Come on in, the water's fine

Setzi Lunelle

Searching for Eleos's Altar
Setzi welcomed Darth Pyrrhus into his bed… their bed now. As he pushed her down gently onto the soft mattress, she helped him untie and entangle her clothing. This time, she wasn’t as muddy as she had been on Selvaris. The white shirt she wore revealed a lacy, pale blue bra underneath, faint tan lines visible where she had been out in the sun on Arda with the Frontier Corps not so long ago.

Still kissing him, with her right hand, she fumbled at a small panel on the night stand, and the shades on the windows closed with a faint electronic hum, blocking the quite beautiful view of the clear Pieralos water, but also preventing an interloping Nautolan from swimming by and catching a wide-eyed glimpse. She wanted full privacy for what she wanted to do to the Togruta.

The lighting in the room was much dimmer, but she could still see Darth Pyrrhus’s proud and handsome face as he kissed her closely, his striped lekku draping down on her. She would eventually close her eyes and slip under the covers, pulling them back for him to join her. She intertwined her legs with his, knowing this time, there was no escape pod to hurriedly jump into, and no guilty feeling later over what she had done. Unlike Selvaris, they would be able to stay in bed as long as they wanted, until the sun rose the next day high above the deep water in which they dwelled.

It was an effortless process of fluid motions, releasing them from textile burdens and exposing them to the cool temperature of the room. It was a liberating release from the pressures and concerns of the everyday, one of those rare moments where he completely lowered his guard. It was a break from a constant state of battle and conflict. He felt at ease. One could question how “Sithly” his behaviour was, but much like he allowed himself sleep, he would allow himself this. It was one of those things he was unlikely to admit, but he still felt within himself: he needed her.

The rest were fluid motions, as the couple melted together, into their bed, their home. Was this what happiness felt like? He was aware of the term, of course, it wasn’t new to him, but the sensations were overwhelming. Falling asleep had never been this easy, nor had waking up ever been this comfortable. Setzi had seemingly not yet awoken. Morning could wait, the sun still had some rising to do.

The inevitable was delayed until the woman stirred beside him. She’d twist, before rolling away from the reach of his arm, half-asleep still. It brought him back to the reality of the world, in that moment instinctively thinking to himself: Peace is a lie. Time to wake up. Sliding the sheets on his side of the bed to the side, he rose to his feet and began getting dressed. His eyes travelled across the still groggy Setzi Lunelle. “I believe I owe you a tour. What would you like to experience next?” After arriving on Glee Anselm, they had pretty much gone straight to his home. Now, this world was their oyster.
