Darron Wraith
Honor | Duty | Courage
Rosa had been trained well.
That's what was going through Darron's mind as Mikhail began his offensive. The Sith Knight seemed intent on destroying her, even when she was already barely moving around. He's not one to actually asses a threat now is he? Whatever the darksider's priorities were, they weren't exactly tactically sound to begin with. While it did make sense to try and distract Darron, the Jedi was always going to count on Rosa for some form of help. If not, well she would get injured in the process of this fight. That's just how things were, if he had to keep their relationship a secret by letting injury befall her. Well then so be it, it was a risk they both had known going in to this relationship. So it was with a little hope, and a lot of faith in his former Padawan that Darron tried to help her as best he could while the situation dictated it. If he went full out to try and save her life, while opening himself up to attack, he could pull it off. He had that much faith in his abilities, but he would show how much he loved her in the process.
So he trusted Rosa to use her training.
In his field of responsibility he could feel Rosa coming back to consciousness, he could feel her effort. It was just enough, and within those few seconds. The Jedi in him marveled at her resolve, the man in him prayed she knew what she was doing. He could feel her telekinetics, and he could feel her struggle. Though she adeptly handled the situation, and instead went for efficiency over power. Not all of the ice was caught, not even half of it, but she did stop the falling debris that would harm her. The cavern echoed with the crashes, and the GrandMaster almost forgot he had more work to do on his own. A smile formed on the inside as he marveled at her work for a second, until reality beckoned he come back to it.
"You may like being bad, but you are a fool for trying to fight me."
Highly trained senses extended towards the flying debris that would endanger Rosa, and his will wrapped around each offending piece. With the precision of years of training, and countless battles that gave him his experience, he grabbed them with the Force. No, Darron wouldn't dare try and stop them, not with the Sith Knight flying through the air at him. No, he instead allowed them to fly at Rosa, his beloved, and instead he altered their trajectory. Some required a great adjustment, other's just needed a few centimeters of recalibration. The GrandMaster's mind was in two places for a moment as the world was crystallizing around him, and had it not been for years of training in the Force and in battle he would have been in trouble. Thankfully he was quite experienced in these type of tactics, and as soon as he felt that Rosa was safe. He released his grip on the debris and turned all of his attention on the Sith Knight screaming towards him.
CRASH!!
The purple and blue blade's energy screamed against each other in the cavernous space, and the Jedi allowed all of Mikhail's darkness to flow into him for a brief moment. All of his hate, all of his will to win, and every dark power he was using was flowing straight into Darron. The Jedi hadn't learned Vaapad to get an upper hand on the Sith, although it did help that he could match their intensity like no other lightsider could. No, it was to cover his own weakness, and cover it it did. Channeling his will to win to keep the superconducting loop going, Darron's calm face was a lie. On the inside he was a raging storm of the Force, and he was about to unleash himself on the Sith.
"You should have picked a different fight, I will not go easy on you anymore."
His fist of durasteel tightened around his hilt as he pressed down against the foul weapon Mikhail was using. The darkness from it was radiating through out the entire cavern, and going straight into the Jedi Master pushing against the blade. Though there was no temptation, on the need to bring the superconducting loop back on Mikhail. So Darron pressed down hard to keep Mikhail's blade stationary. His right hand came down in an overhead slash as he stepped to the left to push Mikhail out of his line. If the boy wanted to use Makashi that was fine, Darron would bring his fast, powerful, staccato style to bear against his form. Blue blade came flying towards Mikhail's head as Darron slid the blade he was pushing down against Mikhail's own down his guard and brought the blade to bear on the man's stomach in a quick slash. He knew the phrink armor would protect from the torso strike, but how well would his neck hold up against a blade of pure energy?
