delved into a little studying of the effects. I know where my child's path lies. With you and the others who follow the path of the dark side. And when she's become a strong leader, not only of my family but for others, then you'll know you've succeded."

"It's not faith in you I doubt, Audrey. I know you'll give birth to a beautiful, powerful young girl who'll become more than you could ever hope to be. I doubt myself." She frowned, cradling the swollen abdomen of the Naboo crime-lady more and leaning further into her. "I don't know if there's anything else I can help do for you, except for more of a massage elsewhere."

A mix of sympathy and interest had swrmed through Audrey upon hearing Enigma's offer. At first she wasn't sure, given her state. But then again there was nothing wrong with a little "R&R" to help soothe through the months of labor. Seeing where her hand was Enigma grabbed it again before moving it up to her mouth where she kissed it. From there she leaned foward and kissed [member="Enigma"] more before pulling away.

"Come. I've been in need of releiving some tension for a while. Blame the non-smoking habit." she smirked before taking her hand and leading her back to her bed.

"Very well." Circe smiled, nodding as she followed Audrey to the bedroom.

"That was... pretty interesting, I must say." Circe smiled, still curled up in blankets next to Audrey. "I have to say, you were a bit more excited now than when I was extracting that DNA from you." A giggle escaped her lips. "Are your glasses okay? We didn't crush them, did we?"

Covered up in the sheets next to her Audrey strentched out hersef after such an invigorating experience with [member="Enigma"] . With her curled up next to her Audrey drapped her arm over her shoulder while sitting up, of course needing to for the sake of the child growing in her. She sighed and smiled at Circe's comments before she asked about her glasses.

Reaching over to the table next to the bed she answered "Took them off beforehand. Didn't you notice?" before putting them back on. "And could you blame me? I've never tried when I have extra weight in my stomach." She chukled at this as she laid next to Circe, ventually saying "I want you to be there when she's born." She gave her a moment to react before explaining "This child will be born and rasied in secret for sometime. I can't let anyone know about her. There's too many risks. And I don't trust enough people to keep quiet about it. But...I do have trust in you. Besides, this is part;y your child after all."

"So you want me to raise your daughter, completely away from you to the point that she won't even know who you are." Circe paused, considering the offer. "I don't know... This is a major thing you ask of me. I can't say yes... not yet." She frowned, curling closer to Audrey as she tried to think a bit more about her various options.

 

[Audrey Thénardier]

"No, no. Of course not." Audrey shot up. "I'll still be there. It's just that I can't have anyone knowing about her yet. You don't know my family. If it's a threat to any of them inheriting the throne when I'm gone, they'll do whatever they can to destory it. Same for any enemies who'll try to use her against me. I need to raise her until she's onld enough. Strong enough. I just....want someone there when she arrives."

"Of course... I understand." She smiled, giving a soft grin as she intended to try and make a point. "You're exactly what I'd expect in a mother for a Vinithi. Perhaps you should have another." She paused, then chuckled a bit, feeling the flesh of Audrey's bump once more. "Soon. Very soon. And when it's done, all will be good and well."

At the idea of another child after this Audrey chukled while saying "Let me at least see how this one turns out. Then we'll see about that." As [member="Enigma"] felt her belly Audrey did as well through the sheets. She hummed with delight as both of them stroked her plump stomach before feeling something. "Awww. She kicked."

THE IMPORTANT DAY

Circe had spent a week here near the end of Audrey's Vinithi pregnancy, wanting to personally make sure there were no complications at the end. She smiled, calmly trying to keep the child at peace by stroking Audrey's belly slowly and gently, whispering to the unborn Yvette of the things she would do and the power she would take.

In the remaining months Audrey had done her best to cope with the weight in her stomach. It became harder to move and harder to walk but with the support of her droids and servants to aid her, it was a small inconvience. Support from [member="Enigma"] had been beneficial as well, not just to her but to Yvette as well given the words of confidence and the like she constantly whispered to her unborn child. Audrey often wondered if the child could actually hear while inside of her, and about other growing children within other women.

And then one day, after having a hearty breakfast with Circe in the morning, Audrey had only gone to change when she came back with news that shocked her to her very core.

"It's time....."

Circe nodded, moving to help Audrey get to a reclining chair that would ease the process. Finally getting her comfy, she doffed the Naboo businesswoman of her attire. "Alright... this is going to be the hardest part. The part that'll bring your adventure to an end. Just push... softly and gently. She'll be covered with slime, so that should ease the process."

There was a look of paic in Audrey's eyes as [member="Enigma"] told her to relax and sit. She nodded before calling "Droids! Somebody get out here and help!" With that a number of medical droids, and her protocol one, rushed out and all swarmed around her. Some of Audrey's guards had even arrived into the room to help, even though they looked as lost as ever on what to do.

The droids begean telling her words of relaxation while telling to push, Audrey gripping Crice's hand the entire time to where it grew too tight. She tried pushing but all that came out were yells in pain. She kept screaming at the force and any other higher power she could think of while the droids continued to work. There even came a point where she looked angered at Circe, about ready to blame and curse her for bringing this on her; of corse a side effect from the birthing pains.

Circe smiled, squeezing her hand and doing her best to smile and look as calm for Audrey as she could, but it seemed to be somewhat fruitless. She grew more and more angry. But as she did so, giving Circe the look of wishing she had never once agreed to this, the Echani-bodied woman leaned forward, giving Audrey a long, hard, and passionate kiss, as though such would help her take her mind off of her current situation.

The kiss had helped grealty. While still holding her hand while the droids still worked and she still pushed Audrey felt the need to kiss as hard as possible. She was on the verge of biting Crice's lips if it meant helping at all, yet the firey feeling she had from her kissing had been enough. She broke off and gave one grand finale of a scream that echoed all throughout the Thénardier estate. And finally....

"It's a girl." one droid proclaimed, holding a crying infant child in it's arms before wrapping with a blanket.

Tears streamed from Audrey's eyes and she laughed and smiled before beckoning for her baby to be brought to her. As she was Audrey could see a small green hand waving as her child, Yvette, creied out. Once put in her arms she could see her. Audrey still cried with joy at the sight of her little green baby daughter, a small patch of red hair on her head. She looked to [member="Enigma"] and tried to speak but was too caught up into the moment to think of anywords. she just wanted to finally hold her child that she'd waited for so long.
