"Oh please, spare me the," Toni said with an exaggerated eye roll. "I can't handle the gayness. I am not sure my soul can handle much more nationalism--I mean patriotism."
She shooed it away like someone who was bitter, instead of someone who didn't believe it existed. Her eyes and face had taken a distinctly pained grimace, instead of a disgusted one.
"Its a more common mistake than you'd believe in this business," Toni said with a shrug. "They think they are being shwifty and providing themselves deniable assets. The truth is they are giving themselves permission to be betrayed by guns like me who don't have professionalism on the line. Don't let the myths deceive you, there is honor among gunslingers."
As the pair walked through the barn doors, Toni grabbed Tarana's bicep and with her other hand gripped her pistol. They came through into the darkness of the barn, through the dim light, she could see another figure on the other end, little more than a sole silhouette with a case in one of their hands.
"So good of you to come," said a distinctive male voice with a haughty tone, "I was almost beginning to wonder if you decided not to come."
"Yeah, well traffic was hell," Toni said, "You got the cash?"
"Girl first."
"You think I enjoy dragging this mute skank around?" Toni motioned towards Tarana with her side arm, "Give me the cash or the only thing your getting is a blast between your wide set eyes."
The figure tossed the case towards Toni, landing right in front of the gun hunter after tumbling head over heals. She gave Tarana a shove, giving the princess a chance to sneak a weapon off her belt, "Ok, kid, go do your thing."
She knelt in front of the case and went about opening it to count half of her reward.
