PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

A heavily built but still lean man often dressed in a Pact of Apophis officer's uniform. Half of his face is engulfed in a terrible burn scar on his left eye, permanently disfigured from chemical fires created by his walker's ammunition cook-off. When he walks one can easily hear the mechanical whirring of cybernetics hidden beneath his uniform.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Asenath is a ruthless commander who cannot see the lives of his men as anything more than numbers on a data sheet. He does not hesitate to throw millions of men into the meat grinder if that is what victory requires. His mind has no sense of honor or chivalry, as he will stoop to the lowest tactics needed to win a battle. The targeting of non-combatants has frequently been a tactic he utilizes to force his enemy to waste resources protecting their civilians.

War, as a result for Asenath, is a calculation meant to be solved. The inputs are men and material. The variables are his command, and the output must always be victory. However he does tend to be somewhat uncreative in his approaches, shirking deceit and trickery in favor of brute numbers and the liberal application of artillery.

Despite his reputation for his calculating demeanor in command, the reality is anything but. Following multiple devastating defeats at the hands of Gress D'ran Gress D'ran 's Hellstompers, he has become more and more mentally unstable. Whenever facing Galactic Alliance forces, he is prone to extreme outbursts of anger and rage. In their presence, he does not take prisoners and uses all but the most horrific weaponry against them.

INVENTORY

Though often dressed in regalia befitting a man of his rank, Asenath is more than willing to don battle armor when his presence is required on the front. He wears a set of custom-made set of armor equipped with a personal shield capable of shrugging off small arms fire while he wields a monstrous automatic blaster cannon set inside his gauntlet capable of effortlessly walloping over enemy troops. In his other hand he wields a resonator mace to crush any vehicles or droids that stand in his way. He is often accompanied by a small honour guard of Death Brigadiers.

HISTORY

The exact date of Asenath's birth and much of his earlier life is unknown. The early stages of the century-long War of Unification that plagued the ruined world of Pandemonium led to the widespread destruction of infrastructure and data farms. He only first appears on the records as a Pact of Apophis Sergeant in the 82nd "Screaming Demons" Voidborne Division in the latter stages of the conflict to enslave his homeworld to the Warmaster's will. During this era of his service, he was already being noted by his peers as a ruthless leader whose units often saw horrific casualties but would always be the first to seize a beachhead or demolish a position. He excelled in instilling brutal discipline among his subordinates, preferring military drills over religious fanaticism to keep his men in line. He considered the act of performing summary executions of officers who showed incompetence or cowardly soldiers as wasteful, instead preferring to form penal battalions that would charge headfirst into fortified enemy lines. Through their deaths, enemy strongpoints were targeted and destroyed with artillery.

Following Pandemonium's unification, Asenath was selected to be part of the Pact's expeditionary forces and personally act as a liaison to the Sith Order's War Academies. While he considered his education there fruitful, he came to eventually believe that even his fellow Sith students were far too concerned with the lives of their men. He considered the strange alchemy and trickery that the dark side provided as fickle. Why bother with demoralizing the foe with dark magicks when ten thousand artillery shells could do the job better and more reliably?

An example of this philosophical disconnect came during a siege battle against an Alliance fortress that was blocking a vital Sith offensive. Where his compatriots attempted to breach the bastion's curtain walls using lightsabers and esoteric technology, Asenath used a more practical solution. The expenditure of several million troops allowed him to clear the outer defenses and build ramps using their corpses that allowed his tanks to scale the walls. A siege projected to last multiple years was ended in a few days.

Asenath was promoted to the rank of Chervertim-Colonel just in time for the infamous Battle of Mirial where the Pact first encountered the vaunted Alliance 34th "Hellstompers" Walker Battalion led by Major Gress D'ran. The Hellstompers turned what would have been an all-but-assured Sith victory into a devastating rout that saw Pact forces slaughtered nearly to a man. After personally executing Ennenhim-General Thuen Neraddur for his incompetence, Asenath rallied the survivors to retreat into the planet's massive catacombs.

Even months after the battle had officially ended his command enabled his forces to remain capable enough to launch deep raids into Mirial's Industrial Areas and defeat several Alliance attempts to snuff them out. Asenath was able to maintain his forces using ramshackle improvised vehicles and captured Alliance weaponry. Eventually, he and the few remaining survivors escaped Mirial after seizing a starport long enough to evacuate a majority of Pact personnel.

The brutal experience drove Asenath to the brink of obsession with the Alliance, focusing his seething wrath on the armored Alliance Major who had humiliated him. Not even the pyrrhic victory achieved during the Battle of Woostri was enough to satiate his hunger for vengeance. He now seeks to bring a war of annihilation against the Galactic Alliance and finally inflict a defeat so stunning he can put his one-sided rivalry with D'ran to an end.
