"Unfortunately no, and could you please stop shooting that blaster everywhere? Bolts make me nervous. Real easy to punch a hole in the bulkhead and expose us to vacuum."
Certainly she might have been unprepared for a long range fight, but at these close of quarters, she was deadly.
Twin energy shields powered up from both gauntlets like magical bucklers. There was a special one she could throw, and the other just worked as a glaive/shield.
She reached down and jammed a power cell into her belt. A third shield roared to life, her personal deflector shield. It made a nice bubble. Jada crossed both arms, overlapping the energy bucklers and nodded.
"Get close behind me. I'll get us close, then we'll tear em apart."
