- Combat Function: These specialized pilots only are trained in the use of their Armored Walkers and in case of emergency, their survival when forced to leave their Armored Walker. Alpha Battalion currently specializes in more hit and run tactics, with the pilots also able to field the battlefield in case of an emergency on foot.
- Skilled Combatants: With a group or without, they are deadly in their Armored Walkers and when let out on the ground. Each pilot is unique in of itself and while no two are alike, they are not easy to kill either.
- One with Walkers: Their training with the Armored Walkers provided with the Neurocrowns have given them near unprecedented control over their machines. Due to this, they are much harder to take down than other vehicular combatants.
- Still Have Much to Learn: They are not fully combat tested as of yet and have yet to take a good long combat assignment. That may change however but mistakes can be made while Alpha Battalion is growing.
- Hard to Replace: While there are numerous of them in size, the training is rigorous. Requiring at least three months of training before graduating, it generally means that any heavy losses will be difficult to replace.
"COB" Alpha Battalion, more known as just Alpha Battalion, was the first formation of a unified force after the destruction of the Spirit of Holowan. While Callum Saville was recovering from his series of injuries, the company started to grow in leaps and bounds in his absence. In the end, it became the basis of their off-world counterpart to the Court of Blades, Alpha Battalion. They have been training vigorously during his absense, wanting to get themselves off-world and prove themselves a competent mercenary company. Only gladly taking the chance, the Prince decided it was time to see who wanted to contract them first.
