Cassian Vornis
Character
Entralla. It wasn't a hugely famous planet, nor was it convenient for Cassian to journey to, however he lacked a master, and so would be assigned the tasks that no one else wished to do. Given that he would be sent on these alone, he was afforded a certain freedom in his travels, able to take slight detours to see planets that he likely would never otherwise bother with.
His task had been some mundane check on a neighbouring planet so mind-numbingly boring that he had attempted to push it from his memory, hoping that his only memorise of the trip would instead come from Entralla. Given that it wasn't the most famous of planets, there was a surprising amount of excitement that he expected could be found on Entralla. It was a planet rich with myths and legends, which surely would make for an exciting studying opportunity, if he was to speak with the locals or traverse through it's cities, hopefully able to witness the affects of these myths first hand.
Exciting as these myths may be however, the thing that Cassian truly wished to witness was the Lunar Night, and the parade that would take place on this night. It was by some incredibly luck that his task had coincided with this night, and by taking this detour on his return to Jutrdand, he'd be able to spend the Lunar Night on Entralla.
Learning to pilot a ship had seemed a daunting task, but it was a skill that he was so incredibly glad to have picked up, as they facilitated these solo trips, given that he would be given a ship temporarily whenever he was given a task. Whilst he could fly, the parts he had to manually take control of weren't often pretty, and so as he lowered his ship down into Nexus Cities hanger, it wasn't the smoothest of landings, almost crashing straight into the back wall. Cassian left his ship with a chip on his shoulder, desperately hoping that no one had been present to witness his far from perfect landing. Thankfully, the hanger was seemingly empty and he was able to walk out into the city without incident.
He walked without his mask, and dressed in a slightly longer, and more elaborate cloak than he typically would. The main purpose of his cloak was so that it would hang over the light saber that was concealed at his hip, the saber itself visually an old one, evidently not made for the boy and it had certainly seen better days. Whilst Cassian hated the weapon- viewing actual light saber combat as far more barbaric than the refined Echani martial arts he had been raised on- he could begrudgingly admit it came with a lot of value, making for a great intimidation tool.
As Cassian drew nearer and nearer the cities center, the streets became increasingly more filled, likely approaching where the parade would pass through. During this short walk, the moon had also became visible, notably incredibly close to the planet. Even if Cassian knew the moons close orbit was what marked Lunar Night, it was still surprising to see in person. Cassian shifted through the crowd, finding a spot where he could have a clear view of the cleared out road, screams and yells all around him as people began to pass by on the road, dressed as Entrallan warriors of legends, few of which Cassian recognised.
