Intent: To create a new Material to be used in Modern Armor

Modularity: Can be fitted to Vehicles and can be fashioned into Body Armor
Production: Mass
Material: Syndite, Halfnium Carbide Backing, Carbon Nano-Tubes, and Neutronium Tiles

Classification: Vehicle or Body Armor (All-Purpose)
Weight: Variable (Dependent on Vehicle)

Armor Quality:
Vehicle:
  • Kinetic: 10 (Front and Turret), 9 (Sides and Rear), 8 (Top and Bottom)
  • Energy Based: 8 (Front and Turret), 7 (Sides and Rear), 6 (Top and Bottom)
Body Armor:
  • Kinetic: 9
  • Energy Based: 7
Special Features:
  • Extremely effective against Kinetic Penetrator Rounds and features some degree of protection against Energy Weapons
  • Minor Lightsaber Resistance: Can slow Lightsaber strikes (Think the difficulty of chopping firewood with an axe)
Weaknesses:
  • Difficult to Replace: This takes a factory repairing an entire plate for each broken tile, requiring numerous man hours and cannot be done in the field
  • Strike Tolerance: Most tiles can only suffer one or two hits from a kinetic penetrator round, less from significantly larger and hypersonic weapons, and energy weapons are known to damage numerous tiles
  • Needs one more Weakness as the first is going to be basically negated...
